Just a little disappointed in the machine. Washes great, love the different cycles, good looking machine. I think the parts, such as the door, is a little disappointment. Feels like plastic and not a solid door. Feels like it would break easily. I also don't like how much water remains in the door area after a cycle. Need to dry the machine after every use.

Bought this washer to replace a 10 yr old Kenmore washer. I'm so pleased with its ease of use and cleaning performance. It has intuitive controls and cycles to choose for every type of cleaning. I especially like the hygienic clean cycle since my wife is in healthcare and exposed to many different things that we don't want to bring into our house. I can't recommend it enough if you want to get a washer to clean all your clothes.

Cleans great, love the cycles, plays a little song at the end of each cycle. I love the fact that it has WiFi and it notifies my phone when a cycle is done, so that I don’t have to go downstairs and check to see if the washer is still running. I can also put clothes in to be washed later and starting it from my phone - so that it doesn’t have that nasty smell for being in the wash for too long. I’m loving this washer!

Lots of options. It seems to be water saving. Cleans well on all sorts of fabrics. It just is noisier than our previous (older!) top loader. At first, I thought a whole lot of change had fallen out of a pocket! The other challenge is the display screen. The nob for selecting what type of wash is easy to use. BUT, if you want to modify a cycle (change heat, time, etc.) the display panels are on black. They would be very difficult to read in a dimly lit room.

I've had the washer and matching dryer about a week, have done several loads, and really feel like I made a good purchase. The washer operates quietly and smoothly and gets clothes really clean with very little detergent. It has a wide range of settings or you can go with a few most-used ones. Clothes and other items come out pretty dry and somewhat fluffed up--ready for a quicker dry time Great pair of appliances, LG!

We are so happy with our washer, it’s our very first one and we got exactly what we wanted and needed. It fits lots of clothes and yet doesn’t take up too much space in our laundry room. Would recommend to buy a pedestal for anyone taller then me ( 5,2) which we didn’t get and I wish now we did. Overall a wonderful quality washer for a very good price! Would highly recommend .

Quiet, a lot of different settings makes it easy to use and it will definitely wash your clothes.

It took me a while to figure what my washer could do and how to accomplish on how manipulate to get the results that I wanted. I bought this in a hurry when my old washer broke down and I had too many other things to take care of to figure out what I needed, so, I bought the Consumer Reports Best Buy. The Manuel on line gives minimal information, the black background panel with some of the controls are hard to read, the lighted dial gives broad indications and I had a hard time figuring how to put the controls on my iPhone (had to get tech help). Found out I don't need the wifi controls.

This is the first LG product I have purchased and am very pleased with the performance. It is easy to use and very quiet. Other reviews have mentioned lack of lighting on the control panel. This has not been a problem for me. I am especially impressed that the washer drum rotates several times (without water) to determine the size of the load. The amount of water used is based on the size of the load

We are very happy with our new LG washer. It is quiet, does a great job cleaning, and my wife really likes the song it plays when the load is done - as she can now differentiate between when the washer and dryer cycles are complete. The pick-up assistance at the Best Buy warehouse was excellent. Jeff was very friendly and helpful.

Read lots of concerns about the washer shaking too much during the spin cycle but I haven't experienced that at all. Full credit to the installers that did an outstanding job making sure the machine was perfectly level. We still have our last LG washer and dryer in our condo that has had zero problems in the last 10 years. Build quality of the new machine seems just as good as the old one. Only time will tell if the new model is as reliable as the old one. Overall, the machine is quiet, the interface is straight-forward. I haven't used any of the "smart" features yet, so I can't comment on those. Was deciding between this and the newer version and other upgraded models, but this hit the sweet spot as far as features and price. Also love buying from Best Buy... best prices and service. Big Kudos to the Pacific Sales department in Best Buy in Mission Viejo, CA.

Love this machine. Love the direct drive drum since it seems to result in less noise, and tendency for the machine to go one a slight walk-about during the spin cycles. I use the "allergine" cycle frequently and find it to be particularly helpful for my bedding , including my pillows which come out like new after the dryer. Though the drum is only somewhat larger than my old front-loading machine, it allowed me to wash both standard pillows in one cycle. SO very much quieter than my old machine, a 2012 front-loader. I also like the ability to check the filter from up front without having to call a tech every 4 years or so to remove the front panel and flush the filter. I am now able to do that myself, in a proactive manner so that the service call is completely avoided.

This washer cleans well, is quiet and large size to wash bulky items.

Had to replace my 14 yr old LG washer, this one has all the features of my old one, plus more including the steam option. Haven't used that option yet. It is very quiet, no vibration or noise when spinning. Large capacity tub, to accommodate large loads, but handles small ones well also. Plays a nice tune when load is done, instead of buzzer.

Great washer, quite an improvement over the first generation we had prior. Very silent and handles well the loads without bouncing across the room like its predecessor. Also to note, this washer requires less 'soap', so it is even more efficient as it requires less rinse water. Overall, very impressed with this generation of washers.

I love it when this dryer finishes because it sounds off with a proud little chime... sounds like “hey there you humans... I’m over here... with you you clothes in my belly... “ Easy to use, outstandingly white. Fits loads of clothes ( in its Santa belly).
