This LG washing machine works well for me. It takes 55 minutes to complete a wash cycle (for bedding cycle). My clothes are smelling nice and it cleans well when stains are pretreated. It also agitates well and uses good amount of water in bedding cycle. The drawbacks are: 1. Lid locks after starting the wash. Have to pause the washer for the lid to open. 2. The buttons are not touch sensitive. The touch controls are not very easy to use as I have to hold the buttons rather firmly for it to work. 3. If extra rinse is added, total wash cycle is around 1 hour and 20 minutes. 4. No option available for overnight soak option. 5. Difficult to setup the Wi-Fi.

I am quite pleased with the LG High Efficiency Top-Load Washer with Agitator. It washes clothes and bedding well and is gentle on the fabric, even on the Normal setting. I am still using my old dryer but clothes seem to dry softer to the touch after using this washer. I appreciate the water conservation it offers. This does not effect the quality of the wash. To my surprise, tissues accidentally placed in the wash come out whole instead of a shredded mess which can be quite annoying! Even with the agitator, there is room enough to fit large items. Nothing gets caught around it. The machine is quiet as well. No violent spin cycles as with my old machine. It balances the load though one should always take care when loading the machine and not assume any machine can do that for you. I have not needed to use the WiFi so cannot report on that. I highly recommend this washer!

This is the washer for me. It has a large washing basin with a middle agitator. Gets stains and grit and grime out on the first washing. Quiet and efficient. This washer has great spin cycles. Clothes are just a little damp after washing them. It takes a lot less time in the dryer to get them dry and wrinkle-free.

While the LG washer is one of the most innovative and sophisticated appliances, it is also one of the most efficient and easy to use.

Huge capacity. Overall ok appliance. Only gripe is, water level cannot be adjusted to appropriate load size (small, medium, large or X-Large capacities) a DEFINITE DESIGN FLAW. Many times the top of clothes will stay dry during a majority of wash cycle due to insufficient water level, and water level cannot be appropriately adjusted. It appears that water level is based on weight, and not actual bulk or height within tub. IMO sub-standard Engineering flaw….a supposed water saver….but not in reality….if you have to wash clothes twice -or- forced to always use the “Deep fill *Max” button option.

I like the deep wash option and love the agitator and turbo feature. I miss the express, whites only and permanent press cycles. I dont like that water sometimes remains in the detergent/fabric softener drawer. So far, i am pleased with the cleaning ability of the product.

This LG washer does a great job washing the clothes. The four-way agitator really moves the clothes around during the wash and rinse cycles. The display screen background being black and the choices being light gray makes it hard to see the choices sometimes. Different colors should have been selected.

Initial Quality is amazing. I upgraded from a 25-year-old washing machine that finally went out. I have been thoroughly impressed with this machine during the first month of usage. I have not had any water level or noise level issues that others complain about. The ThinQ app is a bit wonky but I did not buy a washing machine for the mobile app.

I sent back a new Samsung with no agitator and spent more than $100 to upgrade to this machine. I love it so much and often watch it wash because it’s just so nice to see the clothes move around and under the water. 4 stars because I would love to deep fill on normal wash as well. This is not a design flaw, just my desire.

This washer is great! Takes the guesswork out of the load size, automates so many pieces, and texts you when it has finished. Oh, and the app displays where it is in the cycle. Bonus is being able to start it remotely (but have to set up prior). Easy to use.

I like it a lot better than the ones without an agitator. It gets a lot more stains out of clothes, especially jeans with ground in dirt. I still have to get used to the finger-touch digital controls. You have to pause the machine, which unlocks the top before you can add any extra clothes.

Two words " Love it". Cloths smell fresh and clean. Will not get any washer without agitator. Especially this one from LG. Glad I switched from front loader to this one. Get it. You will not regret.

I love this washing machine. What used to be two loads of laundry is now a single load because the drum is huge. And the glass top is my favorite feature. It has intuitive settings that you can select for each type of load, which helps if you don't know what should be warm vs. cold, etc.

Great machine. Easy to operate. Not the most energy efficient because it does not give a wide enough range between time cycles. And while the large capacity is great for big loads and bedding, for a short person it is a challenge to get everything out.

Great machine! First smart appliance along with the dryer. Washes and spins amazingly let’s you know when the cycle is complete! Have tried a few modes and they all work perfect for what ever your cycle includes. *Reviewed after 3 weeks*
