This us my second LG frontloader. My first one lasted over 20 years! I love the advanced features on this one. It washes great - was hoping it would be as quiet as my old one but still happy. Very lucky Best Buy had it in stock...best price over other retailers!

We recently purchased the LG 4.5cu ft 12-cycle front loading smart washer. We like that the door can stay open when not in use to help reduce meldew issues. The machine is meeting all expectations regarding washing clothes as well. excited to try the wi-fi options

I think it's kind of weird that you can't buy a basic washer. 12 cycles? I use two, though I may try the white cycle for the tightly whities. Steam wash? Reports say it does little to nothing and doubles the wash time. WiFi, please, why does a washer need this. And the size if these things, don't get me started! All these stupid bells and whistles is just more crap to break. The motherboard will be the first thing to go and will be just out of warranty and will cost $ 300, at least, to fix. Why can't it just have an on and off switch. I can't believe I had to buy a washer with the potential to be hijacked by the internet........ That being said this washer seems to be working great. I have only had it three weeks, but see no signs of any problems. No "dancing" or heavy vibration. Seems really quiet after listening to the bearing going on the old one for months. Clothes seem clean. Anything with feces on it needs to be washed twice, and yes I had it on heavy soil and extra hot water.

The washer works well, was highly spoken of by several mechanics who should know. However, we bought this to replace the same model that was only ~5 years old. Shouldn't have broken that quicly... the drum got off set and to fix it would have been more costly than replacing. That's why 4 not 5 stars

This washer figures out weight of clothes to determine amount of time to wash and the water to use. I love that... I definitely feel like I am being more eco-friendly by using it. I have not leveraged the Steam option yet and look forward to seeing how it works. So far so good!!

This LG washer replaced a 12 year old LG washer that served us well. This new model has a couple of more program choices and runs quieter. We are satisfied with its cleaning ability after 3 weeks of use about 3 times weekly.

Very impressive machine. Big capacity, great functions and whisper quiet. Replaces a 22 year old Amana top loader who's matching dryer died 9 years ago. Replaced that dryer with an LG and it has been perfect for it's life and is still going strong. You can't go wrong with LG machines.

I bought this Washer a little over one month ago, and I love it!. We bought the pedestals to sit the washer and dryer on, being older I didn’t want to bend over to put clothes in and transfer to the dryer, this option is well worth the money. Love them being elevated! I would make this purchase again.

I purchased this washer and dryer set from BB in March 2020. I’ve had a solid 5 months of heavy use to realize that I absolutely HATE them. They are worthless. I have to rewash loads constantly, even using the 2 1/2 hr extra dirty cycle. First off, it does not use enough water, and you can’t choose to use more. They use as little water as possible and call it efficiency. I call it extra work and time wasted. Also, do not try to use pods in this washer as your clothes will come out with a melted soap pod stuck to a wad of clothes. At first I thought I had done something wrong. Nope, happened a dozen more times before I finally just switched to liquid soap. I gave them two stars for looks and quiet cycles. I also really like the wide mouth. Other than that, they are a waste of money. The washer doesn’t get my clothes clean. After two or three washes of the same load they are mostly acceptable. Who has all day to get one load of laundry done? Not me. As for the dryer, the steam fluff option is a total joke. It doesn’t work. You can use a spray bottle on mist to spray a load in any old dryer and get better results. It’s what I have always done anyway. But my biggest beef with the dryer is that you have to put it on super hot and extend the time to get the clothes to dry. Otherwise the dryer shuts off while the clothes are still damp and then they will get smelly. So you either fry your clothes or wear smelly clothes. I would not take these if they were given to me for free. I spent a lot of time researching and they have great rating for reliability. So now I am stuck with this crummy washer and dryer that will never break down... great... nice to know they are so reliable that I will be stuck with them for such a long time to come. I purchased right before covid shut everything down. And they only give you 15 days from purchase to decide if you like them. So really by the time you get them delivered and installed, you have about 7 or 8 days to return them. And during a pandemic with everything closed and all the chaos that followed with hoarding, that is not very realistic.

Found to be easy to use, mine is in a basement with a light over it so I don't have the display issue but I can see why some people would have problems. My only "issue" has been that it won't stay connected to the wi fi to use any of the app stuff. But I didn't buy it for that....I bought it to clean laundry.

Have had this product for about a month now and it is working as expected. Wash settings take some getting used to from our old machine but that's to be expected. Really like the 15 minute was as it is efficient and clothes are clean! Check back in a year.

The washer does a very good job. We have soft water so needed to adjust the amount of detergent to use. Do not stuff the machine - even with just towels, the rinsing action coupled with the spin cycle sometimes leaves the towels wetter than I would like.

Had an LG top loader at our last house. Hated it it was so noisy you could sit in the media room when it was running. This new front loader is so quiet we are glad it has chimes when cycle is finished or we wouldn't know.

I needed to replace my 14-year-old washer and dryer. The depth measurement for most other front load models would not fit without major remodeling of the space. This model fit, and is highly-rated by Consumer Reports. I am very happy with its performance after a couple of weeks.

This unit offers a variety of cycles for various loads such as bedding and towels in addition to the usual cycles such as normal and delicates. Thoroughly washes out detergents and spins out most of the rinse water so only damp clothes go tot he dryer.

Better than I expected…. The app control is really the best feature. Especially doing the color care selection and having it download to your washer is amazing. Quiet is definitely this machine and the possibilities with clothes care is endless.

This is the first front loading washer I have owned, and also the first LG. It is much quieter than my previous machines, and does a good job. I like having the steam cycle to sanitize towels and sheets. Also, there are many individual settings to use with different clothes. Great washer!

This washer puts the fun into doing laundry. So many cycles, you can even download programs to run for various loads. I like that there is a sanitizing cycle, special one for linens and bedding. Runs quietly and plays a nice little tune at the end :)

Love the LG front load washer. It is easy to load and unload. It is energy efficient using less water. I did purchase the pedestal which raises the machine to the perfect height. The machine is large so my advice is to measure your space and the size of the washer before purchasing it.

Cleans great, very gentle on clothes, less noisy than previous units. The WiFi integration is fantastic. Unit tells you anytime there is an issue or it need maintenance. Would have never thought having my washing machine email me would be useful but its amazing.
