The LG Front Load Washer is okay but not amazing. The black steel design makes my laundry space look modern. The built-in smarts and features make laundry day easier, which is nice. It can handle big loads well. However, it's important to leave the door open after using it to avoid any smells. In general, it's a decent choice for people who want an efficient and smart washer, offering a good mix of style and function.

Has been good for us. Can handle large loads. It has very quiet and efficient.

I bought both the washer and dryer set, and I absolutely love them. They are more quiet than most washer and dryers. Also has the smart dry so it will shut off when it detects that your close are dry, plus the washer also tumbles a little bit on normal mode and lets you know how long it will take for them to wash. That way when you only put in a little. You arent using as much water and it takes less time to wash. Also the dryer has a steam feature to help people like me to make sure that your clothes don't come out wrinkled. Love them and would recommend the set for everyone.

We bought this washer to replace an older Amana top loader that was horrible for actually getting laundry clean. This unit has been a monumental upgrade in terms of how clean our clothes come out. We have two children, one of which of an infant with a spit up problem; needless to say, he generates a constant mountain of dirty clothes and spit cloths. Using the steam clean function gets the smell and stains out every time. My main problem is that it's a noisy washer. First, the water pump closes so fast that it causes some severe water hammer. I haven't yet installed a water hammer arrestor, but I'd go as far as to say it's a requirement with this thing. It's a poorly design pump closure. The second issue is with the spin cycle. For the most part, it's reasonably quiet. However, there's one specific rpm that it hits as it's getting up to full speed that makes a horrendous clunking noise. It's disappointing given the price point and overall decent quality of the unit otherwise.

Great load capacity, runs quiet and offers so many cycle options.

So this was a upgrade from a older LG washer that had the drum bearings go out. It functioned but sounded like a jet engine taking off. Cost to repair would of been a bit over $500 so i went looking for unit to purchase. There were cheaper models available but im quite glad we decided to purchase this. It functions as you woud expect but 2 added features give all the value in the world to me and both the feathers sort of relate to each other. The wifi connectivity and load sensing. You Say WHAT? ill explain. So easy setup/install to replace my preexisting washer. BestBuy did it all and told the old one with them (for a fee,im not a fan of that) And i went thru all the details and set up the washer to connect to wifi and even installed the app on my phone. Wife got home,saw it and approved. In laws and other family came to visit and stay for several days and my mother in law admired the washer and thru a load in. We sat down for a drink before dinner. we heard a audable chime thru the house "whats that" and then my phone buzzed. "Your load is done". All the ladies in the house went into the wash room. Sure enough everything was done. It sensed the load wasnt that big and the load was real fast. You think it couldnt be THAT fast or the items must be really dirty. amazingly enough its zoom quick and cleans better then the old washer we owned. its so quick that i need the app to tell me its done. The wifi app is a real tool and not a gimmick. You have the ability to download customer wash types. like Overnight- Its a normal wash but what it does as when the load is finished it uses something called "freshcare" tumble finished loads of wet laundry for up to 19 hours to keep it from getting musty. as well as other Garment type or wash type settings. A worthwhile purchase for us. and today 5/24 we purchased its sister Dryer to join the family (because its on sale, these things are expensive)

We’ve only had this for about a month. So far, no problems. Setting up was a little tedious because of the cramped quarters. It’s very heavy! Open up the additive drawer and push on the metal top (see picture). Be sure to remove the delivery bolts in the back (was done by the delivery men). Took me about an hour to level the feet. Make sure that they are carrying the load fairly evenly to prevent rocking. WiFi setup was a pain in the neck (especially since I’ll probably never use it) It took a good five minutes to figure out how to set it up for a load (didn’t read the manual) runs quiet. Seems to clean nicely. Spin cycle is very quiet and really gets the clothes dry (medium setting)

It's only been a month or so, but we love it. No complaints so far. It quiet, is high capacity, and cleans everything very well. Lots of available options for wash cycles and very simple to use.

Love this machine! The speed wash feature is great and I love the fact that I'm notified on my cell when the cycle is done because my washer is in a detached garage. Everything comes out clean and it's a much larger capacity machine than my old one. No complaints. Don't forget to take all the shipping materials off the machine though, especially the drum holding bolts.

I absolutely love this washing machine. We had 2 high efficiency top loaders before purchasing this washing machine, and they don’t compare. We purchased this LG washer 2 years ago and haven’t had a single problem. It gets my husband’s very dirty (grease and mud) and 3 children’s clothes so much cleaner than our previous washing machines. I would definitely recommend this LG washing machine. This is my favorite appliance in our home.

I just purchased this washer a few days ago. So far, so good. It works exceptionally quietly compared to my old top-loader, and it cleans pretty well, too.

We had a Samsung washer and dryer stackable. We had nothing but problems for 3 years. Finally decided to change everyone said LG. Well BestBuy made this experience great they had the set we wanted and was deliver in less then a week. Delivery drivers were polite professional and answered all questions. Now to the use of the washer and dryer. Very simple use but the thing I like the most is how quite these are you can not hear them running at all having the APP for them makes knowing they are ready to switch loads nice as well. Highly recommend bestbuy and LG washer and dryer

I'm absolutely thrilled with this LG washing machine! After owning two high-efficiency top loaders, this machine is a game-changer. We got it two years ago, and it's been flawless. It tackles my husband's greasy and muddy clothes along with our three kids' laundry, leaving everything cleaner than ever before. I can't recommend it enough – it's become my favorite appliance in the house!

Purchased to replace a top loader that had died. So glad I purchased this washing machine. Much quieter than my old one. Clothes come out beautifully clean much faster than the old one. They also come out much drier than before.

Fast delivery, easy install, one of the quietest washer I have ever owned. Uses a lot less water (great if you have a well) and items take half the time to dry compared to our old top load washer. Very user friendly washer and app. All the preset settings a normal household would use from Bedding to towels and if you should need more you can use the download function to add it.

This is my initial review but so far I love this washer. The steam feature is actual steam unlike my dryer of a different brand. The machine is very solid and made from high quality parts. It’s also rated really high and that’s why I bought it. The cell phone feature is really nice. I get an alert when my laundry is done. Or I can even start a load from my phone. The washer does take longer than my previous top loading washer but I see how little water it’s using and still getting the clothes clean so it’s no big deal. One feature I love about this washer is the extra rinse cycle. You can set it todo up to 3. I think that’s really nice because I hate having soap in my clothing so I always rinse more than I should. Now it’s using so much less water and still doing a wonderful job. Only con is for the first week the washer smelled like plastic or something like rubber. It went away after many Tun cleans. Other than that it’s been a perfect washer. I’ve maybe done 30 loads.

For about two years, we have been using this washer without any issues so far. I am impressed with LG making the high quaiity washer. We were able to load more clothes in the washer and got good results.

We love our new washer. It is so much quieter than our old one. Haven't used many of the features, but the ones we have used work great. The spin cy le is the best i have seen. It is quiet and we have yet to have to shift clothes during tje spin cycle.

I’ve been using for a little over a month now and really the only reason I purchased this washer is because my old one was this same LG model from 15 years ago and it matched my old dryer which didn’t go out and I was able to use this pedestal. I am a senior 71 years old and my washer & dryer are located in my basement.in the past I was running up and down the stairs to put the clothes in the dryer. I’ve downloaded the app and now I no longer need to run downstairs until my app tells when the washer has stopped. I’m considering purchasing the matching dryer even though it still works. I’m very happy with this purchase and I’ve received my energy efficiency rebate that I applied to the purchase. One thing that really impressed me is we had a real cold day and I got a message that my hot & cold water was not hooked up correctly but I had used it for over 3 weeks and wondered why I was just getting the message. The next day when it warmed up the message was gone. So I assume now if something is wrong I’ll get a message.

This washer is so quiet! I have it on the main floor of our home and it doesn’t shake the house. I like the WiFi features (which I didn’t think I needed) but I love how it sends me notifications when it’s completed. I keep the door open to allow it to dry so it won’t produce mold and mildew like front load washers are known for.
