nice upgrade

I did the installation and everything went smoothly, I didn't have any issues. I do several loads of laundry a week, and while it does take longer to run, my clothes are cleaner than with my previous washer. It's gentle enough I can wash my uniforms in it without having to worry they will get ruined. I am very happy with this purchase, 100% worth the money.

Beautiful washer

My hubby wanted me to upgrade/renew so reluctantly I agreed. LOL! I have to say, I am so glad I did! My old washer couldn't stay open to dry out completely unless the door was wide open. This new one will let the door sit ajar while drying out. Small detail, but I love this! LG is a great brand! Going from white to stainless steel makes it so sleek looking in my laundry room.

Great value, lives up to the ratings

This was my first time buying a washer, rather that relying on a landlord, and I was fairly overwhelmed. Consumer Reports etc. gave this one good ratings, and I jumped at the Fourth of July sale. It's fantastic and seems great value compared with others. It's huge -- I can do double the loads from my previous washer. And the 15 minute quick wash cycle is amazing. No issues or weird quirks. Love it, highly recommend.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.my biggest complaint is w/ the manual - there's more info (3 pp.) on how to do laundry w/ a smart phone than how to actually use the machine in person (one very sketchy page). no explanations at all of the 10-12 cycle options (i.e., what each one does, whe/why to use that particular cycle, etc.) - the machine itself seems to do what it's supposed to - i.e., provide clean laundry - but the manual is pathetic. will be able to better evaluate actual efficacy after at least 3-6 months of use - unfair to evaluate this early in the game

Washer is Fine

I probably prefer the Samsung as this makes a strange low humming sound like wind, though quiet is odd and almost prefer the louder Samsung noise. Is hard to read setting since not backlit as others say and I have to always go through two steps to start a load, need to call why I cant just select temps etc without playing with knobs and haven't figured out using steam yet.Washer is fine but noises are bit strange and Samsung was easier to operate.
