The supplied speaker wire is garbage. After buying my speaker wire, I got them to work. The sound is very disappointing. There is very little punch from the subwoofer. The sound is more just an amplification of the tinny television sound. I got them on sale for a decent price. But if I had paid the suggested retail price I would have without a doubt returned them. My opinion is to do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
