This is an excellent cooktop. We purchased this when we bought all new appliances so we would have a matching set. The cooktop is visually appealing and has more space than out previous unit. The unit lights fast and provide even heat when cooking. I also like the layout of the burners. I would definitely recommend this cooktop if you are in the market for one.

At first glance, this thing seems a bit nicer than it is. It looks good. It works well. But, it is a very thin wall metal compared to the higher end others. I learned this morning that if the boiling water puts the burner out, the gas continues to fill the room. My old one had a safety valve that would shut off the gas. If I were to buy another cook top, it would not be this one. I would step it up a bit and get one that is better built and has built in safety features. It does work well though. It does what it was built to do.

We replaced a similar model from GE and we find that the craftsmanship is superior. With the GE model; the knobs kept coming off and two of the burners would not lite without a match.

Cooktop slightly larger and with different burner configuration than my previous one. Was told by install technician to purchase special SS cleaner and he was correct: finish scratches quite easily. That said, ignition and flame control better than previous cooktop.

I love it. It is sleek and sturdy looking. I have not been able to install it until the granite goes in, but I already love it. Excellent bang for the buck.

It’s awesome. Looks perfect in my farmhouse kitchen. Easy to clean as well.

In the process of updating my kitchen and this is exactly what I was looking for. It matches my other LG Products and I very pleased.

Looks great and heats up quick! Use Super Boil for Mac n Cheese and the kids don’t have to wait so long.

This is a beautiful unit that does well with dishes requiring high heat. One of the grates came broken from LG which seems to indicate a manufacturing or handling issue but the store resolved this for us no questions asked. Treating this as a one off situation and will update this post in a few months if there are any additional issues.

Product is easy to use and the heavy duty grate is excellent for cooking.

The range is nice but I gave it 3 stars because it scratches really easy. Make sure to use special towel to clean it.

Love this cooktop, burners light quickly and heat is evenly distributed.

I went thru a lot with this cook top. 1st the store in Murrieta said they scheduled my delivery and install but never did, so we had to wait an additional 3 weeks. Then the Store says we are required to purchase a new gas line, but the delivery/install guy didn't bring the new gas line, he blamed the warehouse. lastly it was kind of a sloppy install, a mess was left. As for the Appliance (LG) I noticed when you turn the knobs from low to high or vice versa, there is too much play in controlling the flame. I can move the knob like a half inch before it changes the height of the flame. The flame seems to jump in increments rather than gradually increasing or decreasing.

The item fit perfectly into existing cutout of counter top. Operates as described. We like the control knobs. The iron grates were heavier than expected, and thats a good thing for this price point. Overal very satisfied so far.
