LOVE this monitor. The included On-Screen Control software lets you easily format the 21:9 format into smaller subsets and run windows within that smaller space. It also gives you full control of the monitors settings. The hardware based single control is also easy and quick to use.The contrast and colors are outstanding. The only nick I can add to this is if you're a gamer - the response time seems to be slow at 14ms. I'm not so it has no impact on the my appreciation of the monitor. No dead pixels here - I really appreciate LG products from this monitor to several cell phones. I bought a Samsung instead of the LGV30 this time and I'm disappointed in my decision.

Bad pixels! 3 returns for bad pixels and I still settled on a monitor with one dead pixel. You may ask why .... I didn't have any energy left and my wife was done with it. Apparently manufactures are ok with a certain # of dead pixels which is a concept i struggle with. Ran an online pixel test and had groups of bad pixels, think 1/16 of in. or maybe even smaller but noticeable nonetheless. Last monitor had one dead pixel but was in very corner and not visible at normal viewing angle. LG wanted to replace with refurb, not cool! Fortunately I was able to use Best Buy's 15 day return policy, thank you Best Buy. Like I said in the summary, this is a cool monitor but I would run an online pixel test.
