Install and setup easy enough. Only issue was the stacking. Instructions were poor. Dried well enough for ventless

Purchased this dryer for use on the second floor of our home. Being a "ventless" model there was no need to have a vent hose cut into wall. Machine works very well and is "very quiet". Fits nicely into a small closet. It is stackable but we have it setup as a side by side with washer. It does need a 220V electrical power source.

While this dryer is not full sized, it really does an amazing job… also being that it is a ventless dryer there is zero lint and mess in the laundry closet! It is so clean. It might take a little longer to dry close but not by much! Love this dreyer

Great little dryer! Be aware that cycles take longer than a standard, vented dryer, but it is easy to use and clean. I like that we don't have lint flying everywhere with a poorly fitting conversion kit - and I don't have to worry about vent fires. We are using it in our school to dry up to two loads of hand towel sized cleaning cloths every day and it is doing a wonderful job.

Takes a long time to dry clothes and often overdries, but probably the best ventless option currently on the market.

TERRIBLE! Bought a year and half ago and have had nothing but problems! Stopped drying about six months in. LG came out twice, could not fix problem. We thankfully had bought the extended warranty and they came and basically replaced all the parts. After that it worked fine for about 5 months and now it’s back to not drying. LG service is coming on Monday. NEVER AGAIN! Do not buy this model!

I purchased this dryer to stack above my LG washing machine with good results—a 50-minute cycle quietly dries my clothes. The ventless feature is awesome because it eliminates lint flying around the utility room! Compact size is perfect for apartment laundry needs.

After about six or seven months, it progressively needs more and more time to dry. Then I call geek squad, fortunately I purchased a plan with it. The technician comes and tries to explain that it takes a long time to drive with these ductless dryers. I tell them yes I understand that but it shouldn’t take eight hours to dry two towels. One of my nieces had told me to stay away from LG appliances. They’re always needing repairs. So far the washing machine that comes with this has not broken. But I do have another LG unit that needed a repair. This time I’m going to ask for an exchange for a different machine. I would say it’s a lemon.

Hi, Bethann. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about the LG Dryer (DLHC1455W) model, especially after it’s been taking significantly longer to dry clothes. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations.
While ductless dryers can sometimes take longer, eight hours for two towels is excessive, and we want to get this issue resolved for you. It could be a potential issue with airflow or an internal sensor, and we recommend checking the lint filter and venting system to make sure they’re clear and functioning properly, as blockages can sometimes cause extended drying times. For more help, you may visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-dryer-why-is-my-dryer-not-heating-not-drying-or-taking-a-long-time-drying--1432223739634.

Since you've purchased a service plan, we recommend working with the Geek Squad to ensure the unit gets the necessary repairs or consider discussing an exchange if this issue continues to persist.

Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and we’ll assist you in escalating your case and finding a solution that works best for you. ^Juvy LG

Nice size for our situation in a hair salon. Does not heat up room as much as other ventless dryers. We did have a problem with the vent screen the first week though as part of it melted for some reason.

We replace our previous Elect. Dryer with the same model, after 10 years. We were happy with the original, ( only one service call during the 10 years.). Replaced rather than have second service call. These units are what I would call Apt. sized, when you have limited room for unit.

Do not buy this dryer. It may or may not dry clothes. I can't tell. It says it comes with the stacking kit and a hose for draining it. Mine did not. Best Buy customer support was useless helping me. The could not understand what I was talking about. LG support was nice at first, but then denied my request for the missing parts because it had been over 30 days since I purchased (it was 5 days after that deadline when I started this) I was remodeling and purchased early to avoid these supply chain issues. My mistake. That meant no support from anyone on this problem. I should have checked the parts immediately, not assuming they were there. The stacking kit is specific to this dryer: 4930EL3021A, 4930EL3023A. It is supposed to ship with it, so it's not available to just order on its own. Do not order this dryer if you need to stack it. If you have a non-stacking need, I have a useless hunk of metal I can sell you cheap.

I am very pleased with the LG stacking washer/dryer. I am limited to a ventless dryer. The LG is much better than the previous brand I had. This dryer actually gets towels dry and in less time.
