Customers are positive about the dryer's compact size, quiet operation, ease of use, ventless design, and energy efficiency, with many praising its space-saving attributes and low noise level. However, customers are negative about the extended drying times compared to vented dryers. Some also reported issues with the dryer's overall performance and unclear instructions. The capacity was noted as sufficient for smaller households.

First time going ventless and I was worried that it would take much longer to dry. It does take longer, but not as long as people have said (3+ hours).
If you set it to Normal instead of Energy Saver, it will dry in 2 hours or less.
Of course this is still about 4x longer than my vented GE Speed Queen from 1985, but this is the norm today.

So far the dryer works great! While the capacity of this unit is less than some dryers, it certainly meets our needs. A heat pump dryer is much more energy efficient than the older technologies. And it requires no venting to the outside. I was glad to be able to dismantle my old lint-clogged dryer vent pipe. It is great to off of propane!

Unfortunately was not able to use this dryer due to electrical limitations in the older building I was in at the time so never got the chance to actually use it or try it out. Best Buy contracted service through a third-party company to attempt resolving the electrical issues, but the local service co they had at that time was useless, none of the Technicians they sent had ever seen or used an electricddryer before, which meant relying on LG. Unfortunately, LG Service customer service was even worse, stating that I shouldn't expect the washer to last forever. Funny thing was, it never got to work at all. Don't know how they get away with selling thousand dollar equipment and provide such poor customer service.

While we would have preferred a larger unit, the space in our new house for a washer/dryer just wouldn't allow it. That said, we have little to complain about here. One thing I would say is that the controls aren't as intuitive as some others I've used in the past. And the dryer cycle seems to take quite a long time - although that could be due to the settings not being quite right (see comment about the controls above). Either way, I'm sure we'll get used to it - and our clothes are definitely clean - so I would recommend these if you need a smaller stackable washer/dryer for your home.

We needed a compact washer dryer set for a closet install and these have been perfect. We had the ventless Bosch units in an earlier apartment and had to air dry our clothes after they had been through the dry cycle, with this dryer they come out completely dry (this is definitely in part that we had a vent installed). I love that it uses heat pump technology for a smaller footprint.

Unfortunately, there are not enough Heat Pump dryers available to choose from. This is the best one I could find. The only problem with it is that the matching, stackable washer is only 2.4 cubic feet, which is quite small.
Heat pump dryers are great, in my opinion. Not everyone will like them though because they work a bit differently. Instead of a standard convection dryer, which uses massive amounts of power and blows it all outdoors (causing a vacuum in the house and drawing in outside air), which is extremely uneconomical, these Heat Pumps reuse the heat it generates and condenses the water before pumping it to the drain (or collection tank), so no venting is required.
Some may complain because this dryer's cycle takes more time. Also, if you mix articles that dry fast with those that take more time to dry, the cycle may finish before everything is completely dry (so remove what is dry and add 30 minutes). But clothes do come out dry and soft, not hard and crispy like other dryers. We will also save a lot of money on our electric bill.

Easy delivery, quiet and effective dryer. Longer than a vented dryer, but excellent quality for ventless.

We are quite happy with our purchase. It is, to me, new technology using a heat pump to evaporate the water from the clothes, collecting it, then, optionally, pumping it out to the same place where the clothes washer drains. If this option is not used, the water is collected for manual draining. We sometimes fit two loads from the matching washer in the drier. No separate purchase was needed for the stacking kit as it is included and packaged inside the drier's drum.

Small dryer. Ventless. Very energy efficient. Dryer time is longer. Like thats There’s an app which you can set cycles, and see how much time is left on the cycle

This dryer is absolutely great! While it takes a bit longer to dry a load than a standard dryer, if you're reasonable with the amount you try to dry, it's not bad at all. Just know, when the dryer tells you the clothes are done, they usually are, even though the feel damp ... but there not! It is something to get used to.
