This washer runs quietly if you make sure it is completely leveled by locking the nuts after adjusting the feet. We ran a test cycle washing a load, including a pair of dirty white pants. The white pants came out clean! I emailed LG customer service inquiring about how to increase water level during the rinse cycle since I saw very little water in the tub. LG responded the following day instructing me to press "Water Plus" 2X, or press "Add Garment" during wash cycle, or choose "Perm. Press" or "Bulky" cycle to increase water level. I tried "Water Plus" 3X and indeed saw water splash in the tub. Now I just hope it would last at least 10 years...

This is my first front loader after two top loaders. This one leaves my clothes clean and smelling clean. It's fairly quiet. I do have to wipe the inside of the door off after every wash to get the collection of hair. I also wipe out the rubber seal after every wash. I've only had it for about a month, but works so much better than the other two!!

I did lots of research on these units and the LG's were highly recommended both in stores and online. Great features and quiet with minimal vibration. I got the matching dryer as well. Steam function is a must for alergy problems. The 4.5 cu is perfect for a family of 4.

I bought both the washer and dryer. They look great and are very efficient to use. The cycles are very quiet, since I have them in a closet off the kitchen and family room, we would notice if they were not. The bright white cycle really works, I was amazed....Great product!

So far clothes are getting cleaner. Options for each load are easy to use. High speed spin cycle does not cause washer to move. We placed it on a platform for easy access, and it works well. I like the reservoirs for detergents and softener on the outside better than inside tub area.

After extensive research, I bought our first front load washer with the features that are important to us. Great washer. Cleans well. Quiet. All the features we use, plus a couple extra. Now if I could just get my husband to wipe the door, etc. dry when he's done, we'd be all set.

My wife really likes the new washer. It doesn't make annoying beeps but plays a tune when finished. The clothes come out so much better than our old washer. We chose this one because it fits Under a cabinet we built in the kitchen and matches our other appliances.

I purchased this washing machine after doing quite a bit of research about the best washer and dryers. Other than a few hiccups with the installation of the set I purchased, which I’ll address later, I have nothing but great things to say about this washer. We are a busy family with three adopted fur babies (2 cats and a new puppy), so a good washer is an absolute necessity. This washer does not disappoint in functionality and performance. I’ve used the steam and sanitizer settings with great success. This washer cleans like no other machine we’ve ever owned. I love the LG NFC app which pairs well with our smart home. I no longer have to worry about whether or not I have set a timer to inform me when the washing cycle is finished. I’m so happy we purchased both the LG washer and dryer. I would recommend the LG units to anyone in the market to buy.

I love this washer! It's hard to believe the clothes get so clean with how little water it uses! It is large enough to wash a king size comforter. Some of the cycles are very long but I can fit about three of my old sized loads into one with this machine.

I had a load of clothes that had stained severely due to multiple reasons - oily chilly residue, cycle grease etc. This washer in its heavy duty mode took most of them out in one clean. Its marvellously quiet and completes the standard cotton cycle fast.

After researching machines for a few months we decided to go with LG glad we did these machines are fantastic. You can tell the difference your clothes feel very quiet and plenty of features. Great little chimes when the run is finished thanks LG

I originally purchased a different washer but was not happy with it and had it returned. Best buy was so helpful and made the entire process easy. I looked around and found this LG washer that also had great reviews. I ordered it and it arrived promptly. I love the washer!!! It does a great job at washing and has additional features that are not included in the description such as rinse and spin. It truly senses loads because I have used it to wash my newborns smaller loads and stuffed it once to see if it really worked. Each time the clothes comes out clean and smelling fresh. I would recommend this washer to everyone! I was able to also wash my comforter with no issues. My mother in law is very picky when it comes to cleaning since she is a professional cleaner and she loved the washer so much, that she bought one too!

Love this washer so far. Washes clothes well and has great features. Only reason for four stars is because there is still a small pool of water on rubber rim when I open the door. So far no issues with odor. I wipe the rubber rim and glass on door dry when I'm done doing laundry.

This washer replaced a 13 year old front loader. This washer has much more capacity and is the same size on the outside as my old front loader. It's quiet and has less vibration than what it replaced. So far, I'm really happy with it.

We bought this washer with the pedestal. Its ease of operation make it fun to wash clothes. Its a very quiet machine which was important to use because we live on a one floor house and the laundry is right off the kitchen.

It cleans great and it is a quiet washer. My wife used to brush my work clothes before putting it in the washer, but now, she doesn't have to do that. Just directly put it in the washer and let the washer clean it.

I've wanted a front load washer for some time. This LG washer had very high reviews and my experience is the same. Washes great, very quiet, a little bit of a learning curve on cycles but I would definitely buy again

I love this washer so far. I had a prior years ago model. This one is faster, uses less water and gets clothes cleaner. I've even tried out the app functionality but so far haven't used a custom cycle.

Washer is quiet, very energy efficient, cleans very well. Does not rattle or shake with towels or rugs. User guide is well written and very understandable. It is a big upgrade on any previous washer we owned.

It took my 28 year old washer and dryer set to kick the bucket before buying this set. I hate to shop. A complete failure at being a female in regards to shopping. I did a lot of research. Read a lot of reviews. Procrastinated as long as possible before my purchase. I do not regret it for a minute. My clothes come out cleaner and getting wrinkles out (for when they are in overnight) is easy. My son's cargo pants and other hunting gear come out soft and comfortable, instead of like wearing tent canvases. The only tiny issue I have is that the options buttons are difficult to read if lighting isn't very bright. I imagine the longer I used it, that won''t be an is because I will know without looking which button is which.
