The LG HDTV has a very nice clear picture. I really enjoyed watching my movies on this TV. The colors is perfect.

replaced a Sony 32" with this 40" Picture is brighter and better. thin design and ease of use.

We use this TV for tailgating. It's great because the picture shows up in the daylight and its very light.

Found this during the holidays for ~$170 and there is probably nothing that could beat this size and quality at that price point. It's replacing a 32" Westinghouse that failed before it's time. The picture on this LG is excellent and at 40", it's a great view from across the bedroom. Definitely recommend this to anyone.

Only two HDMI is definitely more limiting than I thought. The built in tuner is pretty good, we've cut the cord and are using a leaf style amplified antenna and chromecast/apple tv. Had to get an HDMI switcher for the PS3 and our old Tivo to watch the rest of our old recordings. Sound isn't great if the TV is boxed in due to small speakers not on the face of the unit. Picture isn't amazing, but it's good for the price.

Got this for my mother in law to entertain in her basement craft room. It is a good size for a medium size room mounted on the wall in a corner. While the screen is big enough to see throughout the room, the sound is a bit weak. It is fine if you turn the volume to the maximum volume, but the lack of external speaker output RCA connections makes it a bit inconvenient to hook it up to any external speakers.

I bought this TV on sale to replace the one in our living room which went out just in time for the holidays. Price was so low I didn't expect much. I'm happy to say we were all pleasantly surprised. It performs very close to the other TVs in our home which were double and triple the price. Wish we had had bought two. Great picture, great sound,amazing value for the price.

First you can't beat the price for the picture you get. One thing people seem to not like is the lack of output for surround sound. I worked around this by running the sound through my xbox, which is what I use for everything anyway. The second downfall is still the ports, but again I rarely turn on anything other than the xbox so I really don't care. Over all pretty happy with the purchase.

This TV has amazing picture and is a great size and price for a college dorm. There is only one issue, that is the audio. It is not bad but it does not go very loud, (movies I have to watch on 90+). I thought, easy fix, I can just get a soundbar. As it turns out this TV has no audio outputs of any kind for a soundbar or any external speakers. Without internal rewiring, there is no way to hook up a soundbar directly to the TV. This is a pretty big oversight, given the quality of the installed speakers. Aside from that this is a great TV, but if you plan on connecting it to a soundbar be warned, you cannot do so, (unless you want to open up the TV, rewire the speaker outputs to a converter then plug that into the soundbar).

Satisfied with the purchase; great sound and image quality. Purchased for my 13 year old’s bedroom, has probably had the thing turned on since he got it last Christmas (2016)!! The good thing is, he hasn’t made one complaint, except for when it’s time to turn off his video game!! Lol
