Good quality washer, quiet. Easy to use. Large capacity

This machine works well. I have no complaints. The positives are that it is very quiet and the wash comes out clean. I like the musical tones and gentle beeps that it makes. The negatives are that it takes at least an hour to do a wash. I have not yet installed the pedestal so I don't know if it will be noisy once it is under the machine.

Had this for a month, no complaints. Washes my clothes well, no odors. Easy to use. My only problem is with the amount of time it is supposed to wash, every wash cycle is different and it doesn’t tell you the time it will take on every cycle. Also have not been able to use the app yet, tried and failed. Overall, excellent washed clothes!

We replace the prior model when broke, it was 10yrs old and we owned if for 5yrs. when it stopped working. So far this one is easier to use, has more wash settings and is quieter. We are hoping this one will last longer than the previous one. It is larger, easier to use and quieter than previous Kenmore and Samsung front loads we have owned.

Had the older model of this machine, (4 years ago) but moved out of state,so bought the same as before. This one is even better! It is easy to use, and can customize almost any setting...It may be hard for some to gt used to the new front leaders, but they are efficient and get the job done!

The size of the closet where my washer and dryer are installed was a limiting factor. With the aid of the Best Buy pre-installation tech I was able to pick the best model for my space. Lots of kudos to the tech who was a so helpful. This model replaced a water saving top loading machine that left all dark clothing streaked with soap residue. I ended that machine's life prematurely because it was so annoying. Washing clothes twice to remove the soap is not water saving. My front loading LG is a dream by comparison. It never leaves soapy residue, or causes my clothing to pill due to the friction of clothing rubbing together. It has many wash settings to choose from. The spin cycle is very effective at removing water, so drying time is less. I am very satisfied with this model. Remember to dry the door and seal after each use to avoid any unpleasant odors. That's an issue with front loading machines in general. I usually leave the front door slightly ajar to ensure it dries thoroughly.

The high efficiency top load washer we had before this one boasted that it dried clothes better than the older styles. However, we felt that it did exactly the opposite leaving the clothes wetter. The old washer made a lot of strange sounds (expected according to the manual) and did not have an end of cycle audible indicator. This washer really does leave the clothes drier than our previous washer and the older technology washers. It's quiet and also has a speed wash cycle which takes about 20 minutes or less. And great that it even has an end of cycle cute audible alert. Advanced technology includes wifi and a steam option for even better cleaning removing allergens. Adding and removing clothes is easy. The older top load was rather deep and presented an issue at times when it came time to remove clothes. Adding detergent and/or other extras is also very easy with the pull out tray. Finally the graphite steel is a very luxurious finish and is a great addition to our washroom. This washer is a definite recommend.

I was leaning towards LG - but, was pushed because this size fit the dimensions of laundry closet in my new townhouse. This machine is easy to operate, and, has done a great job with getting clothes clean. The option to spin at a high capacity saves on the amount of time needed to dry. Very good product.

I can’t believe how clean my clothes are when using this washing machine and it makes me wonder how long my old machine was broken. I was concerned about the panel/lack of back light due to all of the reviews that mentioned it in a negative way but I still purchased this LG washer. I don’t have a problem with the lighting on the panel, I have the light on in my laundry room when I do the laundry and that helps with the lack of the back light. If I’m unsure of the cycle I just look at the water temperature, etc. and am able to determine what cycle the machine is set to. This machine is quiet, has plenty of cycles to choose from and the steam option is a huge plus. Again, I was Leary of trying LG but am so glad I gave them a try!

great side, quiet even on high spin mode. best part is that you can clean the filter real easy in the bottom front. most are in the back you have to disconect, takes about 2 hours this only take 1 minute. nice jog LG wifi mode love it spealty when watching movies.

It cleans the clothes great and is quiet. Im having problems with the bleach holder it does not empty good enough lots of water i have to put a towel in and soak out . design flaw for bleach dispenser. I only wash mostly on reg cycles alot of buttons /cycles i dont use so much . i will be calling having someone check it out

I’m in love with this machine. I had a top loader that lasted 20+ years which is great but I did not know what I was missing. It is quiet, washes clothes great, stains come out, It is noticeably different than my old one in how clean the clothes come out. I also love the chime tone when it’s finished.

I wanted LG bc, my last set was the LG tromm and it lasted almost 15 years. So I went with this set. So far it is great very very silent. The digital reading light is low can barely see, but once you use a few times you will have it memorized and just click it to what you want.

I like the variety of cycles and the steam function. The speed wash is 15 minutes and handy in a pinch. It’s a little louder than my previous washer but has a larger capacity. May have given up some insulation for extra tub room. Pleased with purchase. Hoping for great reliability.

Ok so meant to say on last review put it on the dryer review by mistake. Having to wipe down after a load to prevent mold is a pain. Overall working well but does not clean a queen size comforter. You have to shove it in and results are poor. Other than that this cleans well, much quicker than old unit and is easy to use

This was a replacement for my broken Maytag. Huge difference -whites are brighter without the use of bleach and clothes are cleaner. The machine is quiet. Love the notifications on my phone. Haven't used all of the cycles yet, but I'm impressed with the results so far.

This washer seems so much bigger than my previous washer. This is a quiet machine. Great features such as the steam function. I have pets so I like to sanitize my items. I love the bedding and towel cycle. Does a great job cleaning pet blankets and my bedding.

Super spacious and QUIET...We (nine people in household!) are 8 months into the purchase and absolutely love this machine. It cleans clothes beautifully/as advertised...no regrets!

Bought for my son’s condo. He is in a wheelchair so can’t use them stacked but we mounted on the matching pedestal and height is perfect for him. Works well. Love the cycles available. Not too noisy. Good capacity size. Plan to get a set for myself.

I chose this LG washer because it was highly rated by Consumer Reports magazine and the positive reviews. I also looked at it in person, and the build quality seemed to be better than the competition. In my 2 weeks of ownership, it has done an excellent job of cleaning my clothes, and the steam feature removed stains that my old top loader never did. At the start of the cycle, the washer spins the laundry and intermittently fills with water which is annoying if you have an older home/pipes. It takes a good 10 minutes before the load is wet enough to do any good. I was really looking forward to setting up the end-of-cycle notification on my smartphone since the washer is out in the garage. Unfortunately, LG’s app refuses to run on my rooted Android phone. Not only that, but it does not integrate with IFTTT and some other automation services. I considered purchasing the matching dryer specifically for this feature, but I will just keep my non-smart dryer until LG decides to play nice.
