    Over priced junk

    My first front loader and I will never purchase one again or perhaps it’s this brand and model that ruined it for me. * Do not get energy saving washers, this just means it tries to wash your clothes with as little water as possible. My clothes are hardly wet when cycle is complete which makes me question weather my clothes were ever washed. I did find a way around that which is to place the cycle on HVY SOILED mode but it makes you wonder. *You can’t soak clothes and pre wash even though it has a pre wash soap container. This is not the same as filling your top loaded and letting your clothes soak for hours in a pre wash solution like oxi clean. The wash machine will not soak your clothes at all as it appears it hardley uses water. *My clothes a lot of time smells as if they have been left in a washer for days but it’s not been even hours. * I don’t know why it shows it has WiFi capabilities because it neither comes with direction and it does not link to WiFi. The app has no value. To me this machine works as if it’s a cheap basic model that has no special capability yet it boast it does so much like sanitize and steam. If I could I would return it. I would rather a cheap machine compared to what this over price cheap junk performs.

    worst touchpad in history

    my first LG W/D with analog displays lasted 15 years and going STRONG still. I recently purchased this model to replace them and will be exchanging them for a different model. why? because you'll only be able to read the touchscreen with a flashlight. LG had *no business* approving it out of its design studio because, when you pay $1K for a top-line model, you expect it to work. you expect to be able to READ the operation prompts. if the panel illuminated it *might* make the model better, but we'll never know because it doesn't light up. does the machine itself work well? of course it does. LG literally rewrote the book on washer-dryers. but this design is a HUGE fail and I urge you to reconsider before making the purchase. find a model that has a legible keypad or look at another brand.

    Works ok until it breaks

    I have owned this washer and dryer set for 8 years. The dryer and This washer is like the boyfriend every girl has at age 17, in love at first leading to only heartbreak in the end. I loved the adorable sounds when it was done, the idea of having an HE washer and dryer. But the dryer never really dried properly, and the washer wa wok until one day I come into the laundry room to see a puff of smoke and the washer has ruined my brand new sheets and the white comforter by cashing burn marks. I quickly call Best Buy, my warranty expired DAYS ago. Ok it says 19 years on the machine... call LG and they tel me that it sounds serious so they will have the exaecruove team call me. I have called back 3 times, each time them assuring me that an executive team member will be calling me back. It’s now been 19 days latter no response. It’s time for me to switch every applicable over to anything other than LG and not from Best Buy.

    Washer shakes violently

    Shakes and rattles loudly. We are having difficulty with LG getting the problem diagnosed and fixed. They initially said it was an installation problem but it continued after adding some screws and just gets worse and worse. LG does not follow up as promised. Not impressed with the cleanliness either. Would advise to stay away from LG Washers. We were also misled at Best Buy and told this washer was okay for the 1st level of a house with a basement. They said the high spin issues were resolved with leveling and shocks but we are finding this to be very wrong. Disappointed in Best Buy and LG with this purchase.

    LG makes lemons

    Do not buy an LG under any circumstance. I don’t know why consumer reports rates them so highly. We purchased an LG top loader from Best Buy. WITHIN 2 YEARS THE TOP WAS RUSTED OUT near the bleach. Google it. LG refused to assist because they said it was cosmetic. Complete nonsense. Then we bought an LG front loader thinking it was a good buy and the other was just a design flaw. After all, there are so many good reviews! That was March 2017. Now in November 2018, the bearings went out. That cannot be repaired for less than $500. LG is horrible. Now I’m going back to Best Buy and will never again buy an LG product of any sort.

    Tore up my clothes

    It’s a beautiful looking appliance but first I noted that water leaked back into the soap dispenser. I used the machine a couple times a week so not a problem but if I went out of town maybe water would overflow. Howerever I noted my clothes looked pretty beat up after cycle. This morning it shredded my rug.

    Omg this machine is awful! It sounds so loud and it shakes like crazy! Definitely got a lemon. Calling Best Buy tomorrow to replace it, otherwise I’m returning it and exchanging for another brand. Even my dogs are afraid of the sound! Never heard something so loud, sounds like an old bit up piece of junk!!

    The worst washing machine ever!!

    We returned this washer twice after experiencing the same problem with each. The washer, on random occasions, would not complete wash cycles. We even had a plumber ($350)come out to verify there was nothing wrong with our plumbing. Do not buy this machine!!!
