Bought this washer as a set with the LG Gas Dryer with FlowSense (WM3400CW). Washer is super super quiet. You won't be able to tell it's running unless you look at suds in the window. Super easy to use even for my 91 year old father. Great features for the price. Can throw in large comforter and multiple jeans with no issues. Also, make sure to get your rebate from your utilities company. Huge savings there. Aside from an initial balance problem, no issues since. Great washer for the price.

Did a lot of research before buying. This was a model that got good reviews from an experienced appliance technician who has worked on many machines over the years. He completely disassembled it in one of his reviews and was impressed with the build quality. It is basically the same model he gave a strong buy recommendation to without the WiFi features. Got it on sale at a great price. Spent the entire weekend doing laundry when it was first installed. Cleaning performance along with water/energy consumption are very impressive for the price point. Barely noticed any increase in my utility bill. It has cleaned things from my laundry that have not come out with other models. Seems to like the various detergents i have used so far. I use a lot less in most cases and still get great cleaning. I read reviews of noise levels and honestly do not know what they are complaining about. Some of the high speed spin cycles generate a more noticeable sound but it’s still fairly quiet in my opinion. The laundry options are more than adequate for my needs, others may want more features. There are a few wash cycles that can get excessively long but I don’t use them often and there are ways to adjust that with the settings. My thought is those are a result of the machine weighing the loads and optimizing the soap/water usage for efficient cleaning. I always leave the door open to air out after the load completes. Pleased with my purchase so far.

My Samsung took a dump after 7 years, repair guy told me to throw it out and get a LG washer. The Samsung was all shiny but glitchy most of the time with the rinse cycle, if you have dogs that shed check that filter on the front lower left of the machine. Mine plugged and blew out the pump and fried out the main panel. My new LG runs quiet, cleans well and the filter seldom has any hair in it so the machine seems to be made better.

It's been great. We didn't get steam settings as we don't use them. It's so quiet. We previously had an LG. I think there are things we aren't crazy about like the lighted knob kind of makes it difficult to see what setting it's on. The spin cycle is so smooth. Door doesn't need much to shut. I think we wore door out on old one. We had old one for 9 years. They added a bedding setting too.

We previously had owned the same version. When the motor bearings went, we shopped for a while, but found that this machine for the price and with the features was still the best fit for us. We're on a water well, so water consumption of the top loading machines meant a front loader was better. This machine has a quick wash feature that does a great job, 15-17 minutes, done. This machine is really very quiet. Make sure if you do take the time to level the machine. For deeper cleaning we use normal cycles. Because of the electronics do consider the extended warranty, get the 3yr if you are going for it. We hope to not need that. Our previous machine lasted 5 years.

So far so good. The door is pretty wet at the end of each load, but I just keep a hand towel handy and wipe it down when I am done for the day. It is very intuitive and seems to do a good job of cleaning. I had always had a top loader so it seemed foreign at first, but I am used to it now & saving water.

The washer operates well and very quiet. Since replacing my 15 year old washer and dryer I love how my clothes come out so clean and virtually dry due to the 1,300 rpm spin cycle. I have to say is this washer does NOT come with wifi capabilities to manage the washer using the App other than that I love it. That was a costly mistake I over looked when I was comparing multiple washers and their features, cost, etc. In addition, it is very easy to overload the washer and become out of balance so I have use good judgment for how many clothes you should put in for a load and properly load the amount heavy and light items. There is a small learning curve for anyone coming from old agitator/top loader washers to front loader. I was able to wash a king size comforter as well as two large pillows without any problems. I did had a huge problem just trying to wash a single pillow with some other items; nevertheless, I was warned about this in the manual. The washer became out of balance and would not complete the cycles without removing the items and add a second pillow to balance the load and restarting the wash cycle.

Although my previous LG front loading washer lasted only 6 years, it was due to running several loads daily with 5 adults in the house. The capacity is great, and the efficiency and ease of use is outstanding. I have this and the companion front loading dryer sitting on the pedestal drawers, which provide nice storage for dryer sheets and miscellaneous supplies. I highly recommend this unit.

    Great Economical Washer

I have washed four loads with this dryer: whites, permanent press, towels, and bathroom rugs. After reading reviews, I opted to use Quick Wash. I also used a limited amount of laundry detergent that still got all of my items very clean. I pressed the extra rinse button three times for extra rinsing. By not using the normal function, I could use all of available adjustments. I added white vinegar to the fabric softener compartment during the second rinse cycle to ensure no soap residue was left on my items. The washer is so quiet that I frequently checked it to make sure it was still running. My previous washer's shortest wash-rinse cycle was 41 minutes. This washer was a bit more than half that with the three additional rinses and the items were very clean. This is the best washer I have ever owned. It operates efficiently, quietly, and economically. I strongly recommend it.

Great machine, does large loads easily. Door however does not shut properly have to slam it so it latches. Will reach out to Best Buy, but not looking forward to all the crap I’ll go thru to get the door adjusted. Should have been adjusted at delivery. Slight water leak at connection I tightened by hand to stop, they had no time for either during delivery. Machine is great, works well, easy to use. Best Buy delivery and install sucked. You gotta care, they didn’t.

This washer has been very good at cleaning clothes so far. The short 15 minute cycle works really well with clothes that aren't super dirty. It's very quiet and does not vibrate too much. Only issue is the heavy cycle takes at least 3 hours

It works pretty well, fits in a tight, snug spot. The only thing i dont love is that regular washes are 90 minutes automatically, no matter the load size and sometimes it will go beyond that. My mother had a bigger version of this that would be 35-60 minute wash depending on load size and wouldnt adjust to make it longer. It once took 5 hours to finish one medium size load. I dont know how that is energy saving but okay. I had mine professionally installed so no problems in that aspect. If i had more space, I would have gotten the bigger one with the silencing of signaling its done, and smaller wash times.

Great price for a great product. Bought this to replace our Samsung Top load that kept having problems with "Uneven" load alarms. Called a repair man out and he highly recommended a front loading LG. So we bought this and have been very happy with it so far. Simple to use and holds a decent amount of clothes.

Great washer, but you have to remember to 1) always keep the door open to let air in. Otherwise, the washer reeks of mildew. 2) don't leave clothes in the washer for more than a few hours. Otherwise, the clothes smell like mildew. If you follow these rules, the washer works great.

I have had this washer since 2020. I have had to get this serviced 4 times after three years of having it. It leaks, plain and simple. It leaks a lot. I just fixed one issue about a month ago and guess what. It’s leaking again. I’m thankful I got a washer, but I wish I got a different one because it just leaks. Note: I do have a big family since 2022 we’ve had a household of seven. I do laundry constantly. Everyday or every other day. I do probably 20 loads a week. I’ve maintenance the washer every month. Cleaning it. I only use the recommended amount of detergent 2 tablespoons. Vinegar for softener. It does clean the clothes. I’ve ruined clothes too with detergent stains but it could have been user error. Over all I wouldn’t recommend to people or you guys. Won’t repurchase this company whenever we are looking for another washer. Dryer is great though lol never had a problem.

Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with the LG Washer (WM3400CW) model. We understand your concern about dealing with continuous leaks, especially when you have a large household and do laundry so frequently. We strive to provide high-quality products that exceed our customer's needs and expectations. We recommend the following troubleshooting steps to help identify the root cause of the leaks: Over time, the door seal (gasket) can develop small tears or lose its integrity, which can lead to leaks. Inspect it closely for any signs of wear or damage. If you find any issues, it may need to be replaced. Since you’ve had multiple service visits, it’s possible that a hose or connection may be improperly secured, causing intermittent leaks. Double-check that the inlet hoses and drain hoses are tight and properly connected. If the drain pump is clogged or malfunctioning, it may cause water to leak out of the washer during or after cycles. Make sure the drain pump filter is clean and free from any debris that might be obstructing water flow. If these troubleshooting steps don’t resolve the issue, we recommend reaching out to us via @LGUSSupport on social media. Our team can help schedule another service visit or explore other solutions. We want to get this resolved for you, so you can continue to enjoy your dryer without the hassle of the washer’s ongoing leaks. ^Juvy LG

These units are amazing, they get the clothes cleaned super fast and efficient especially if you're in a time crunch. Only issue we have had with them is they are kind loud at times it seems like if the loads get unbalanced at all but other than that we love this washer and dryer. Would definitely recomend to anyone looking for high end units at a very reasonable price.
