Happy to be able to make the purchase without fighting black Friday crowd!!

It was an "open box" purchase, but geek certified. It had multiple problems. 1. Language would switch from English to Spanish depending on the channel 2. Volume would randomly drop to near zero 3. The screws for the legs were missing.

Pretty nice for the price range but don't compare it to a high end TV.

It's a present so it hasn't been tried yet. But great deal on this tv

I thought it would be good but for the price. Very disappointing.

Love almost everything about this TV, but the Audio defaults to "Spanish" whenever a channel presents that as an SAP option. It also switches back to "Spanish" whenever you switch back to a channel offering that option. I returned one set, only to get another with the same problem. At first I didn't want to trouble Best Buy with returning a second set, but now I'm starting to think that I'll keep trying until I either get one that works properly, or LG comes up with a solution. Before I returned the first set, I had a salesperson check the one on display at Best Buy, and it didn't seem to have this problem, but that was with Best Buy's own in-store cable that was showing Best Buy advertisements on channel 63-1 with both English and Spanish shown as available options.

I like this TV for its clarity in 40inch full HD display.

Great tv for the office nice hd quality cheap price

It's a basic tv to put in a guest room............

bought the tv on black friday deal,heard good things about lg product including tv , tried at home not a good pic,for 1080 ,had to return it.

Had to return it and get another brand. This one kept freezing and I would have to turn it off and wait a load time for it to load up again.

Buy it for my grandpa and he just turn on 2 times then didnt work again I just return it to Best Buy

Returned because it was defective...like the brand but this unit was bad.

Picked up on Black Friday for a good price and not worth a penny more. Would never pay full retail for this set, especially when compared to what competitors offer at, or near, that price. Biggest negative for me is the light bleed as the picture washes out VERY RAPIDLY when you move off axis. Sorry about the caps but I cannot emphasize this enough. Maybe great for bedroom where you won't be viewing from different angles, but anywhere you will, forget it.

Upon opening the box I realized the TV was cracked. Store personnel informed me that it was my fault and I would be responsible for the repairs.

The package was an obvious 'repackage' and was missing the stand, the power cord, and the remote! An incredible hassle to return!!!

It is gone with in 6 months. I gave complaint about the problem but no one has responded it.

Was defective on top part of screen,returned and ended up getting a sharp.

My tv has shut off twice since I bought it . I will be returning it if it happens again .

It's changes to SAP on some channels without hitting the button.
