Nice compact machine good capacity quiet easy to use

This LG washer replaced my previous LG front loader. I was going to go back to a top loader and different brand due to the smell these have. LG got so many high reviews I decided to stick with them and with a front loader. It was also the best match to my LG dryer. I love the ease of use. Let's hope the new model doesn't have the smell issues as the earlier models.

Love the look of these appliances. The body is smaller than my last washer and dryer, but the capacity is just as large. Pretty quiet too. The technology is amazing! So many options. From washing Teddy Bears to bathroom rugs. It handles them all.

Works as advertised. Love that app shows progress. Large capacity - reduces loads of clothes and fits a king comforter.

I found the washer was power efficient when running, much lower then our old washer. However when it is off it still draws 0.6Watts all the time. I thought the energy star requirement would have been the same for washers as products like TVs. LG and Samsung TV's have a off power usage of about 0.1 Watt as an example. I will say the matching dryer only uses 0.1Watt in standby. The good. The washer seems to really dry out cloth and the super high spin speed. The the cloth will dry in like 15 minutes only in the dryer, That feature is nice. The bad. The manual that comes with the unit does not explain many of the feature/settings and does not cover much at all and it poor written. I found I need to go to the web and find a manual that explained the feature and how to turn off and on features. As an example it was a bit hard to find that you need to hold the spin panel button down for at least 3 second to force the washer to do a spin cycle without doing a rinse too. There are other features not explain in the paper manual that comes with the unit that are only in the web manual.

I have owned this washing machine for about a year now and I am impressed with how well it works. It has many settings and can handle large loads and also delicates. I would recommend it. It is loaded with options.

I use this machine quite a bit working construction and it is handling all of my dirty clothes lol no problems runs quietly

Very happy with the washing machine! Replaced an old Maytag top loader. Plenty of features. Quiet and efficient. Easy to see through the window during rinse cycles if you have added too much detergent, and you may select up to three additional rinse cycles to make sure you're getting the soap out.

The app is wonderful! You're paying a bit of a premium to hook it up to your phone, but having that push notification to know when the washer is done so it eliminates the guessing game is fantastic. This washer is quite heavy, and it was a challenge to bring it down my basement stairs. However, wonderful product, clothes are clean on round 1, spin cycle gets them very dry as well.

CLEANS GOOD AND FAST. EASY TO USE ALSO VERY QUIET.

We purchased the LG 4000 washer and gas dryer, along with the Sidekick for under the washer and pedestal drawer for under the dryer, replacing a mid-2000s pair when the dryer went kaput. I feel like we have a mini-laundromat now! I've used most of the pre-set washer settings including Allergienne for a comforter after a camping trip, which automatically adds the steam function, and am very happy so far. It's also easy to change the defaults such as increasing/decreasing water temp. Both powder and liquid detergent have rinsed well, though I always add at least one rinse due to hard water. The turbo feature does help to remove stains at least for me. I guess a con for some may be the noise level during during higher spins but it doesn't bother me. I haven't set up wifi. This is the best washer I've owned! We went to Pacific Sales in Torrance CA, where invaluable Erika helped us out with this and other purchases during this pandemic. She also set up the Best Buy-contracted installers who were great! They did a good job leveling on top of a Sidekick - no unbalanced loads so far. Highly recommend.

Extremely quiet. Large capacity, spins the laundry really dry on all but gentle cycle.

Quiet and efficient! We love our new washer and dryer. The app is very convenient as our laundry is upstairs and we don't always hear the end of cycle signal. If you get the pedestals it's not much more for the pedestal washer which is really convenient for small or delicate loads

I have just used this for three loads on one day but it worked fine and was somewhat intuitive. Not very noisy, did not "walk" (move in place) as some do. Did a very good washing job. Beware of inept delivery/set up crew - they installed the hoses on the wrong faucets for me - I had to trace the water lines and fix the problem before starting to use the washer.

I love this washer! It's so much quicker than my old one and it does a great job of cleaning. The front loading capacity is great for me and no problem at all! I just always remember to wipe out the lower rim and leave the door ajar for a for minutes if I'm finished doing the wash - it helps the washer dry perfectly.

Haven’t got to use it myself yet but I have been told it works wonderful and has a decent drum size allowing us to do more laundry at a time.

Super quiet, looks great, and washes great. The spin cycles make things almost entirely dry, reducing the need for a dryer. Downsides: the light that shows which mode you are on is difficult to distinguish - it's not always clear which wash mode you have selected.

Our old washer was bought second-hand. So, it’s expectedly not to last that long. Before we got this LG washer, we’re used to hearing loud, shaky, clunky washer. It’s almost like our whole house is going down with our old washer. So imagine our relief and great joy to finally replaced that old thing with this LG washer. With that said, I’m not sure if my review of this LG washer will be totally biased or maybe a little exaggerated. This washer is really great!!! It’s silent (of course not totally silent. But I can have a good night sleep even if I sleep beside this washer-that-kind-of-silence), it’s not shaky and cleans clothes/beddings really well! I love that there’s this turbowash feature. I believe it really helps with removing the dirt. Also, the considering it’s exterior size, the capacity inside is really huge (again compared to our old washer which is the same size as this LG washer). If there’s only one negative comment I have to say is that it doesn’t work with the app such that it tells you the cycles. I thought I can monitor the cycles using the app. But it only has the smart monitoring feature which only lets you know if there are any performance issues (more of technical issues resolutions). Other than that, all hands up to this washer.
