My old LG died (over 10 years old) and the repair cost just wasn't worth it compared to a new unit. Our cabinets required a match on the dimensions of the washer and this one was perfect. We were also looking for steam features on the new unit to keep clothes fresh. An interesting surprise is at the end of the wash cycle a cool tune is played. After some hunting I found a YouTube recording of it: Majors' Mask: Clock Town Day 1 If you or anyone in your family is a Zelda fan and wants to hear part of the music from the game, get this washer.

This washer is from the same company as the machine it replaced. We have been very happy with the performance and it is much quieter than the old model and barely vibrates. Very solid.

Had it only for a few months but so far so good. Very quiet. Could improve visibility on the control panel since even with the unit on, the light does not cover the setting.

LG's are amazing products. we had an older version of this washer and loved it. This one is so much better. It does a great job washing our cloths. Love the color too.

works great, love the new washing cycles. The drain and spin cycle is the best option for front loaders. I'm sure not having this option could have saved my last washer from breaking down.

excellent cleaning power, and energy efficient. super quiet. has no wi fi and just basic blue tooth for diagnosing errors. no app integration. last year's model.

I am very much impressed by the direct drive technology as it works very quietly. By the time the clothes are done washing they are almost dry already.

Should have measured height & depth as well as width. In showroom it sat flush with the sidekick but installed there’s an ugly gap under both washer & dryer. It washes well but looks like jet plane cockpit with all its buttons.

Quiet machine. I had a previous lg and ball bearings went after 7 years. Cost too much to fix so opted to buy a new machine. Got a great deal. So far the machine is working great no problems.

This is replacing a 14 yr old Kenmore Elite front loader. It is 1/2 again larger than my previous washer. Nice so far. Cleaning and water savings are as advertised.

This washer makes laundry easy and not a chore. The multiple settings ensure I’m washing with the right temperature. My clothes are clean and the machine is energy efficient.

Great ergonomicl design. Very silent wash. Steam wash is great. Also quick cycle is pretty good. Fit snugly in our small area in basement. Installed easily within an hour.

I have owned an LG washer for 14 years but finally it needed repair and it was time to trade up. So I bought this washer for a great price from Best Buy and found out that LG washers had really developed over the years. All of the new functions like Turbo wash, Alergiene, Steam fresh care and Bright whites were welcome additions, but the basics of the machine were still the very dependable, quiet machine I was used to. The new black finish which doesn't show prints is really nice looking. I look forward to the same year in and year out dependability I have been used to in LG products.

Love it! Can wash king comforters with no problem. Can handle big or small loads. Best washer I’ve purchased. Beats out my old Samsung.

Our new LG front loader set is AWESOME! It replaces a 16 year old set that was way over due. Boy, have washers and dryers come a long way: both have steam cycles and the washer has a tub clean to keep it new. Only a few weeks in use so far, but after a LOT of research this was definitely the right choice. A little more expensive than other options on the market but you get what you pay for. The team at Best Buy was awesome, from the store to the delivery... perfect!

I really like this washer. It is very silent, you can barely hear it when it's in use. Even the people form best buy who came for installation were great and very professional.

it has so many features, my wife just loves it. Got it on bestbuy.com and had it in 3 days and for less money than the other guys

The first thing i like about this is how it's moderately quiet compared to the previous washing machine. Great value especially at the price my folks bought it for.

Been debating if Maytag is a better machine but I am glad we decide to go with LG. The washing machine is quiet and lots of feature to choose from and a good size.
