I really like this TV.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is replacing a 32" LG LED TV that is 8 years old. The first thing I noticed was that the new 43" TV was considerably lighter than the older 32", which was a pleasant surprise. Secondly, the remote is fabulous. It uses an RF rather than infrared communication channel and is much more reliable. What really struck me, however, is that built into the remote is an accelerometer that allows you to position the cursor position on the screen of the TV just by moving the remote with your hand. This makes it incredibly easy to select different features. And the incorporation of audio input on the remote to search for content works extremely well and is very useful. The only reason I'm rating this TV 4 stars rather than 5 is because I cannot find in the LG store an app for "HBO GO". It would be nice if the LG App store had apps for all the commonly used streaming platforms. For me, in order to get HBO GO, I now need to purchase an external streaming device.

Easy setup and great picture
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought as a bedroom TV and did not disappoint. Have another LG TV in my home and bought this one because of the great experience with the first. Smart features, easy and intuitive set up, and access to multiple streaming services were the big “draws” for me.

Great 4K Computer Monitor!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this LG 43UM7300 television to be used as (1) a 4K computer/PC monitor; (2) for console (Xbox One X) gaming; and (3) for Amazon FireTV. Wow. The IPS panel on this television exceeds my expectations. The IPS panel supports chroma 4:4:4 and I do not observe any cross-hatching or sub-pixel dithering. My Xbox One X properly determined the display configuration and I'm just in awe at 4K gaming (I have not tried PC gaming titles just yet). My three primary streaming subscriptions (Hulu, Netflix, Prime Video) all look fantastic! To get 4K resolution to display properly, make sure you're using the correct HDMI cable, make sure to select "PC" as the HDMI port type from the Home Dashboard (I personally enable this for all HDMI ports, the exception being the HDMI port to which I plan to connect a standalone blu-ray player eventually), then make sure to configure HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color on the appropriate HDMI ports for which 4K resolution is desired. Lastly, I calibrated the color based on the recommendations from "rtings" website. My only complaint regards the remote control. The buttons are in awkward locations and it sits awkwardly in your hand (hard to reach bottom buttons). I'm still getting comfortable with the Wii-like on-screen pointer. I do like how LG decided in innovate the remote! My recommendations would be to (1) include a slide-out keyboard and (2) illuminate the keys!!! For this particular price range, the only other 43-inch televisions that I would recommend are the Vizio V436-G1 and TCL 43S515 both available from Best Buy ... with the understanding the the panel type is VA and not IPS (so viewing angles are a bit more restricted, but you do have better contrast and display of darker colors).

Best TV I have ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first LG TV and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. They just got everything right. The remote and menu options are perfectly in synch and simply work the way you would expect. The built in Airplay is freaking awesome. I wirelessly connect my iphone, ipad or MacBook pro to it with one click. And the picture quality is like having a high-end 43" computer monitor. 4k via NetFlix which is a built in APP, is simply stunning. And the TV has every streaming service you can think of built in. Simply add ur user name and password and you are done. The only negative, if there is one, the speakers aren't that great but that is what soundbars are for. With shelter in place orders, I put this one in my home office and it is perfect. I intend to purchase another one for my workout area in the garage. I highly recommend it.

Apple Airplay2 and Alexa and Google Built in
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most TV’s are Smart now but their smart capabilies vary. I would prefer a TV with Roku or Fire TV built in because the LG Smart capabilities are not quite as robust, but this TV has Airplay2 and Alexa and Google Built in. Saves me from buying an Apple TV, or and Alexa or Google device because I can stream other content from my iPad or iPhone and the Alexa and Google are built i, saving me $150 on the Apple TV and additional money on an Alexa or Google device. And this TV is priced similar to the lower priced Samsungs, and has an excellent picture. Make sure you purchase the model with Apple Airplay2 built in. The cheaper model does not have it.

Good TV at a good price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is 43” big, which is good if it’s for a small bedroom. The 4K quality and HDR are decent and it has 3 HDMI ports, so you won’t have to switch cables if you have multiple things connected. It’s a decent TV at a relatively cheap price and worth getting if you are upgrading from an older, smaller, lower resolution TV.

Great little tv!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this 43 for my bedroom because I didn’t want to have a bunch of things plugged into it, and the size was right for the room size. The picture is crisp and clear like you’d expect from an LG and the smart apps are so convenient!

Disappointed
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV after seeing it on display at a best buy store. I was impressed by the sharpness of the image and the price seemed reasonable for the quality and the technology. However, instead of treating myself to something I would enjoy it seems like I bought myself an unnecessary problem with this TV. After installing it, the TV would not pick the signal from my ATT U-verse receiver and when it finally did that image would keep flickering all the time. I first thought it was the HDMI cable so I bought a new one which did nothing. I kept trying different HDMI cables (some very expensive) and I ended up buying 4 different cables but none fixed the problem. Then I thought the problem was the receiver so I called ATT and they sent me a new unit. When the new receiver arrived I installed it but the problem was still there. After changing every possible thing of the setup, my last hope was that this one TV was defective so I took it in to exchange it. When I got home with the new TV I opened it only to find out the new unit they had given me had a cracked screen. I took it back to best buy and the employees gave me a hard time to return it. They almost blamed me for braking the TV even though I took it back in less than an hour after the first exchange. After arguing with them for a bit and them trying to scare me off saying they needed to bring in the manager they finally agreed to give me a new unit. I took this 3rd TV home and to my surprise it was behaving exactly the same way as the first one. The next day ATT sent a tech over to my home and after changing every component of the cable setup NOTHING solved the problem. The tech did say that LG TVs usually give them a hard time to connect to the wifi but that he had never seen this problem( it is a new model right?). It is worth noting that every other TV at my house worked perfectly fine in this room with this setup. The only thing that finally "solved" the problem was switching back to an old version of the DVR receiver. However, the image quality is not the same and the TV behaves very sluggish. What is the point of buying a TV with some of the latest technology if I'm not able to get the best out of it? Now I'm stuck with this old receiver that does not give me the same image quality and does not have the same storage as the other one. For some reason this TV model does not work with the new ATT Uverse receivers. I read a review here about someone having issues connecting it to an Xbox through HDMI. This really makes me question the reliability and durability of this television. Not only am I upset at LG for their product, but Best Buy really did not fulfill my expectations. They offered no technical support or advice when I went to talk to them. Being an Elite Plus Member I would think they would offer some support. I ended up spending so much time and money trying to make this TV behave. Not happy at all with this purchase!

Great picture quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the picture quality of this tv. It's crisp with excellent color. I'm less thrilled with the "magic remote" that doesn't stay paired with the tv and keeps saying it needs new batteries when they were just changed. My old remote doesn't work completely with the new TV so I'm stuck using both.

LG is a standout brand
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up. Very impressive picture. The sound is also better than most flat screen tv's. I do use a soundbar most of the time, but sometimes use the clear voice mode of the tv to better hear dialog.

Great entry leve lb. 4K HDR
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice entry level 4k HDR TV. LG already have the best OS, and you can really see the HDR in action and know when it comes on with a vision pop up in upper right for a moment. Very good price point as well
