I bought this TV and a Samsung 4k at the same time, so I had a good comparison of two TV's with similar specs. I thought since LG makes the amazing OLED displays, they would certainly do well on the smaller 4k TV's as well. Wrong. The picture on the Samsung 4k TV blew the LG away. The LG is supposed to upscale, but it looked very blurry to me even after adjusting the settings. I honestly think the picture on my 9 year old Sharp 1080 TV looks better. I even stuck in the same regular blu ray to test the picture on each TV. The blu ray actually looked okay on the LG (better than cable at least). Then I put it in the Samsung and it was no contest. Do yourself a favor and pay a few dollars more for a better TV. Don't let the low price suck you in and have to make return to the store. Finally, as many others have stated, the color of the TV itself is black. It initially said Silver when I ordered it. Now that I'm writing this review the title says gray/black. It is all black.

I have been wanting to buy a 4K LG TV and I finally did. It met the requirements needed.

It’s a complete value to money product. Additionally you can take this to India without hassle of power output issue

I only brought it because they didn't have anymore Samsung. Still rather have a Samsung. It's an overall better t.v..

So, right out of the gate, it was black not silver, and the black bezel looks cheap. web OS 3.0, not very impressive with minimal app availability. the picture was however fantastic. The IPS display looks great from all angles and even handled changes in the brightness settings well. Watching 4k streaming on this through netflix was alright, but if i rebooted the TV and tried to go back into netflix, it would crash. it also does this with hulu and spotify. The speakers in the unit sound fantastic, which i completely did not expect, and in my bedroom i usually would not need it louder than 10%. ultimately the downfall of this TV for me, after a week of owning it, no hbo support, and the real killer, the backlight completely failed and i'm returning it for a non holiday model samsung 50" 6300 series with the TIZEN OS that supports HBO now and HBO GO.

Set up was very simple. The picture was beautiful. The price was fantastic. I was able to have the television turn on once and then after I turned it off for the night it would not turn back on. The screen was black, but there was power because the red light was on. I called LG. The representative troubleshooted with me and concluded the television needed a repair and offered to send out a repairman. I opted to return the item because who wants a television that needs a repairman in the first 24 hours of being used? Otherwise from the one time the tv was functional, the picture was fantastic and set up was easy, so I give it two stars instead of one for those reasons. As a side note the AC adaptor plug is 5 feet long so be prepared to use a surge protected extension if you're farther than that from the outlet.

We bought this tv online on Black Friday for a great price. We have a Lg washer that has worked great so decided to try the tv. We are extremely impressed with the vivid picture. Like being there. Setting up the Smart features was a bit difficult since the instruction manual is only available electronically. Great tv for the money.

It is supposed to be 4k but I can't tell the difference from HD or 4k. Plus the TV lags

With the ever changing TV technology improvement, I highly commend LG as a reliable product. We had the same brand that lasted for years and I can see what good quality LG has to offer versus an off brand TV. I hope the quality stays the same for LG and we can use it for more years than the previous off-brand we got .

The TV is very Nice, I love it , perfect fit for my house. The only thing I don't like is - its very slow while switching on or changing the channels. Not sure if I can do something about it. But yes otherwise nice. I like LG Plus application for phone and also extra internet channels.
