Very good washer, quiet and use minimal water to clean the clothes good. The clothes are barely damp after spin cycle which means less time drying. The wash cycles are longer than usual but that’s a minor detail in comparison to all the other wonderful features. My sister loves her new LG washer, it cut her laundry day shorter with its larger capacity and can now wash her king size bedding set at once and not have to take comforter elsewhere to wash when she had an old top loader with agitator.

When my 13-year LG old washing machine became unreliable. I decided the cost of repairs might not be a saving if the older machine were to fail soon in some other way. Newer machines had steam and WiFi features, but I selected the one most like my old LG washer. I bought one with a brighter display because there were mixed reviews on the darker display panel. To my amazement, the new LG machine cleans even better than my old LG, and is it so much quieter with no unbalanced load noises. It spins the clothes that less dryer time is needed.

Generally please with the washer so far, seems to get clothes very clean and spun well in preparation for drying. Only issues I have that limits from being 5 star are the length of the various automatic cycles. They seem unreasonably long. However if you're in a hurry or just want to use the Speed Wash setting, it lasts just 15 minutes or so. 15 + year old LG Tromm washer we had previously would run a 30 minute Speed Wash cycle. Maybe the new one cleans just as well as old, but I have to question how effective the wash and rinse cycles are going that quickly. The long delay it does when starting an automatic cycle as it measures size of the load is a bit irritating, but not a big issue. As long as it lasts 15+ years like the old one I won't care about these items in the end.

Great washer for the price, leaves clothes super clean. Spin cycle does good job at getting most of the water out of the clothes before going in the dryer. Overall its pretty quiet and easy to maintain as well.

My Samsung took a dump after 7 years, repair guy told me to throw it out and get a LG washer. The Samsung was all shiny but glitchy most of the time with the rinse cycle, if you have dogs that shed check that filter on the front lower left of the machine. Mine plugged and blew out the pump and fried out the main panel. My new LG runs quiet, cleans well and the filter seldom has any hair in it so the machine seems to be made better.

Very nice washer for the price. Very quiet and easy to operate. Minimal water noise and nice running through all the cycles including the spin cycle. I ran several wash loads right away including my comforter. The performance was outstanding and smelled cleaner than before. The soap and softener dispenser are easy to fill and read fill lines. Next I filled the tub to the max with clothes and towels to see how it performs with a heavy load. Ran just as smooth without any problems.

4-stars for only one reason....other reviewers have mentioned a smell from the washer. Yup, confirmed, it has a smell. This is NOT a musty, mold smell --I have owned front-load washers before and learned to always leave the door ajar and I've had the unit for only a month, this smell was present from day 1. It is a machine oil or something from the manufacturing process. It is a metallic / oil / machine-y smell. I did use a dose of the Afresh brand refresher tablets specifically for front load washers. Helped for the next wash but smell has returned. Has be something on the internals of the unit. Don't know what this is, is kind of concerning and annoying, however, if use fabric softener and dryer sheets the smell does not come out on clothing. Beyond that strange issue, this thing is top notch. Great value for the spend, uses MINIMAL water and overall is extremely quiet. I do need a shim or adjust the feet as is not quite perfectly level so it slightly rocks on the spin cycle -- not an issue of the unit is an issue of my floor! The user guide sucks, had to watch some YoutTube videos learn about all the functions. But, I am a single guy so most all my wash I run on Normal, Tap Cold so until the girlfriend decides she wants to run laundry here 90% the functions are lost on me. I did use the Bedding setting and yes my sheets and duvet cover turned out real nice. Yes, I recommend this product simply be aware of the odd machine-type odor. Again, odor is not on my clothes is simply kind of a stanky smell with the machine.

We purchased this model to replace a 10+ year old top load Kenmore Elite washer. It is amazing how efficient and quiet this new washer is, especially during the high spin cycle. It is truly a great replacement. Front load model does require to wipe off the extra small amount of water leftover after the cycle is completed to avoid getting dirty, but it is not a big issue. Best buy purchase and delivery experience is top notch as well. The delivery and install only took 20 mins. Price match and Cal water rebate worked as well to lower the total purchase cost. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

Purchased this on sale two months ago and wow, love the ease of use and the crazy amount of options for washing clothes. Does very well with bedding including my pillows. Also has a speed wash that cleans well in less than 20 minutes. BestBuy installed the machine (also lifted it to the third floor of my townhouse) in no time. Also, the chime noise this machine does is both pleasing but travels far. I'm able to hear when the washer is done from the first floor even though it is located on the third floor. Very spacious and easy to load and unload clothes. Would definitely recommend.

We previously had owned the same version. When the motor bearings went, we shopped for a while, but found that this machine for the price and with the features was still the best fit for us. We're on a water well, so water consumption of the top loading machines meant a front loader was better. This machine has a quick wash feature that does a great job, 15-17 minutes, done. This machine is really very quiet. Make sure if you do take the time to level the machine. For deeper cleaning we use normal cycles. Because of the electronics do consider the extended warranty, get the 3yr if you are going for it. We hope to not need that. Our previous machine lasted 5 years.

Bought this washer as a set with the LG Gas Dryer with FlowSense (WM3400CW). Washer is super super quiet. You won't be able to tell it's running unless you look at suds in the window. Super easy to use even for my 91 year old father. Great features for the price. Can throw in large comforter and multiple jeans with no issues. Also, make sure to get your rebate from your utilities company. Huge savings there. Aside from an initial balance problem, no issues since. Great washer for the price.

It's been great. We didn't get steam settings as we don't use them. It's so quiet. We previously had an LG. I think there are things we aren't crazy about like the lighted knob kind of makes it difficult to see what setting it's on. The spin cycle is so smooth. Door doesn't need much to shut. I think we wore door out on old one. We had old one for 9 years. They added a bedding setting too.

Did a lot of research before buying. This was a model that got good reviews from an experienced appliance technician who has worked on many machines over the years. He completely disassembled it in one of his reviews and was impressed with the build quality. It is basically the same model he gave a strong buy recommendation to without the WiFi features. Got it on sale at a great price. Spent the entire weekend doing laundry when it was first installed. Cleaning performance along with water/energy consumption are very impressive for the price point. Barely noticed any increase in my utility bill. It has cleaned things from my laundry that have not come out with other models. Seems to like the various detergents i have used so far. I use a lot less in most cases and still get great cleaning. I read reviews of noise levels and honestly do not know what they are complaining about. Some of the high speed spin cycles generate a more noticeable sound but it’s still fairly quiet in my opinion. The laundry options are more than adequate for my needs, others may want more features. There are a few wash cycles that can get excessively long but I don’t use them often and there are ways to adjust that with the settings. My thought is those are a result of the machine weighing the loads and optimizing the soap/water usage for efficient cleaning. I always leave the door open to air out after the load completes. Pleased with my purchase so far.

It works pretty well, fits in a tight, snug spot. The only thing i dont love is that regular washes are 90 minutes automatically, no matter the load size and sometimes it will go beyond that. My mother had a bigger version of this that would be 35-60 minute wash depending on load size and wouldnt adjust to make it longer. It once took 5 hours to finish one medium size load. I dont know how that is energy saving but okay. I had mine professionally installed so no problems in that aspect. If i had more space, I would have gotten the bigger one with the silencing of signaling its done, and smaller wash times.

So far so good. The door is pretty wet at the end of each load, but I just keep a hand towel handy and wipe it down when I am done for the day. It is very intuitive and seems to do a good job of cleaning. I had always had a top loader so it seemed foreign at first, but I am used to it now & saving water.

Although my previous LG front loading washer lasted only 6 years, it was due to running several loads daily with 5 adults in the house. The capacity is great, and the efficiency and ease of use is outstanding. I have this and the companion front loading dryer sitting on the pedestal drawers, which provide nice storage for dryer sheets and miscellaneous supplies. I highly recommend this unit.

The washer operates well and very quiet. Since replacing my 15 year old washer and dryer I love how my clothes come out so clean and virtually dry due to the 1,300 rpm spin cycle. I have to say is this washer does NOT come with wifi capabilities to manage the washer using the App other than that I love it. That was a costly mistake I over looked when I was comparing multiple washers and their features, cost, etc. In addition, it is very easy to overload the washer and become out of balance so I have use good judgment for how many clothes you should put in for a load and properly load the amount heavy and light items. There is a small learning curve for anyone coming from old agitator/top loader washers to front loader. I was able to wash a king size comforter as well as two large pillows without any problems. I did had a huge problem just trying to wash a single pillow with some other items; nevertheless, I was warned about this in the manual. The washer became out of balance and would not complete the cycles without removing the items and add a second pillow to balance the load and restarting the wash cycle.
