    I love all of the features on this cooktop, I am however not crazy about the finish on it. I thought it was damaged. It looks like bubbles are on the finish. I would have preferred the finish to be a smooth finish. However, I love the fact that this is smooth to the counter top, there are no knobs but the buttons , heats quickly & has child lock on it. Only down side is the steps you have to take to turn it on. You have to hit the power button 1st, then select the burner you want and if it’s a dual or triple burner you have to hit the button one or 2 more times and then select how high you want the heat…it’s a long process lol but I do like it :)

    Indispensable tool in the home kitchen, well designed and efficient. Spacious for good comfort when cooking. The largest burner in the center has the ability to select three heating areas allowing you to match the heat to the size of the pot you are using and not waste energy. Good job LG.

    We bought the unit on 12/30/19 but finally got it installed by Best Buy this past Saturday on 1/18/20. We had an electrician install new 6/3 gauge wire and 50 amp breaker per installation guide to make sure there was no issues. Now after just a few days we could not turn off the unit. It became unresponsive while it was still on!!! I had to reset the unit by flipping the breaker off/on. The user guide has no troubleshooting for if the unit touch screen buttons do not respond. This is super disappointing after spending $2000 for the cooktop and electrician!! And off course now that it is installed it is showing in our BestBuy account that it is none returnable! Buyer beware! DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!!

    Overall the product works well. The buttons can be hard to push or find the right location on the on/off switch. Child lock is a great feature since we tend to lay things on it a lot. Heats fairly quickly. Noise indicator is also good when turn off the stove to let you know it is completely off and cooling.

    Takes getting used to. You must hold your finger on control longer than expected. Cumbersome to raise and lower heat. Our cats can turn it on by walking on it so use of child lock, should say pet lock is mandatory. Does heat quickly and we like the choice of dual or triple coil use.

    So happy to have received our LG electric cooktop. We already had one in place and I dropped a glass jar on it accidentally and it splinted so a new one was needed. This is the only one that fits our opening so we were lucky and so glad to get it!

    We love the size of this cooktop and the ability to actually have 3 large pans on it at once. We could never put more than two large pans on the range cooktop and then could only use small pans for the other two burners. We were a little concerned with not having any actual controls knobs, but have grown to really love the touch control feature as well.
