Great basic 1080p TV.

This LG has great picture quality for the price and a simple design. There are no smart features cluttering the interface. There is a built-in media player that will show pictures, music, or videos from a USB device. Other reviewers have mentioned that this media player can only show videos in a windowed preview mode. This is not true. The preview mode allows you to select multiple videos that are added to a playlist of sorts. After making your selections, you press the play button to go full screen. The media player will then show the items in the order you selected them without any additional input required. There are basic playback controls on the remote, which is also nice. For a budget TV, I found the speakers to be acceptable. If I have any complaints it is that the TV is a bit bulky (thick) compared to most new sets, but at least the bezels are thin. Overall this TV is an excellent buy.
