If you're looking for a great picture and decent sound in lightweight TV, this is a great choice. It's getting harder to find a TV that doesn't have 4K, WiFi, streaming apps, etc, and the price tag to go with all of that. This TV is a just a good quality 1080p, 40" TV with an excellent picture.

I read reviews for a few brands that were in my price range, and this one consistently seemed to make people happy. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, and it's actually the first tv I've ever bought. I'm happy with the quality, the sound, and how easy it was to set up.

My previous TV went out on me and it took me some time to find another. Did not want anything fancy or overly expensive. Did my research I came across this LG. For the price and the quality you cannot beat it! Now I can watch my "BOYS" and pray for a Superbowl! lol Thank You BB!

Found this online at a great price. We had been looking for a new 40" and LG is a great brand. We didn't need a "smart" tv so this was perfect. The picture is perfect and sharp. No problems setting it up either. We're happy with this purchase and would recommend it highly.

I wanted a basic good quality tv for my bedroom and this definitely meets those needs. The picture is nice and crisp, the sound is fine and I've had no issues with any of its settings, it was very easy to set up and only took a few minutes. I would definitely recommend

This TV has a great picture and very bright back lighting, the 1080p quality is outstanding and my DVD's look great on this TV. It is extremely lightweight and thin and is in a nut shell pretty frickin nice. Great product for my money and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I needed to replace a VERY old CRT and didn't want to break the bank. This is exactly what I was looking for. 1080P is a great picture for my Roku and Cable Box. The sound is plenty loud for my bedroom. It was easy to set up and works like a charm. Highly recommended!

Perfect for a bedroom television. Many hdmi ports, easy accessible. I favor the two legs, gives me room in the middle to move objects. Clear image, also it was not super expensive. For a tv to have all of these qualifications. It stands out. I recommend this tv.

Bought this for a college dorm room. Excellent price, nothing fancy, but nice and light, the included stands are adequate with no problem. Installation and set up was simple enough, picture is very good, and enough hookups for game gear etc. Overall a nice unit that does what you need it to do.

This LG TV is an awesome buy for the money. We bought it to go on the wall in our kitchen and could not be happier. The size is perfect, the picture is perfect and the price was just right!

This 40" LG HDTV has great color, clear crisp picture with an easy to use remote. Could have better sound, but can upgrade with a sound bar. Great feature is commercials have nice music when a channel is changed. Super nice Christmas present at super low Best Buy sale!

Got this tv for under $200 on Black Friday. Probably the best purchase I ever made! I don't watch tv skit so I know it will last. I can pick up some local had channels with an antenna as well. That's all i need! Get one!

Picked this up on Black Friday for $150 and so far so good. There is only a power button on the actual tv so that is a bit of a bummer, but really just not being able to control the volume without the remote is my only complaint. It does have three HDMI inputs which most other tv's I have only have two. The pieces that hold it up are actually my favorite of all the tv's I own as it stands up about a quarter foot off the table and I am able to put a Blu-ray player or Apple TV under it just fine. I have been having an issue with one of the HDMI outputs where the screen will flash what looks like a static channel being connecting to the output, but that may be an issue with a cord - nothing that is genuinely concerning me. Definitely happy with the purchase and the brand - I am getting my money's worth but this is a very basic model and pretty much offers exactly what you would want from a 1080p TV.

So, this was purchased as a Black-Friday special. Because of this, the expectations were low, especially for the price. The picture for this TV is phenomenal. The colors are crisp and tight. The built-in tuner works fine, and was able to find all the local channels, if that's a needed feature for you. Setup was easy. Another benefit of this TV is the size of the screen to the bezel around it. It basically is all screen and no bezel, which is very useful if you have placement constraints, as I've put this TV in the bedroom, in the armoire. The only 'complaint' is the sound. and I feel that the sound is quite flat. Not a lot of bass, not a lot of treble... just kind of 'eh'. I have worked with the sound options, and none seem to improve the quality. With the price I got for the TV, it doesn't make a lot of difference, it serves its purpose, and has an over excellent design and quality.

High quality tv for a low cost. For the size this model works great and very simple to use. The only complaint I have is that the legs are a little flimsy in their make but when screwed to the tv it works fine.

Got it on sale at a really good price. No issues at all with the tv. I use it primarily for my PS4... gaming and watching Hulu. There are a few features I wish it had but I don't really miss not having them. Overall an excellent purchase for my needs.

Black Friday purchase. Bought for 149.00. I wasn't at Best Buy for the tv but could not pass up the deal. The tv is a perfect fit for the bedroom and we have not had a problem. Great picture and easy to use.

Looked at all the TVs even the ones out of my price range and am very happy with what I got. The picture is good,the color is good, the set fits in with decor No complaints great tv for a really great price

We bought this television for the spare room, it has proved to be great for movie watching as well as for online video gaming. Easy to use, easy to assemble, and a really nice picture for the price.
