I bought this on Black Friday and have to say that it has been a great television so far. Picture and sound quality is nice, and has three HDMI ports for hooking up your goodies. Hard to beat the value for the money.

Great TV for a bedroom, not too big not too small. I decided to buy this TV because the picture is great and the sound is good enough for a bedroom with the TV speakers. I got it on sale and the price was excellent.

I was shopping for a TV for our bedroom and specifically wanted a 42 inch. When I saw this one had an open box I just had to do it. Totally satisfied. It has a super picture and the sound for our bedroom is plenty.

Bought this tv on a great sale to upgrade the tv in our bedroom. We have not had any issues. Some have complained about the speakers, but for our bedroom they are plenty good. If this is your primary tv, you might want a sound bar. All in all, no complaints.

Purchased as a Black Friday Deal. It's a great T.V.! Does not have all of the bells and whistles (Internet Capable, Tons of Inputs, etc.), but if you want a nice, standard, T.V. with a great picture, go for it!

This really wasn't a planned purchase but it was too good of a deal to pass up. It is an upgrade from a 27" flatscreen for a family member. We are very pleased with the picture. So glad we happened upon this TV!

This was a good purchase and works perfectly for our needs. Great Picture and all the basic ports and hookups. Sound is surprisingly good without a sound bar. Perfect if your not looking for a smart LED HDTV!

Purchased tv on sale. Good picture. However can't get it to synchronize with my cable remote to see channel line up or control the volume. However, . I'm thinking of purchasing a universal remote.

Very pleased with this purchase. It is very economical, right size for smaller living rooms and you can't get it wrong with an esteemed brand like LG. Picture quality is very good.Would definitely recommend.

Great TV with good sound a picture. My only complaint is that on regular channels it automatically sets itself to broadcast in Spanish every time I turn it on, but with a quick push of a button that is fixed

Really nice picture and works well as a 2nd TV. The only gripe I have is that there is red LED that turns on when the TV is off, and I cannot seem to find a setting to turn it off. It can an be a bit distracting as a bedroom TV because of the light.

Hi All, I would like to thank Best Buy on this LG 40" TV product and everyone in the family liked it. This TV is very flat and does not take much space on the table and very easy mount make your job quick.

We purchased this for our son. He is a big gamer and when he has friends over they want to play split screen. It is very hard to see on a small tv so we upgraded him to this 40in. LG has the BEST color!!!

Brought it home for use in my game room. It's fantastic true blacks and colors pop. No need for 4K since nothing, very few content exist to support it. This meets my needs and I don't regret my purchase

This is just what I wanted for a little ole lady. Not too big, not too small. Enough features but not the fancy ones she doesn't need. Works with her existing cable remote. Nice picture. She's thrilled!

We bought this on Black Friday for $149.99 so we figured we couldn't go wrong. But we were pleasantly surprised to find that this is a great second TV for us with a sharp picture. We would recommend it.

Purchased this for my mother inlaw who is in her 80's and she cannot stop praising how Great the TV is, she says it has a Great picture and Excellent sound says it is the Best Gift she has ever gotten.

Purchased it on black Friday. You cannot get a better TV for the price. It has 3 HDMI inputs, audio output for surround sound. It has good picture quality and decent sound level for average size room.

I picked this up during the thanksgiving sale for my living room. The quality isn't as great as the UHD Samsung i have in my bedroom but this has value for the money spent.

I love my new t.v. I got it from open box and was way cheaper only cause of missing a remote, but bought a universal remote. Absolutely statisfied.
