I bought this machine (which was highly rated by a consumer magazine) from Best Buy because I have purchased all of my major appliances from Best Buy. The best part is: Best Buy still does price matching and matched the sale price of a nearby big box store. Customer service was excellent. The machine was delivered within a week of service. The other guys? Well maybe we can squeeze you in three weeks later. The LG washer lives up to its reviews. Performs as I expected. I can see why it was highly rated.

Washer works great, easy to use. Didn’t need steam or WiFi, this washer just does a good job at washing clothes. Very quiet. Wash cycles are long, but seems to be gentler on clothes and leaves clothes a lot dryer than our previous front load washer.

Finally upgraded my washer to this LG one. It was on a great sale along with the dryer for $1200 together. Yes, the washer runs a little longer but it uses less water. I've seen a significant drop in my water bill. It gets the clothes clean in one try. Very easy to use. Overall really impressed with this LG washer.

This machine works really well. Spin cycle is very smooth and spis extremely fast. It’s also very quiet. The only takeaway is having to dry the seal, but it’s not a deal breaker at all.

We bought this washer for black friday and my wife loves it. It is very quiet and she says it cleans very well. I am surprised at how little noise it makes, seems to be good quality given that now a days things dont seem to last very long. Hopefully it will be a good washer for many years.

Our 14-year-old LG washer gave up the ghost and we purchased a new LG W/D set. The washer has so many features... Most of them don't matter to me, but my wife loves them! It's 4.5 Cu Ft capacity is a huge increase over our previous unit and now washes comforters, etc. with ease. Our only concern is that it seems to 'bang' more than or previous LG washer did when a load is 'out of balance'. It quickly adjusts and the 'banging' stops, but since it happens so often, the noise is annoying. Our loads of laundry are the same type/size of loads we did previously, so we know we're not overloading it. NOTE: the comforter didn't bang when we washed it - go figure... overall we're very happy with it and hope we can figure out the momentary banging.

When I first had this delivered I didn't think it was working right. I called customer service and had a very difficult time. First they were just going to replace it but their technicians wouldn't touch it since I had an older dryer sitting on top. So I called in again and they finally sent someone out who was great and showed me how to use the washer. That was all I needed. Unfortunately I kept getting calls and messages that my new washer was ready and a work order to replace my dryer.

We love the quality, no shaking, super quiet. The 4.5 Cu. Ft. model has plenty of drum space. Fair price. Am hoping that 10 years from now parts will still be available... not like the manufacturer of our last front load washer, Samsung.

Reliable workhorse (been a few months so far). The wash cycles are fairly quick. They use very little water. This machine is much quieter and stable than our old Bosch washing machine even during the fast spin cycles at the end. There's a few design choices that could be improved. - There is no memory for the wash settings. So each time you switch it on, you need to change the settings to match the last time again. - The delay timer is not very intuitive to set up. When the delay button is pressed, it is not clear if the Start button needs to be pressed afterwards or if it will start by itself.

basic washing machine. no extras such as steam. little bit loud.waiting to see if water bill goes down compared to top loder that it replaced. too early to tell how durable it is.

Very happy so far. We installed this in a beach rental condo. We like the simple easy to understand and use controls. "The Knob". We think our guest will really enjoy this large unit verses the mini apartment size it replaced.

Great capacity and does a good job drying loads. Very quiet operation. The sensor dry not perfect as it does have a tendency to leave some clothes slightly damp.

We've owned this machine for a month and a half and have pleased with its performance. It can do a standard basket of mixed clothes in stride. Does a reasonable job of washing clothes in its cold wash cycle. It tells you how long it will take and makes a musical sound when it is complete -- much less jarring than the loud buzzer our old machine made. This front loader has to be unloaded carefully or clothes will spill onto the floor. On top of its the pedestal the height for loading and unloading is much less of a strain than the top loader we used to have. After the washing is done, keeping the door open while the dryer is at work ensures that the interior doesn't stay too damp. Otherwise there is visible water droplets on the cover.

I purchased this because my previous one, which lasted me about 13 years, finally needed repair. Since my previous one was an LG and I loved it, I went with a similar model and have not been disappointed. It's easy to use and does a wonderful job.

What an upgrade. I replace a top loading machine with this one and the results are great. Quiet and efficient, the clothes come out almost dry. I love it.

This is a really great washer. It holds a lot more than the previous front loader I had. Once we got to understand how to use it, we've found it to be really good. Almost silent too, can hardly hear it's working. Clothes come out clean and almost dry on the high spin. Love it.

Washer cleans very nicely. More vibration than I'd prefer but clothes are washed well and spins out much more water than old washer, makes it much easier to dry.

Had been suffering through a top load washer. This front loader is easy to use, does a great job getting clothes really clean and seems to be very gentle on clothes. Everything my top loader did not do! Live the ease of selecting temp, wash cycle etc.

Easy to use, great product. Purchased one year ago. Works great. Simplicity is very important to me. Plenty of different programs . Improved detergent drawer

Does not have all the options of a machine we got 5 years ago for less money but it is quiet and cleans clothes well. We had a problem early on but an LG technician came quickly and fixed it at no charge.
