It is necessary to ensure you put the clothes in evenly around the tub; try not to mix weights of clothes - remain consistent. One thing that concerns me is the hose that goes to the drain. It does not look durable.

I can wash all of my king bedspreads instead of taking them to the laundry. The wayet efficiency is great and the glass top lets me see if the load is unbalanced.

I haven’t had much luck with washing machines recently so I can’t commit. The one feature I truly like is it doesn’t take over an hour to do a load of wash. My last machine took an hour or more to do a load of wash. Only time will tell if it works well.

LG makes some of the best washing machines you can buy, and this one is right there. Getting it for 400 off makes it even better.

I researched reviews and Consumer Reports and was impressed with the LG line. This one meets and exceeds what we wanted and needed. I look forward to using it for a very long time.

But all is ok not as long as I thought. Definitely uses far less water than my old machine. Also as it uses less water the clothes come out drier and take less time to dryer.

It leaked water on my floor first day i had it. Had a new one delivered and it did the same thing 3wks later. Cycle times are ridiculously long, detergent compartment doesn't drain-full of water and left over detergent. Only good thing is tge agitator

Just double-check that the drain hose is snugly inserted into the standpipe (about 6–8 inches is ideal) and not sealed too tightly, as that can lead to backflow and leaks. Regarding the detergent drawer, sometimes water can hang around if non-HE detergent is used or if the washer isn’t perfectly level—so it might be worth checking that out too.

Disappointing

It's in the series that was listed as the top performer by Consumer Reports but doesn't have a whites or a permanent press cycle. In addition if one uses the extra rinse cycle it automatically changes from a normal wash load to a deep wash cycle, which seems a waste of water. If there is some reason why more water is required to wash if I want an extra rinse, I think LG should explain it. Finally it claims a 4 way agitator but I only see back and forth motion. Again, I can't find an explanation to verify what is actually occurring. Overall, it just seems it sloshes the clothes around with no special reasons to pay extra for it.

Good washer at a decent price

Plenty of options and the Samsung appliances we've purchased over the past several years seem to hold up well to heavy use.
