Very efficient and easy to use! Very quiet compared to my other washing machine!

It actually is fun to wash clothes. It’s quiet, intuitive and cleans anything. Seriously.

I got this washer in April 2020, and I am not sorry. I love this washer, and it looks great! It runs quiet, and gets my clothes clean and fresh. I have not had the time to connect it to my phone yet, but that is on my to do list very soon. It has been a great experience from the time I ordered it,

Had a LG Washer (from Best Buy) and it worked great for 14 years. However, this new washing machine from LG which has steam technology is absolutely amazing! The steam eliminates the need to put those tablets in the washer on a regular basis to illuminate the smell and the slime from being so old. The tablets would always wreak havoc with my septic system because after the chemicals finished killing the bacteria in the machine it would then go on to kill the bacteria in the septic system which meant rebooting the system. This new steam technology kills all the bacteria in the clothes & in the machine yet does no harm to my septic system and that alone is a tremendous PLUS! Suffice to say this machine is awesome! It’s loaded with features Making the job so much easier for my wife and let’s face it, it’s all about making the wife happy :-). Happy wife – happy life! Thanks again LG and BEST BUY for putting another smile on my wife’s face!

I opted to replace my Samsung front loader with the new LG. It came highly recommended, but most reviews were based off the old discontinued model. I have noticed the washer is much quicker than my previous washer, but I have also noticed it is much noisier. The fit and finish feels cheaper also. The front door has some play and feels like it isn't all the way closed. The top sits flush, but the bottom can be pushed in. The wifi feature is nice, but wouldn't setup on my iPad. Luckily I was able to complete setup on my Android and access it then from the iPad. I do find the unit extremely noisy. It sounds like there are rocks tumbling even when just doing a small load of tshirts. The drain is easy to access, but so low to the ground you can't actually drain any water out before opening the access to remove any debris so water gets everywhere. I also refuse to pay their insane prices for their basic pedestal to raise it to a reasonable height. The new display panel is difficult to read and seems to have a delay on the touch controls so you stand there for a second wondering if it actually registered the button push. Overall for the price I have a difficult time recommending the unit.

I purchased this washer and companion dryer as a replacement for my 10 year old Samsung set. The color is amazing and the washer works great. The only negative so far is the display panel not being backlit. The performance otherwise is great. My clothes are so much cleaner and the unit is quiet and efficient.

PROS: Cleanest clothes ever. Very quiet. Stingy with water and soap. Spins clothes so dry it reduces dyer time. CONS: Washer cycle options VERY HARD to read. Should have back lit panel. Panel is small. It’s a shame to have an awesome washer with a mediocre options panel.

I've had a top load washer for about 10 years. It had an actuator and there wasn't quite anything very wrong with it the hose was getting worn out and I needed to change it, but I felt it was time for a change with a better washer. I did a ton of research as getting a new washer is a big investment and I want to have the best return. I saw a lot of bad things about Samsung models and opted to go with LG since it generally seemed more reliable in everything I read and all the videos I watched. I chose the front loader type of washer as I wanted to be more energy efficient and also the convenience of removing clothing easily. I'm super pleased with my choice. My clothes are much cleaner with a modern washer than my old one and it does the job super well. Plenty of space for my 2 person family as well, it holds quite a bit in the tub. The pedestal being super expensive was the drawback for me and you'll want that to avoid back problems/the convenience alongside a matching dryer potentially. Apart from that this has been the best investment beside a new mattress our family has made in the past few years to improve our quality of life. Highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best washers I have had. Its definitely quiter than my last set which was a GE, and I do find it amusing that it plays a little tune at the end of its cycle. I think the controls work great and ultimately is easy to use and understand. If you are looking for a great washer... buy this one.

Outstanding wonder, that's how I describe this LG - 4.5 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Front-Loading Washer, no wonder Consumer Reports gives this machine a very high rating. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it right. Super quiet and efficient, hands down the best washer I have ever purchased.

Love our new washer and dryer set. Easy to use and does a great job cleaning. Many options on settings depending on your wash load. Looks beautiful. We ordered without pedestals...big mistake. A week later Best Buy was able to install the pedestals as well, no extra charge for installation. Thanks Best Buy.

I thought I loved the Whirlpool front loading washer and dryer set we had before this LG 3900 set. The LG 3900 has blown me away! This washer and the dryer that goes along with it are installed in an upstairs laundry room right next to our kids and guest bedrooms. The machines are very quiet except for the chimes (I wonder if the volume can be adjusted on those). We've been using the washer several times a week, for about 3 weeks now, and I am loving it more and more. No matter the load size, everything comes out extremely clean. There are washing modes to fit every laundry situation you can throw at it. I especially love the speedwash and Turbowash features, which are perfect for small loads. Purchase and delivery experience through Best Buy was excellent. I wish I could say the same for the retailer I bought a fridge from. This was an expensive washer, but knowing that its LG's top of the line makes it worth it.

Very happy with my new washer. Top rated by Consumer Reports. Easy digital controls. Specific settings including bedding and towels. Quiet. Love seeing the total minutes for each setting and how the time changes depending on light soil versus normal soil.

I enjoy this LG front load washer so much. I have a closet that is made for a washer and dryer in my kitchen and the space is limited. This washer fits perfectly in the space. I’ve had it little over a month now and have enjoyed using it. It is pretty quiet and does a great job cleaning my clothes.

Couldn't find a better washer and the upgrade was well overdue. The washer is easy to use with a lot of features/cycles. The choices are limitless and once that is connected to you network it could perform more actions without you having to be physically there (as long as the clothes, detergents and softener are in it). With some medium level knowledge of tech. The cycles take care of your clothes properly and if you pair with the proper dryer your life becomes less complicated. You're getting a good,sturdy and high quality product for your buck that would take care of your clothes. The tube is Stainless steel and would avoid some of the scratches that you get in other ones. Great capacity and just like any other appliance you need to take care of it. And I don't mind drying the outer ring and glass to avoid mold or humidity on it. After 6 months is one of our best "Smart" purchases.

Well made and designed, a quality product that is almost silent during it's operation. One of the best large appliances we have owned. This is our second LG front loader, Last one continued to work after 20 years of ownership, upgraded because we moved.

Washer was easy to install and use. Still studying up on all the options and when is best to use them. It handles all aspects of clothes washing I have tried so far. Wifi keeps my informed of when cycle is complete so I do not have to check.

Great washer with a ton of great features, including wifi and a vibration resistant drum. Easier than expected to maneuver into place. Thoroughly enjoy the app alerts when cycles are complete. The only drawback to this model it does not have a drum light. Given I want to make sure I get all articles and ensure the washer is clean, a light would help out. Other than this, no issues at all.

Used for 2 wash weeks now, and so far it's been really good. It's quiet. I do wipe off the door and rubber liner after I'm done with the machine. I also keep the door open a bit to let it air dry to avoid smells. But so far zero issues there. The soap/softener dispenser only lets you put in a small amount of soap, so for good or bad, you won't be using as much product. I'm still not sure how I can use softener pellets though. The preset settings are good. You can make some adjustments to them, but they are not fully adjustable. You can download other settings, but you can only save one. Each download overwrites the one you had in there. I wish the screen was backlit. I have to use readers to see what I'm doing until I get more used to the settings panel. I downloaded the app to play with. It lets me know all sorts of things about my current load, and notifies me when a load is done. Overall, I'm happy with this product.
