The setup program for this TV was quite simple, and the prompts were usually self-explanatory. It presents a very sharp, clear picture, and the sound is better than our other HDTV's. The only criticism is that it takes a little effort to get accustomed to the "floating" selector tool of the remote, although it did make the entry of out complex wi-fi password go more quickly moving around the keyboard. All-in-all, a VERY nice TV for a budget minded buyer.

This TV is amazing. The smart features are fantastic. The UI, WOW on this tv is straight up amazing. It’s by far the most intuitive that I have ever used. And the picture... holy cow is it good. I thought that my Samsung was good, which also was purchased in 2019, and this thing blows the Samsung out of the water. My only regret is buying the Samsung. Wish I purchased 2 of these. It’s simply amazing.

I tried the Sony X800F, the LG 7 series, and the Samsung Q60. For picture, the Sony was the best. It was crisp, bright, and natural looking. The LG had washed out looking color and couldn't get very bright. The Samsung QLED had lots of color, but I'm not a fan of the QLED because it looks fake and unnatural to me. And the Samsung had lots of reflections and poor viewing angle. For sound, the LG was the best. I wouldn't even need a sound system with it. The Sony had the worst sound, lots of distortion just listening to basic dialog. It was awful. The Samsung had ok sound, not as good as the LG. It sounded like instead of just getting the basics of the sound right they tried to get fancy and extend the bass and make it surround, but it just made it sound weird. As far as interface, the LG just wows me with the magic remote and nice clean interface! The LG wins hands down, and it's not even close. The Sony is just basic -- doesn't do anything special, but it's fine and doesn't get in the way. The Samsung interface just seems to be overbearing and in your face and just annoys me. Overall, I think I like the LG the most. The picture could be better, but I get used to it and it doesn't bother me, and it's so much cheaper. The Sony is great if you're using a sound system, but the horrible TV speakers never stop bugging me. Everything about the Samsung bothers me. The picture, sound, and interface all seem gimmicky and like they couldn't get the basics right because they tried to do something fancy.

Put in my bedroom to replace 15 year old flat screen. Size difference not noticeably different, but picture is more vivid and much better quality! Love the smart features, which are easy to use. Just using HD antenna and streaming with this tv-no cable!

I buy only LG TV's. This TV by far is the best TV that I have purchased. The ease of use is outstanding. You don't need to worry about set up or any other issue. The picture is near perfect and the sound is excellent. I recommend this TV to anyone that wants close to perfection.

Tv screen and sound quality is quite good and clear. I usually like to listen with wireless earphones but this tv isn’t the greatest at pair bluetooth devices. The wireless connection isn’t that good but works well connected via ethernet. The web browser is a bit hard to navigate and there isn’t a pop up blocker feather so you get frequent pop ups. However if you just want to you this tv for regular cable viewing or streaming Netflix it works quite well.

Replaced an old 'floor' TV The picture is very clear and the speakers sound amazing. Love the simplicity of navigating through apps on WebOS. As a non -tech savvy person , I love the ease to navigate the different features. I use two remotes one that comes with my Optimum package & the one that comes with the TV, to navigate the WebOS

Here is my review after having the tv for a few days. Nice picture and sound. Setup is very quick and easy. Also has pretty cool features if you decide to use them. The only issue I had were with the stands. The screws sent seemed to be too little and did not tighten all the way. I mounted it on the wall and everything worked out fine.

This TV is good value for the money. Lots of customizable options for the picture, a good fast response game mode, and decent built-in speakers. The operating system is also very speedy and switches between apps quickly and has many more apps available than than my old Vizio (which would take 30-60 seconds to launch an app like Netflix). Only 2 cons I’ve come across so far that stopped me from giving this TV 5 stars: 1. I’ve experienced slight burn-in on the screen when watching news or sports programs, where the outlines of score or text boxes persist for a few minutes after switching to a different channel. I’m not able to avoid this even when turning down the display brightness and contrast settings, as suggested online. 2. When the TV is turned off, a slight ticking noise begins from the power controller unit inside the TV. It’s very faint but I have this TV in my bedroom and can definitely hear it when everything is off and I’m trying to fall asleep. The only way to stop the noise is to disconnect the TV from the electricity. I had LG customer service send out a technician who replaced the power unit under warranty but even the new one made the clicking sound, so it looks like it’s an inherent problem with the electronics. If you’re planning on using this TV in a room where you don’t sleep, then this shouldn't be a problem. I have the TV plugged into a surge protector so I just flip the off switch on that at night, so it’s not a huge inconvenience.

This is a very good TV with 4K and HDR for a really great price under $300. I applied $50 of cash certificates and a promo to reduce the price to an unbelieveable $250. I love the picture which is so sharp and clear. It also has internet capabilities I haven't tried out yet. Very impressed by this technology and price.

I absolutely love the LG tv with the magic remote. Great picture, sound and most of all, super easy and very convenient to use the remote. Speak and it pulls up videos and or apps within seconds. The team at Best Buy San Marcos was awesome. Great customer service and knowledge. Thank you BBY 871!

Bought this for a small den/ office. Great picture and easy set up. Had it done in about 10 minutes. Did not hook up to our cable tv because I just wanted for tv apps such as Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix. Not sure if I can get our local cable provider’s app. I did not see it listed but i have it on my phone so with screen mirroring I am still able to watch cable tv if I want to.

Outstanding picture quality, comprehensive smart functions, clean lines, lightweight set that is a good value for a lower line smart high definition television. LG is a good brand and you receive good value for your money. Remote functions take a bit to getting used to. But overall a great tv.

Even though this is just a “starter 4K tv” it was still a great picture than regular FHD tv’s. You can definitely tell a difference in quality than regular TVs and the smart remote that comes with it is easy to use. Setting it up to WiFi was not a problem at all and neither was the setup.
