Works well compared to my older LG. Much quieter and more efficient.

This is my second of these (bc I moved; not bc the last one died). Chose LG w/d bc Consumers rated highest. I really appreciate and use the steam function, for both clothing refresh and for cleaning things like pillows that I don’t want to fully saturate with water in the washing machine. I guess my only complaint would be not being able to put it on the super low heat setting on the delicate cycle (or probably for any cycle, for that matter, though I haven’t checked the others). I can’t imagine why that’s not an option. So if I want to dry things on super low heat (the lower the heat, the better, for most fabrics, as far as longevity goes), I have to use the timed function and keep checking back until it’s dry. That said, I haven’t explored the custom cycle option bc I just haven’t taken the time to figure out how to do it, so perhaps I can create my perfect delicate-cycle.

The new design has a way the drain the extra H2O every so ofter to prevent the musty smell and prevent any mold build up. Its annoying to have to do but if it prevents the problem then it's worth it. My other front washer was 2nd hand and didn't have a way to get ride of excess H2O and it caused a musty smell if the cloths were left in washer to long.

Well, I’ve only had it for two days, and it’s a replacement for an LG I bought 11 years ago whose bearings had failed, but this unit is quieter than the one it replaced when it was new, it’s a bit bigger and the only thing wrong with it is that they don’t make it in red anymore.

Does a nice job cleaning clothes, generally quiet, and water conserving. Misses on a couple design flaws - very low for a machine in this price range, should be 8-10” higher to be more convenient. Missing an auto function for clothes with color. Automatically goes to hot wash, you need to remember to set it to cold wash.

Pros: The washer is very good. The price was excellent. Quality seems very good. Many (too many?) functions to choose from Cons: a bit noisy, takes longer to wash than my old washer. Maybe it weighs the load before washing. Must clean door rubber seal after every wash, empty pump after every week.(not sure if that is good or bad) I have had it for under a month if something elese comes up I will update.

This is the best washer to date. Great variety of cycles for all fabric types. Works very efficiently and a great energy saver. Gets the job done in the best time frames.Handles bulky items very well. Great for big loads of laundry and excellent for delicate fabrics.

very satisfied huge deal as how much bigger than my old washer on tip of that its energy saver it means it coast lot less than my old one to operate ,I can wash twice as much and save on electric bill that is %200 I love the way it works like auto soak and many more

So far so good, I’m happy with its performance, it’s a much better washer than my old one. I had a whirlpool duet stackable washer and dryer, when the washer went bad, I didn’t want to replace both. This one is working out perfectly with the duet dryer stacked on it

This washer replaces my 12 year old LG washer. So far in a month I have been very pleased with the performance and operation of this washer. It is easy to operate and the "more water" feature is an improvement over the old one. I have been trying all the different cycles and the bright white cycle got white dinner linens spotless in only one try! Minor improvements have been noted such as the feature that allows the door to stay open a tad to avoid the stink and mildew problem. I really like that this washer has a drain and junk catcher that I clean once a week to keep the washer fresh.

I was very impressed with the new LG front load washer I purchased, the washer is very quiet and does a great job washing the clothes, they look cleaner than the top load unit I had, and are spun dryer. Great features and rebates on the LG units I purchased!

Great washing machine, the clothes coming out almost dry completely. I don't need to much time in the dryer and is quit...! I love it!

This is a great product with a huge capacity to wash big loads of laundry. It has many different programs and also allows the user to adjust the washing mode according to the clothes soil level and setting the preferred water temperature and spin speed.

I read MANY reviews for MANY front loading washers and dryers before making my purchase on the LG machines and LG had the best fit for us. I've seen lots of negative reviews from people on not just LG front loaders, but also the Whirlpool and Samsung front loaders--and most of them all deal with the same few grievances. We've only had our machines for a few weeks now, and I carefully wipe down the washer when I am finished using it each week, taking time to clean the rubber seal and prop the door open so as to air it out and let any moisture dry. I have not made any review but this definitely worth recommending because it cleans more then the washer I had before (by the way it's also front load )and use less water than a regular front load. This really satisfy my O. C laundry needs. It is a great appliance.

i bought the washer and dryer set. I couldn't be more happy with them. they can handle our king comforter (large loads)with no problems. quiet, efficient and modern

the washer is about a month old but so far has worked flawlessly. There is a setting for just about anything you need to wash and the clothes come out very clean. You have to get used to some of the sounds it makes but they are all necessary.

This is so beautiful and a quiet and works wonders. I love this. I love the steam option. Every time I use it I marvel at how fortunate I am to have it. It works so well! I got rebates from utility company. I am saving on water bill! its the dream.
