The most quiet washer I've ever used
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a very well performing washer. As other reviewers have stated, it is very quiet. My only criticism is the dispenser drawer often has a lot of water in it after the washer has finished rinsing and spinning and has turned off. Also, for some reason it no longer plays the brief melody when I turn it on or when it finishes and right before it shuts off.

Glad I chose this LG Washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had this Washer a couple of weeks but so far its been great. Its very quiet and easy to use, I like the touch pad controls and it uses very little water. I looked at all the Washers in this price range and this one had the best reviews so I bought it and have been satisfied with my purchase. I always buy from best buy to get the rewards so I didn't check other stores, but I'm always happy with what I buy from them.

Takes longer to run cycles
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cleans well and relatively straightforward to use. It does, however, take longer to run the same cycle that I ran on my Kenmore washer (+20 mins).

LG CLEANS AND ROCKS NOT LIKE LAST MACHINE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This LG washer is an outstanding machine! Quiet and super cleaning of clothes is it's high points..........the wife first front loader so a new adjustment to make; must get the pedestal otherwise you will be om your knees. My wife is Korean so consulted some relatives and they advised to get LG over Samsung appliances.........so I did with no regrets. Don't get the Steam gimmick machine!

Highly rated by Consumer Reports - it's awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer is awesome! I opted to go with this model based on Consumer Reports rating - and I wasn't about to pay an extra $150 for the model above it since it just added wifi. Who needs wifi on a washer? Definitely not me. But all of the cycles work well and clothes get clean. Plus it holds more than enough for me.

Lower price and works as well or better
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For a washing machine, I find it quite handsome. It operates very quietly and the little "jingle" for end of cycle is so much more pleasant than the hideous noise older machines make. I only use cold water so this machine is designed for that. Only problem is it runs a much longer cycle on cold, like 3 hours for a heavy load. It also has settings for towels and sheets which I have not used yet; not sure how long that cycle will run but I am sure it will do a great job. It also has a cycle for cleaning itself. Also, the drain filter is located on the front of the machine which makes it much simpler to clean on a regular basis which is important to keep things smelling right. Considering the price of other machines, I am very pleased that this one was more reasonable and was definitely worth it.

Good, but takes some getting used to
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Still getting used to this machine. I've never had a front loader before. Not sure I prefer it, though many people told me it's the better design. I do like the fact that this machine is very quiet, supposedly uses less water, and definitely uses much less detergent. It seems to clean well, which is what counts, but it's computerized, so it's pre-set for times depending on what cycle you choose. The amounts of time for most cycles, including "normal" seem ridiculously long. I've decided to do most laundry on "delicate" no matter what I'm washing because it's the most reasonable amount of time--and even that is too long as far as I'm concerned. My old, but dying, 25+ year old machine did a wash in about 35 minutes. This thing wants to take at least 45 minutes and up to 90 to do the same job, unless you choose "speed wash," which is only 15 minutes, which seems too short to me. I wish you could opt to select your own amount of time no matter which cycle you choose. To be honest I chose this machine largely because of size, and even then it was a challenge getting through my doors, one of which had to be removed. This reveiw requires a yes or no in terms of recommending this machine. My true answer would be "it depends," neither yes nor no.

Highly recommended
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The washer is quiet and efficient and gets the clothes very clean. Front loaders have several advantages over top loaders and this model is proof: it’s gentle on clothes and it doesn’t lose socks! You just have to be very careful about keeping it clean and the door and rubber rings dry and clean.

Great Choice Washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow what a difference with this machine that is practically 100% vibration free. My prior machine shook the room horribly. This machine spins almost all the water out of the clean clothes that will now take less drying time. Very quiet, almost forget it is on. Cute little tunes when finished.

Great Value and Cleaning Performance
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer is a great value. We are extremely happy with its cleaning performance and ease of use. Love the magnet that keeps the door slightly propped open for ventilation between loads. Keeping it simple and being realistic about the settings we would actually use saved our family over +$250.

Modern features, yet simple to use.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for something simple. I did not need all the fancy features and complicated bell and whistles. This machine checks all the boxes. Gets the job done and terrific price point. Quiet machine. My washer/dryer is exposed in the hallway, so it's also aesthetically pleasing. I have the matching dryer.
