I don’t think it washes like a commercial type front loading washing machine. It uses very little water I’ve used it several times now and in different washing cicles but never seen soapy water through the window. Also, it takes way too long to wash. A normal cicle takes 1 hour and a heavy cicle takes two hours. Doesn’t handle bulky things well since it would feel an imbalance when spinning and stop and then try to rebalance and tries again. Also, the touch panel is unresponsive at times you have to take it very slowly with it, as well as the dial button to choose between cicles.

Cleans clothes great but there are a couple of issues. First and most annoying is the drain hose is shorter than my previous LG washing machine. For most people that isn't a problem, but for my house, it needs to be longer as the drain pipe is 6+ feet up. This wasn't a problem with my old washer at all and never a consideration as the change isn't mentioned. Nowhere can I find that stated or an easy solution to the problem. The second issue is just the length of cycles. I was excited about the steam clean but to run these cycles make sure you have plenty of time as all are well over an hour.

This LG is not the highest end model but it does a great job of cleaning. Love the fact that I can connect to my phone through wifi and walk away. It lets me know when the load is done. No need to listen for the melody. I know of some brands that don't allow you to change certain temperature settings. I have not found that a problem. Only thing I'm trying to figure out is why sometimes there is water in the dispenser after the wash is done. Maybe user error. I have washed a full size comforter with no problem. With my last washer I had issues where the center would not wash well, this does.

So far this washer has lived up to its description. No problems with any parts or the technology. The spin cycle eliminates all extra moisture - dryer ready. I'm very happy with the purchase and service.

Love this washer so far! Highly rated and lives up to the promise! I have not experienced the problem of a dimly lit display, but we have a well lit laundry room. Very happy with the purchase.

I love this washer, it is very quiet. Connected the wifi to my cell phone and I can start the washer with my phone later. I like the clear door window. Washes the clothes very good.

Front end reminded me of a cockpit of a space shuttle, there were so many choices of what to do. After looking at it for a bit, I found out that it is actually pretty straightforward and easy to use!

I am so pleased with this washer. The issue with water sitting around the door gasket has been resolved in this front load washer. It has great features and settings. Love it!

I really like my new washing machine. It delivers a clean wash without needing any decision making regarding the different options available. However, I would like the option of choosing the amount of time for certain cycles.

Works great, cleans clothes. The notifications on my phone to let me know a load is done are nice. -1 star, as I wish it integrated with other smart home platforms (Smartthings for example)

I believe this is as very good machine and it is worth the money I spent on it. The machine is quiet when running and it weighs the clothes. It is not hard to use if you are shown or read the directions.

I like my new LG washer, wash my clothes very clean, just smells rubber after washing, but when I finished washing, I just open the door, so not smell anymore.

While our old washer sounded like a jet breaking the sound barrier- this washer is very quiet and intuitive to use. I like how little water it actually uses. Very energy Efficient.

Very quiet. Good features. LG makes great washers and this entry level model is well priced and has all the basic features you need. This was eligible for a $400 CA DWP rebate and $50 Gas Company rebate.

Cleans really well. Love the different options for delicate or heavy duty wash. My only problem is that it is a bit noisy. I run it at night when all is quite so maybe that is why I hear it more.

This washing machine is so quiet! I also appreciate that it sends a notification to my phone when the washer finishes a cycle since the laundry isn’t near a main living area.
