    Almost A Perfect Experience

The new TV is an upgrade from my previous TV. Images are vibrant and bright. Blacks are deeper and helps add to the richness of the overall picture. The updated LG webos is faster than the 2020 model I previously owned. The AI remote is the least useful item for the TV. When they created a minimal remote, they removed the versatility. This keeps it from getting a 5 star rating.

    Switch to LG

Very responsive controls and the user interface is simple and intuitive. But the best feature is the stable connection to the internet. I have been a loyal fan of a major competitive brand for years, but may of my TVs in our house will not stay connected to the network. This LG has stayed connected to the primary network router and has never been connected to the mesh network required for our other TVs.

    Great computer monitor

I previously used a Hisense 40” FHD (1920x1080) as a computer monitor which, at a distance of 50”, exhibited pixels with multicolored fuzz. I purchased the 43” LG QNED hoping to gain clearer text. The LG greatly improved small text at the previous FHD setting. My computer supports 4k (3840x2160), and with a display scale of 200% to keep the original size, text seemed even clearer. Setting the display scale to 150% resulted in smaller but still very readable text and increased my useable screen space by about one third. Text is even clear at 4k resolution if you get very close to the screen. I’m delighted that both color accuracy and text clarity are greatly improved with this upgrade. After installing LGTV Companion on my laptop computer, the TV automatically turns on and off with the computer, like most genuine monitors. The computer controls the TV over your local network, rather than sensing the presence of an HDMI signal.

I bought this TV because I have other LG TVs, and I really like the user interface as well as their remote control. This is their most affordable QNED, and the color was better than I expected for this price point. TV looks great from all angles as well. I would recommend this for someone who is on a budget, but still wants a premium remote control.

This replaced an eleven year old non-smart TV. The smart functionality of this unit took some getting used to, and we have not enabled the voice command functionality (intentionally- privacy). The picture quality is very good, especially after making custom adjustments to suit our viewing style. 4K content looks great with little to no moirés. Sound is adequate, but we use external sound system. Streaming apps generally work very well, although YouTubeTV will occasionally be a bit jittery. The remote control is exasperating. The wand-style mouse is clunky and hard to control for on-screen selection. I wish there was a way to disable it, as I much prefer the four-way joystick method of screen navigation, but it annoyingly turns itself on at unexpected moments. All in all, though, this TV is a good value. I hope it’s lasts as long as our old one.

Why I chose an LG TV

Excellent picture quality. Perfect size for a smaller room. I chose to purchase an LG because I've had good experiences with them in the past in terms of reliability, longevity and picture quality.

Picture is excellent and that,s the most important thing. Comes with most popular streaming apps installed. Easy to install additional apps and updates. LG web OS takes a little getting used to but not a big deal. Has a cursor in addition to arrow keys for getting around the screens which is nice once you’re used to it. Lots of adjustments available for picture and preset modes but little adjustment is needed. Has filmmaker mode and hdmi arc also. Bought for a bedroom, worth the sale price. Don’t think I would have paid full price. Avery satisfied with my purchase.

This "Cheap" LG Is Perfect For Our Household Needs

I like it so much, I bought two! (43-inch AND 50-inch). The first was for our work-out room, the second was for my mother-in-law (who resides with us). The two units have the same install of WebOs, which is fairly simple to navigate and customize (unless you are my mother-in-law). In a small room, it has *VERY* good SDR brightness, good color volume, and excellent motion-handling. The sound is a bit lackluster, especially in the lower range, but she's watching the set in a 120 sq. foot room! Sound bars are cheap these days, and easy to add, if you feel the need. Smart TV performance is very good on these units, with a snappy connection to my 700 mbps Internet connection. On both units, however, the female users in our household prefer their trusty Roku devices. Screen reflectivity is not an issue for the 43-inch unit as installed, because it's in a room with no overhead lights or direct sunlight (be aware that it can be an issue on these televisions, but is certainly NOT a deal-breaker). I think my wife actually prefers the 43-inch version, and would have gotten two of those by choice instead of a 43-inch and a 50-inch. For me, one of the biggest issues with many "high-performance" modern TVs is the appalling lack of upscaling performance. We watch a LOT of Standard Definition video in the house, from a variety of physical and streaming formats, and we need good upscaling. These LG televisions, with the Alpha 7 Gen. 8 processors, have that in spades! It's not as big an issue on the smaller sets, but it's still extremely important on *any* size of 4k TV. If you get a chance, please watch some SDR video on one of these TVs before you buy a competing "cheap tv". It's worth your time, and your money. Highly Recommend!

Great picture, sturdy and fits our small apt without looking to massive and out of place. Easy set up and connected well with our Samsun Soundbar and BlueRay.

Color blew us away. Blacks are truly black. As good as any OLED I've seen and at a lower price. Will last twice as long as an OLED as well.

I needed a replacement for my Sony that would fit into my entertainment cabinet. I compared the specs among 3 major brands recommended by Consumer Reports before settling on this one. The the picture quality is great and the sound quality is good. The remote control is a bit finicky and hard to use with its size and built in pointer/rolling wheel all in one. Screen reflection is much higher than my old set making it difficult to see during the day. For the price, I am happy with my purchase.

For an inexpensive TV, this has an incredible picture!. I purchased this TV to use in my bedroom. I wasn’t expecting much as it wasn’t very costly. My living room TV is an LGOLED with a fantastic picture! So I can appreciate a good picture quality. I was completely surprised and totally blown away at how good the picture was on this lesser expensive LG product I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive. Good quality TV.

Nice midrange TV for smaller spaces

This is a nice midrange TV for smaller spaces. The picture quality and colors are good out of the box but after some adjustment on various content types and input sources it looks great. The built in speakers are okay but it allows various audio connections to soundbar or speakers that can be controlled by the remote. No issues with Wifi connectivity, and it also has a LAN port. The built in apps all work but they are not as fast as a standalone AppleTV 4K box as expected. Gaming on an xbox looks great with HDR turned on and input lag seems minimal. This TV even looks okay with our old Wii plugged in via an HDMI adapter. Giving it 4 stars for several reasons. First, the setup took a long time and was a bit of a pain requiring an and app and multiple agreements. Next, the mouse thing on the remote can sometimes be annoying and you can't disable it. Finally, the homescreen is a mess of ads and junk until you dig deep into the settings and turn a bunch of things off. Overall if you have the time and patience to dig into the settings and make adjustments this is a great TV. If you need something fast and easy to setup for grandma or a non tech friend I would probably look elsewwhere.
