LG WashTower: Overcomplicated Tech, Underwhelming

Unfortunately, the experience has been a major disappointment. The built-in intelligence constantly loses connectivity for no clear reason. The cycle options are frustratingly limited, and a normal load takes an hour by default, which feels excessive. You can’t adjust temperature on standard cycles, and the convenience of a favorite cycle memory is totally missing. Compared to Kenmore’s simplicity and reliability, the LG just falls short. The smart features aren’t worth the hassle, and in my opinion, they need a lot more refinement. Overall, I can’t recommend this machine—especially if you value straightforward, reliable performance over tech gimmicks.

The W/D is one unit, all electronic, AI, and user friendly. Very happy with LG washer dryer unit.

The only thing I don’t like is that the rubber seal around the dryer glass door is already coming apart. It happened after my first 5 cycles.

The first one came bent by the dryer part but a replacement came a week later. So far it has been functioning beautifully.

Still trying to figure out a lot of the cycles & all. A little frustrated with the whole damp/dry automatic setting, but I’m sure I will figure it all out. For now… I just switch it to timed dry.. ESPECIALLY on TOWELS.
