This is a low end smart TV, where your keyword search in YouTube contents have to be typed letter by letter painstakingly.
Even I tried to buy a voice magic remote $54, but I just learned that TV does not support voice command. (See the pic)
The AI only works for the audio, not for Picture wiality. The black color is dull. And the overall image is quite poor compared to the LG 3D TV I had purchased over a decade ago.
I would go with UHD AI TV B4 or higher series, if this is your choice for a new main TV. UA77PUB is cheap, meaning lots of compromise from video to YouTube search.
Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding the LG 43UA7700PUB TV. We understand your inquiry about the user experience, particularly with the remote and picture quality. The UA7700 series comes with a standard remote, which doesn't have built-in voice command functionality, but it is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control through a separate device. To address the picture quality, you may want to check the picture settings in the menu. We recommend trying different picture modes or adjusting settings like "Sharpness" and "Super Resolution." https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-43-class-ua77-series-led-ai-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2025/6621803.p?skuId=6621803 Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions and provide further assistance. This is the first time I've had a 4K that really looks good. I don't like the way the apps are laid out. I've only had the tv for a few months so, even though I've found a way to change some things. I still have a lot to learn. Also, I really hate the remote! It's probably the hardest remote to find and use the keys you really use often. Most of the times, you'll hit the wrong key and have to start over. I bought this tv to avoid Amazon and Roku. But, there are still lots of pre-installed apps. And, for some reason, you can't get PBS bay area. You can get San Diego or other states cities. So, my PBS Passport doesn't work.

The LG 43” UA77 Series LED AI 4K UHD Smart TV (2025) is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for premium performance in a compact size. The 4K picture quality is sharp and vibrant, with great color accuracy and clarity that makes movies, sports, and streaming content look amazing. LG’s AI-powered picture and sound enhancements really make a difference, automatically optimizing the experience no matter what you’re watching.
The webOS interface is smooth, fast, and very easy to use, with quick access to all major streaming apps. Navigation feels intuitive, and voice control adds extra convenience. The TV’s sleek, modern design fits perfectly in bedrooms, apartments, or smaller living rooms without sacrificing a high-end feel.
Overall, this TV delivers excellent value with reliable performance, smart features, and impressive visuals. A great pick if you want a future-ready 4K smart TV from a trusted brand.

Needed a light-weight large monitor for my adjustable-height work desk. The display on this is wonderful. I also watched some movies on it (while not working of course) and the only drawback I felt was the sound. Any flat downward firing speakers I have heard are not great including these.

Perfect size to fit in my mantle/ entertainment center. Honestly due to the bezels being so thin, could’ve gotta a larger size. Viewing angles are perfect as well no matter where we sit from the image doesn’t become disorted. In general the LG software is fairly straight forward and quick. Image quality is very good for a lcd screen given that OLED is now a thing.

I selected this TV because of online reports that LG has better built-in receivers than most brands. We have no cable in our kitchen, so we rely on antenna broadcasts. The 3 stations we could access all suffered from picture and sound "fall-out," particularly when an vehicle passed the house. This LG television has given us about 40 antenna channels without fallout, along with hundreds of channels through Pluto. We no longer need a fire stick to access our subscription channels, and the picture is brighter and more vivid than that of our former TV. I love this LG!

Great TV. Bright, clear, well-defined picture. Colors true to life. Easy to use settings. Super but for guest room TV. Added a Roku Soundbar, and wow! The sound isn't bad without, maybe because it's wall mounted but that little gizmo sends the sound up several notches.

I picked up this LG TV a little while ago, and I’m really happy with it. The picture looks awesome colors are bright, the blacks are nice and deep, and everything comes through super clear whether I’m watching movies, sports, or streaming shows.
The built-in sound is actually better than I expected. It’s loud and clear enough that I don’t always need to hook up a soundbar, which is a nice bonus.
The smart TV system is easy to use. Apps like Netflix and YouTube load fast, and the remote is simple with handy shortcut buttons. I especially like the pointer feature makes it feel kind of like using a mouse.
If you’re into gaming, this TV handles it really well with smooth motion and hardly any lag.
Overall, this is a great TV for the money. Sleek design, great picture, easy to use I’d definitely recommend it.

The LG 43” UA77 UHD AI 4K (2025) is a solid choice for those looking for strong image quality in a compact size. Its 4K panel delivers vibrant colors, good contrast, and sharp detail for movies, series, and sports. LG’s AI processing enhances HD content upscaling and optimizes brightness and color scene by scene.
The webOS system is fast, intuitive, and provides smooth access to all major streaming platforms. Audio performance is adequate for everyday use, though it clearly benefits from an external soundbar. With its clean design, thin bezels, and consistent performance, it fits well in small to medium rooms.

Clear picture! Fits into my small space very well!...
The stand for the TV is a little flimsy and needs to be assembled carefully and placed on a sturdy long and wide base or table...

Small but nice TV. Connected quickly to the house and love that it connects to the home for Apple. The color is nice and sound is good. Use this in a “Den” setup since I didn’t want a huge TV versus using my iPad. Very light weight also.

Only had a short time, but looks great out of the box. Picture is more than adequate for use in our office (background, baseball). Very lightweight compared to the older 43” HD TV it replaced; nice for wall mounting.
Only negative is the speakers. Underpowered and trebly to start. Better once EQ’d (nice 5 band EQ), but not ideal.
Use AppleTV, so no opinion on the native apps.
