Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the 4.5 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Front Load Washer and 7.4 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer WashTower's quiet operation, ease of use, and efficient cleaning performance. Many also highlight its space-saving design and large capacity despite its compact size. While some found the unit heavy and installation challenging, the positive feedback on its functionality and features outweighs these concerns. The app integration, while useful for some, is a point of contention for others.

Love my new washtower! Works beautifully, fast, efficient. Read the manual, be aware that filter drawer bottom left corner of washed should be cleaned/drained every few weeks, and be sure to tighten drain and basket plugs well! We had a little flooding because was not done well. But not the machine's fault! Does a lot of laundry in a little space, great capacity, controls so easy to use. You'll love it!

I've had this purchase for past year and am very satisfied with it - multiple options available for washing AND drying and doesn't take up the space the previous wash/dryer I had before. The machine runs quietly and easy to clean. I would recommend it to a friend.

Perfect for my laundry space— measurements provided in description were spot on. Easy to use controls with options for small loads, bedding, delicates and normal. Easily change temperature and spin cycle with the touch of a button. Large drum allows me to wash comforters, coats, and rugs and more. Uses very little eater and detergent to my surprise. Clothes come out clean and fresh.

The best Washer/Dryer money can buy!

The best washer and dryer wash tower you can buy for the money. If you’re looking for a space saving, high quality, reliable, and aesthetically pleasing unit then this is the one. If you just want something to wash your clothes and don’t care about anything else, this can do that too! However, this unit is SOO powerful for its size. Yes, it’s full size but it’s also moderately compact. We have done about a dozen loads and each load has been incredibly clean with no issues or quirks. There’s the “100” and “200” model (which is in the serial number), and we recommend the step-up. Why? Not because it’s the most expensive but rather it has some pretty sweet features. For example, there’s a turbo wash that really makes washing small loads or quick loads enticing. I find myself doing quick loads more than full loads, which also saves water and money. Secondly, the dryer has a steam feature that is absolutely incredible. I didn’t initially think it was worth it but if you need to freshen up some sheets, linens, light clothing, or anything before pre-ironing (or not) this feature will do you wonders. I could continue but I think this unit speaks for itself. For the price and what you get, including the control panel being centralized between the washer and dryer, it can’t be beat.

My old washer died so I researched options and this one was highest rated on all the sites i checked. It is the perfect size for a condo and is technologically advanced but still really easy to use. You can go with default washer settjngs or adjust to your hearts content. My favorite thing is the app that alerts me when the wash is done - a great feature if work from home and cant watch the laundry cycles. I cant say its "quiet," but its reasonable and not as noisy as my older top load machine. The spin cycle is super fast so clothes come out almost dry. Overall Im very happy with it after a month so far. Hope it lasts a long time!

Love the design of the drawer and washer! Very contemporary! It perfectly match with our renovation style. Both machines work very quietly, which we appreciated a lot! The only thing you may need to consider is if it is easy to put in your laundry room. Our laundry room is in second floor, the installation specialists were fantastic, but it took them lots of efforts to put in.

I give this beautiful LG washer/dryer tower 5 stars! Went to the store to buy Two front loads to stack.. saw this new machine and fell in love! I’d say it is a little elevated in cost but worth every penny in my opinion... It is one thousand times more efficient than my 10 y/old w/d combo unit I had.. I was drying before for 3-4 hours one load, now less than one hour and all dry! Can I also rave about the size capacity! My once large load is now a medium load and washes in 30 mins... definitely recommend for small spaces like condos or even if u want to save on the stacking up. It’s great having all the controls in the middle of the tower versus if you stack normal front loads your dryer controls are on top. This machine is extremely quiet even when washing bedding or work jeans. The only thing I would recommend is if you live on an upper floor like me make sure you tell nest buy to begin with so they can send 3-4 ppl for the delivery. It took 3 delivery attempts because we had lazy delivery men that refused to bring up to the third floor.. finally the third time is the charm and oh surprise these TWO men brought it up... that shows me the other delivery people were just plain lazy. Anyways besides my delivery experience this is 100 percent recommended!

We've been using our WashTower (electric) for over eight months now. There's just the two of us retirees using it. At first we didn't know what to make of this machine, as it was different from any other machine we've had. It starts and stops a lot during its cycles, which apparently is normal. It is fairly quiet, uses surprisingly little water, and seems to get our clothes clean. One thing I dislike about the machine is not being able to just directly dial in the settings I want. There are several presets available, so if you don't want to think about anything just select one of those and walk away. But if you want something different, you have to load a clunky app onto your phone. You open the app, select from among a bunch of different choices, and send it to the washer via wifi. For example, I do tie-dye and need a spin-only cycle. I was a little annoyed to learn that I could not choose that option directly on the machine, but have to use the phone app. And I have to do it every time I want that cycle. The dryer works pretty well. It has several presets, and the machine's default is to leave the clothes just a little damp. You have to set the dryness level higher if you want them totally dry. You can also do custom dryer settings, but you can't just punch in the amount of time you want. A default time appears, then you can select Less Time or More Time in 5-minute increments. I find that rather clunky. So the machine isn't perfect, but overall we are satisfied with it.

I researched a lot of washers/dryers before my purchase. I knew that I needed a machine that would fit into its allotted space in my apartment, that would be front-loading (and energy-efficient), and that would look nice. This machine, though more expensive than others that I researched, meets my criteria. [For NYC apartments, where space is limited: measure the space where the machine will go, and then measure it again. Also, speak to a Best Buy rep about the dryer ventilation kit that will fit your space. The original ventilation tube hook-up on the back of the machine added 4-6 inches to the machine's depth, and I couldn't close the door to the washer/dryer closet. The installers had to return and use a different, narrower ventilation tube. The machine now fits perfectly in its space.] I am still getting used to the features/settings (like, can't I keep the machine's lights on for the entire time that I am unloading it?!?), but I already appreciate how much more comparative capacity it has and how much quieter it is than my old machine. One thing that is odd is the amount of lint build-up happening outside the lint trap on the inside bottom of the dryer door. I have to take a wet cloth to clean it up after the drying is done.

Very happy with our new LG WashTower. It is super quiet with no vibration. The design is excellent with all controls in the center of the unit and large wash/dry capacity considering the overall size. The quality seems very high. Hopefully long term reliability will be as well. It is our first LG product. Best Buy sales support and delivery service were very good.

This set is one of the most brilliantly and smartly designed sets on the market. All of the machines on the market look very similar and the bubbly look, while nice, takes unnecessary space. While stacking is a wonderful way to save space, it requires tracks, and sometimes the can become problematic. Alas, a solution for saving saving space, looking different (in a good way) [subjective] and bringing something new to the market, a touch panel that controls both the washer and dryer unit that is easily accessible in the middle. That's right, no more long reaches to turn on the dryer if stacked! Moreover, These machines allow you to remotely turn on the machine and start a load remotely. How is this beneficial? Ever left the house and wanted a warm towel for that shower you are looking forward to? Keep your towels in the dyer and before you head home start it from your phone. Ever wanted to wrinkle release an outfit before you head out but its in the dryer and you are on the road? Not an issue. Lastly, this set will let you know via app when a wash or dry cycle is done on your phone. Smartly priced, beautifully designed, and brilliantly designed.

Look great, and so easy to use, even my 80+ year-old non-tech-savvy parents can operate them. Yes, you can run them from your phone, but we don't. We simply needed a set of machines that would fit into an apartment washer/dryer closet. These machines fit, but for a stacked unit, the loads it can handle are much larger than we expected. We figured "stackable" meant 1/2 size. Totally not the case. The clothes come out of the wash lightly damp, so the dryer doesn't need to run very long. I guess that's more common with newer machines, but we were pleasantly surprised. These machines are super quiet. In our install, the wall behind them shares a common-wall with a bedroom, and we can't hear them running from in there. Love the LED lights inside so however your lighting is set up, it doesn't matter. When you open the door, you can see everything inside. Same goes for the controls: they are all backlit, so if you are installing into a dark hallway or poorly lit spot like we were, you're covered. We are very satisfied with the purchase, quick delivery and fully-functioning install. They arrived after 6 on a Friday and we were running our first load within 90 minutes of the knock on the door.

So far so good! Great size and easy to use. Excellent performance. Make sure the installation guys remove all of the styrofoam underneath. Otherwise, it could cause squeeze sounds when in use. Easy to fix though so dont stress over it.

It is well designed and fit into our small space perfectly. We did have to remove the bifold door, but this doesn’t protrude into the hallway at all. The capacity is HUGE! A queen-size heavy comforter only filled it a little over half full. It is also extremely quiet. This greatly exceeds other laundry centers I’ve used. Highly recommend.

This wash tower is excellent. It’s good looking, it saves space, makes the laundry look and smell clean and feel soft. It is quiet and plays a nice sound when it’s done. It is very convenient to have all the controls at the center, in between the washer and the dryer. Overall, very good quality. My whole family is happy with it.

We purchased this unit to give us more room in our very small laundry room and at only 27 inches wide it is a true space saver. The middle control panel is great, however, it only has limited settings on it so If you want to access all the settings you have to go on-line to download them. The black steel finish is really stylish and contemporary but it does show hand/ fingerprints which cause constant cleaning if you dislike seeing fingerprints. In hindsight the white would have been better to hide the prints. The bottom wash tub is a little low and often clothes are stuck to the top or sides of it so you have to really bend and at times hand spin the tub so the clothes drop or come to the bottom of the wash tub. The dryer is not a problem to see the clothes. Pay close attention to how you load this machine or it can become unbalanced. The doors are fixed and swing from right to left. I immediately noticed that my clothes seem cleaner and not as beat up compared to my old agitator style washer. The regular price is a little high for this unit but if you watch the sales you can save a few hundred dollars.
