TV was easy to set up and was a huge improvement over old set.

Purchased the TV online, because of sale price, under the assumption that I could hook it up to a sound bar (you even offered a deal on the TV/sound bar combo.) I went to a Best Buy and purchased the sound bar separately. Upon getting it home and having no luck connecting it to the TV, I called LG Electronics. After spending about 10 minutes with the rep., he checked the stats on that model of TV and, to the surprise of both of us, found that this model WILL NOT support a sound bar! I asked why Best Buy would offer these as a combo when they're not compatible. "We are not responsible for what Best Buy says about our products." was the predictable non-answer I was given. When I bought my Nikon SLR camera from you, in June 2015, I was told it had a feature which, I found out later, it definitely DID NOT have. When I bought my first smartphone from you, earlier this year, the clerk was no help. I told her that I was 55 years old and, this was my first smartphone. "You'll figure it out, good luck." was the extent of her helpfulness. I am in the market for a good laptop and a photo quality printer. Best Buy was at the top of my list for places to look for these items but, after these three experiences, I'm hesitant about even considering Best Buy. Please do not try to placate me by offering me some membership, which I have to pay for, in your reward clubs. If I have to pay extra to be treated like my money matters, I'll shop elsewhere.

This TV has a great picture and sound. Bargain buy!

Bought this flatscreen to replace an old 32 inch panasonic hdtv. It fit in the same space, was easy to set up( could lift it myself, needed help with the old panasonic) and has a great picture.

This TV is perfect for our bedroom. The picture quality is great and the sound does just fine for our needs. I really like the feature in the LG TV that will automatically set the correct picture ratio. If we are watching older programs in 4:3 it automatically switches to this ratio and then back to wide screen when we are watching newer programs.

We purchased this television for a guest bedroom and didn't want a huge one that would dominate the room. This television works for us and it was a decent value. You can probably get a cheaper television of the same size, but it won't have the resolution or features this one has.

I have always loved LG! I actually brought this for my Grandmother because her old tv started to get a white line in it! Originally we were looking to get her a Vizio just because she doesn't use the tv all too much and we knew we could get a decent deal on one! Until I went to Best Buy to check prices and came across this LG! We knew hands down this was the one! The picture is GREAT and we were able to get a great sale price on it!! LG has once again proven to me why we only buy LG tvs! Don't know why I even thought to look anywhere else!! I wish I was in need of another 40" because not only is it a great deal but its a GREAT tv!

I needed a reasonably priced flat screen got my rental property and this turned out to be better than expected...set was easy...picture was great...has every important feature except wifi...

It was so easy to buy. The size was right for the place I needed it. I could not believe the price. I was happy that the sales person could bring it out to my car for me. It replaces a very old clunky TV.

I am very happy with this TV - perfect size, great picture clarity. I wish I would have bought 2 when they were on sale. My only complaint is the volume does not go real loud.

OK, a 40" TV isn't so little. We actually purchased this TV for use as a computer monitor in our shop. Some of the procedures we do require referencing some technical data from time to time. Rather than having to walk back across the room to view a typical small monitor, we have this TV hung up on the wall and can see what we need 10'-15' away quite easily. I've run some video and pictures on this TV and it has a beautiful picture. I would absolutely buy this TV for my home, in fact, my wife is looking for a flat screen for a room in our house and this will undoubtedly be my choice!
