    Love My New Washer!

I did a LOT of research before ordering. I looked at a similar washer by another maker but it had quite a few negative comments. So far, I love my washer. I did all my bedding using the steam cycle. No problem with the big loads. I like the magnetic door feature that keeps the door ajar. The installation team was on time, efficient and polite. I would the braided steel hoses to replace rubber ones that come with the washer. Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Clean, Lots of Features, High Quality

We have a limited space for our washer and dryer and found the LG WM4370HKA was the largest washer that would fit in the area we have. We were told that it would wash a King Size Comforter by our salesman Nick Brumfield, AND HE WAS RIGHT! My wife washed ours the second day after our washer was delivered and it cleaned it perfectly! Also, all our other clothes seem to be getting cleaner and the washer uses a lot less water that our old top loader.

We purchased a new LG washer after many years of a good experience with our first one, that the new owners of the home we sold in San Diego get to continue to enjoy. Our new one will be easier to keep clean and will continue to enjoy all the options to select from when doing laundry. We have selected again, to purchase the pedestal so we don't have to bend over. I like the size of it, so I can easily wash bed linens, blankets, and a nice size load of clothes.

This washer had very good ratings from Consumer Reports and on Best Buy's website. It has a lot choices/settings and so therefore versatile however the clothes don't dry nearly as well as my previous Frigidaire. It might be energy efficient in regards to water however they take longer to dry. However I read other reports and it doesn't seem to be a big deal. I do like LG products and this one was closest matching my dryer. I don't know if it's the washer but my clothes don't smell as clean even though I haven't changed any laundry detergents. It is spacier (4.5 cu ft) compated to 4.3 cu ft which makes a lot difference in size.

After years of thinking that top load washing machines were the way to go,(also hating my last top loader), I choose this LG washing machine and have never looked back. It performs so well, is easy to use and practically programs itself. My only complaint is that sometimes heavy loads come out somewhat damp; not sure why.

Huge drum, efficient machine, great settings

This machine would be great for a family - the drum is HUGE and can take massive loads. It's super efficient and has a good number of pre-programmed wash settings. Only drawback with such a large drum is that you need to build up a big load to get enough agitation going within the machine for a proper wash. Not a problem for families, but for the two of us it can take a bit of time for enough laundry to build up. I'd still recommend this though.

We have been using this machine for a month now; so far so good. It washes well with plenty programs to choose from. I really like that it is quiet. The beautiful design is a plus. Overall, I am very happy with this machine. I wipe down the door seal, leave the detergent drawer and the door open to dry after each wash to prevent molding.

BOUGHT THIS WASHER AND WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE FRONT LOAD WASHERS COMPARED TO THE TOP LOAD. AFTER MY WIFE CONVINCED ME, I DO NOT REGRET IT. THE DESIGN IS AMAZING AND EASY TO USE. VERY QUIET AND OUR LAUNDRY MACHINE IS NEXT TO OUR MASTER BEDROOM. KEEP THE DOOR OPEN AFTER WASHES FOR A LITTLE AND WIPE THE RUBBER WITH A CLOTH AFTER EACH USE AND YOU WILL BE FINE!

I replaced my Whirlpool Duet (after only 5 years) for this one. The Sales person assured me it would last longer than 5 years. It is much quieter except it was not leveled properly during installation. Otherwise, very pleased with it.

Trying to find more to wash. Nice to have a big drum. So quiet. Doesn't get off balance. Work clothes seem to get clean. Must be turning to the right setting and pushing the right buttons. Chimes when done. Relaxing to wash. Put red pepper on the kitchen rags and washed twice. Maybe didn't get the right setting the first time.

Great washing machine, very quiet and economical

Pros: very quiet wash and spin; uses much less water than top loader but retains option to add garments; no vibration or movement when spinning due to the heavy weight of the machine. The machine has 2 hand holds on both sides to allow it to be moved which is not easy to do pushing from the front. Make sure you lock the adjustable feet locknuts and properly level the machine with a spirit level. LG supply 2 sticky non slip pads for the front adjustable feet to prevent movement which is thoughtful addition. Cons: the hoses supplied by LG do not have 90 degree hose fittings so it is difficult to put the machine close to the back wall. I recommend replacing with stainless steel 90 degree fitting hoses to prevent kinking and save an inch or more on space. This machine is very heavy, trying to get it moved even with the helpful side handholds is difficult from the front. If space is restricted as it is in our condo utility closet, pushing from the front takes a lot of effort as the machine does not slide easily. Also, worth noting when measuring the depth of space you have available, you need to take into account that the door is convex and the glass bows outwards about 2" further than the washer frame, the same for the matching dryer DLEX 4370. which I had not realized when measuring the available space and had to rehang the utility closet doors to prevent touching the machine door.

This washer is so easy to use, has multiple settings for any type of load, and can do really large loads, including blankets and comforters. The turbo settings shortens the wash time, but everything comes really clean. The steam setting is long but great for some loads. Haven't used the sanitize cycle yet but am glad it's available.

This has been a wonderful experience we hadn't gotten a new washer in several years and this one is amazing. I am still learning to use its many features that weren't even available at the time we bought the last one. It is very quite and well balanced.

The washer is very easy to use. It has lots of space to fit tons of clothes and can fit a whole comforter with no problem. This cleans my clothes nicely and has a lot of different settings that I enjoy to use depending on what load I am running.

The big issue with us was the door was not switchable so it must be placed on the left hand side of the dryer, which created a real problem of installation. we purchased the platform to go with this system which makes it very convenient to use.

This LG washer has high capacity; it handles big loads of mixed clothing or large bedding items. Multiple settings allow you to customize length & intensity of wash. Machine uses right amount of water for each load. Clothes are well cleaned.

I have had this a few weeks, and it does a good job. The only problem I had was with left over soap suds near the door seal. I have had front loaders before, and have always used HE with no suds left over. A helpful LG support representative told me I am using to much soap. He recommended using less than the amount recommended by the detergent manufacturer if I still had leftover suds at the recommended level. My clothes seem to be coming at clean with little or no left over suds using the reduced amount of detergent. I do wonder if this problem is why the machine offers up to 3 additional rinses on some cycles.
