LG washer and dryers are definitely the way to go. My son ordered his LG washer and dryer in early 2021 where everything was on back order but LG had products in stock. He loves his, so when me and my husband needed new laundry machines, we took our sons recommendation on LG. It seems people have gotten a lemon from every brand out there.. so always a possibility no matter which one you choose. These have been great, and the delivery came on time on the day I chose through BestBuy. They even converted my sons gas dryer to propane. Delivery came with two people that were able to get the machines up the stairs without damaging anything. Machines are stable and level, work very well, and look extremely sharp. These newer machines are impressive and I am totally happy with LG. I didn’t get the geek squad protection because the machines come with pretty good manufacture warranties, and plus I read a lot of reviews that say geek squad refers you to the manufacturer anyways so why waste the extra money?

30 days after use, it's going well. With front load washing machines, regardless of brand, I use a small towel to dry the water from behind the door rubber seal and leave the door open for 24 hours to allow the inside to dry out from the wash to avoid a smell. I have not had any problems with any smell. The wash cycles are great. I have not used all of the cycles yet. I may provide another review update in 3-6 months to upgrade my rating. The machine is quiet.

This replaced a top loader Samsung that was performing erratically in a house recently purchased.. It is also the same model we have used successfully in our previous home. We were happy to see that LG had maintained their high standards and was producing an excellent machine. We are pleased with our decision and its performance. Easy to use, great results. What more can you ask.

This replaced a 22 year old of the same brand and similar model. It's so quiet and it's cleaning the clothes great. The only comment I have is I can't figure out how to make the rinse tempurature cooler. Even when I use the cold cycle, they always come out very warm. On the old machine this was an easy setting to change.

This product is exactly what my family needed. We’ve purchased almost 2 different machines and this one has been the perfect one. We’ve had so far it washes stuff very well. Stains are removed properly. Couldn’t be happy with this purchase.

I like a front load. When my washer died abs could not be repaired due to its age, I selected this LG washer. My wash is cleaner. At 4.5 cu ft the tank is large enough for 2 king sheets and a blanket. It has more features than I may ever use. It is quiet. I am very happy with this purchase. Plus the best buy installers were GREAT. They were fast and efficient. They gave me a lesson on how to use the machine.

I love front loaders because top loaders twist and tear clothing. These are so much more efficient at washing, too. Plus it’s like having your own spaceship

Haven’t had it long but so far enjoying it. Best part is doesn’t move on high spin. Does a good job cleaning. Like the look of machine and it fit my space well. Gave 4 stars as a little loud when filling with water and at a few other cycle times so if this machine is near sleeping areas, you may not want to use at those times; clothes do come out twisted together and some cycles are long. I stick with basic ones for the most part so it’s not an issue. Really don’t need all those cycles. Watch the door closing, make sure you push it in or the machine will error.

We needed to replace our 12 yr old Kenmore and this LG was Consumer Reports top buy. So far so good, getting our clothes clean. It's larger capacity from our older machine means we are doing fewer loads.

This is one fantastic washer... the best that I have ever owned. Quiet, powerful, easy to use, extremely effective. Highly Recommended!

Bought this six months ago and it's still spinning along happily. This is our second LG front loader - had to leave the first one behind when we sold our last house. Bought the first one six years ago; the current one includes minor but noticeable improvements in design and function.

I love this machine! I cannot believe I have had it a year, I wanted to wait to provide a review after using it, but time got away from me. I have not had one issue during this time. I have dogs that cannot seem to keep their hair on, so I am forever cleaning the rubber gasket and draining the water and cleaning the filter/catch 2 to 3 times a week. Not a big deal, super easy.

We have now had this washer for approximately 2 to 3 months. We are very satisfied as we were with our previous LG washer. What we like about this one is that the spin cycle even on high does not move the washer all over the place. I even found the cat laying on top of the washer when it was going and he was not bothered at all. It does not have the same number settings as the previous LG. But it does seem to be more efficient.

I highly recommend the LG Thin Q washing machine. It is quiet, quick and the clothes come out clean and ready to dry. The 4.5 capacity is fine. If you have a large family, then get the 5.0 size.

Just replaced our 20 year old LG front loader, which we also purchased from Best Buy, with another highly rated LG front loader. Installers were very knowledgeable and helpful. Very happy with it. Quiet, fast, and love the varied selection of features.

Overall the washer is working really well. I like that I can add extra rinse and spin to things. I did have a problem just washing 2 older pillows. The spin would start and stop, guessing it could not stay in balance. Looking back on it I should have added a couple smaller blankets in with the pillows. Other than that, it has been washing everything just fine, and faster with less water than my old machine. I have not had a chance to use the steam setting yet so I cannot comment on that. I am glad that I purchased the stand/drawer pedestal l for the washer as it helps to have it a little higher. The only thing I don't like is that the door is tinted so dark that you cannot see inside as it is in use. I would prefer to have a clear door so I can see inside as things are being washed.

I love this dishwasher! So far, so good. It’s quiet. My clothes come out clean. I don’t mind the little maintenance I do to keep it in optimal performance, cleaning the inside rings & leaving cracked open. I’ll take that to not having unclean clothes.

I have used my LG washer and electric dryer for 10 years with no problems or issues. I recently recommended and purchased a set for my newly wed granddaughter for their newly built home. The steam feature on the units is a plus since she is a nurse and will greatly benefit from using steam to help sanitize the scrubs she wears. Front loading units save energy and water and come in ample cubic feet sizes, so this purchase will prove very useful.

After our previous great experience with a LG washer (10 years) we decided to get a new one when we moved. We have not been disappointed at all. The feature set is something to behold ! Cycles seem to run faster than on the old washer and I find that I'm using less detergent as well. Having WiFi capability is just pure awesome. Plus the 10 year warranty on the Direct Drive made this a no brainer purchase.
