Good looking smart TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to add a TV to a spare room so that we could set up an exercise area since the pandemic has shut down our gym attendance. I decided to pick up a better grade of smart TV since I don't have any other TV service in that room. LG provides a free Internet TV service that gives an overnight guest something to watch if they stay in the room. That's good enough for us as our major use it to tie the TV to our iPads so that we can stream our exercise videos. I downrated it by one star only because it comes with a standard remote instead of LG's Magic Remote which is much better for controlling the apps on the TV. If I could have given a half-star, I'd have only docked it to 4.5 instead of 4.

Just what I wanted for my apartment
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vivid picture on this television. It was very easy to install together with its smart TV function. Perfect size for a small living area like an apartment. The sound out of the set was very good also.

Pretty good image quality even before tuning
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased for bedroom wall mount. Excellent picture and decent audio for a tv. Not a huge fan of all the ads baked into LG’s OS and I really wish it would let me get rid of the sports-ball updates so I’m deducting one star for being forced into that after paying for the device. OS is quick and responsive both wireless and wired. Picture quality was good enough before tuning but definitely worth the time to complete. Remote layout is a little wonky to favor quickly launching Netflix and Prime Video. But I’d recommend it to anyone.

LG 4K 70”
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup. Great picture. Settings function allows you to adjust the picture for your personal preferences. The remote seems a little inadequate for this tv. The additional 200 or so IP channels make this a great TV!

LG is superior
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a new TV for the bedroom after giving ours away to a friend. I tried two cheaper brands and hated them both. After going back and returning each one, I decided to go back to a tried and true LG. It's really good and I am enjoying it. With our older 49" you could custom adjust the brightness, contrast, etc. down as low as you wanted (from 0-100) but this model has preset brightness levels. I was really worried about that because I like it VERY dark, but I find the lowest mode is dark enough for my bedroom at night. I have also found that both of our LG tvs have a hard time staying connected to the internet, but using a Roku device eliminates any of that. Overall I recommend!

Frustrating but may be well worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Caveat: This review is for model 43UN7000PUB only. Pros: Quick basic setup, excellent viewing angles, video quality ranges from good to excellent depending on input, audio quality is better than average (especially in surround sound). Cons: Horrible documentation, frustrating to setup with a Mac, navigation controls with basic remote are really bad, privacy be damned if you directly connect it to the internet. I got this primarily as a computer monitor. That use pretty much requires an IPS panel because viewing angles can be rather sharp for a monitor this size. The last thing you want is to have the edges differ from the center view point. This is one of the few affordable IPS panels out there. I was very pleased that even at extreme angles there is no noticeable loss of quality. As for using it as a TV, it's pretty average. Not bad but not anything to rave about. Note that this TV is not appropriate for dimmed rooms as IPS panels have relatively low contrast that becomes way too apparent in low light. So, if you want a theater–like experience look elsewhere. That said, setting this thing up for high quality Mac use is a very frustrating experience. There is little help out there (even from LG) and a lot of conflicting information due to changes in the WebOS platform over a short time. I've been tinkering with it, far longer than I should have, to get the best quality picture. It's almost like a duel between my Mac Mini and the LG. Change something here now you have to change something there; reboot to get each one to recognize the change, It's been quite frustrating. Anyway, I'm almost there and the picture quality so far is far better than I expected. So, if you don't mind trading your time for a well-priced monitor (what else are you going to do in a stay-at-home pandemic, eh?) then this is a well-worth TV as a Mac monitor. Just don't expect an easy setup to get the best out of it.

Great Value!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this LG to replace an early version 40" Vizio smart TV which still works fine and has been relegated to garage service. This 43" LG fits into an area that at the time due to flat screen design would accept only a 40" screen. The LG has many great features, is very fast on start up and has an extremely sharp, clear picture. Very easy to set up and program. We now have 4 G TV's and obviously they continue to impress us with the quality and value LG builds into their flat screen Televisions. Would definitely recommend LG and will continue to purchasing LG products as we need or want newer or updated technology and features.

That gyro remote though?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4.9 inquired due to remote downgrade. I want the$ 60 gyro remote but now they only do that weaker remote. Quite a disappointed. Okay now as 4 the review. The pictures is Clear and not fake looking, which is something I inspire when I'm watching the greatest movie ever "BVS on TNT". Pluto TV is now on my input list by default. This TV can play hi res music files. Pics, and very comprehensive strong video file player. The stand is crap like a lot of them. Rises only like 3 inches off, but that can be modded wit a lil money and some more money of course. The voice feature Well I need to upgrade that remote. But since I own an additional 12 purchases (1 43' in my bathroom being) I will say it friggin Great! The echo dot also does my bidding on this tev quite the well. ...But its just somethings man I want to talk to the remote and whisper those sweet nothings to it you know u know since it there already, and my neighbors through the power of fiber optics get all "jelly" of my relationship with good all Alexa. anywho :)

A great purchase.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The purchase was a replacement for a damaged screen TV. It’s a plus that it’s a smart TV, a plus for the clarity of picture, and a plus for the great pricing deal.

Good little TV - great bang for your buck
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV for Bedroom or small apartment At 43", this isn't going to be the centerpeace to your Home Theater, but it's a good little TV for smaller spaces. Color reproduction is excellent for an inexpensive TV. We don't use the "Smart" features - although I'm sure they're fine, I'm much happier with a ROKU connected to the TV. Sound quality is decent, although I prefer a sound bar and Subwoofer. Overall, this is one of the best low priced TVs out there. You're getting what you pay for, and a little bit more.

LG - 43" Class UN7000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webO
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LG - 43" Class UN7000 Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV : Not a bad TV for the price. I'm not as super particular as some and have barely scratched the surface of what this can actually do. the preloaded apps are pretty good and seem to function well. My biggest complaint is slow internet connectivity, which seems to be a common issue. But that also seems to be what your trying to use. the YouTube works awesome online, but yet I have an internet based automotive programing that can be finicky. I am amazed at the picture quality from a lower end TV. I've had this for about 3 weeks now, overall very happy, purchased online and it was sent very promptly.

Great second TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent picture. Lots of features, like the LG IP TV, which gives a cable-like experience (i.e. easy to use) with the TV guide. Easy to set up. Excellent sound quality, unlike many TVs in this price range that a soundbar is a necessity because the built-in speakers are tinny and don't reproduce sound with any quality. This is my fifth LG TV I've purchased, oldest one is eleven years old and still working like new. I will only buy LG TVs because of the quality of the product.

Good---BUT !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to replace a 40 year old direct view Sony Console TV. Decided on the LG LED Smart TV. Had it delivered to my house. Small, lightweight. Easy for one old guy to handle. Did NOT like the plastic feet far apart under the TV. Bought a post mount and screwed it to the cabinet. Good and solid. Can't fall over unless the cabinet goes over too. Picture OK. But I'm spoiled by the new OLED Sony TV. Not the LG's fault. Sound is better than expected. Usable in my case. Wi-Fi Smart TV stuff works well. Was able to add other sites not included with the TV. BUT ! Instructions are basically NOT THERE. Had to call LG to change HDMI labeling. Still not clear how to delete off-air TV stations, and KEEP them gone. Also wanted to hook up a JVC S-VHS player to the TV using the analog hook-ups. That's what they are there for--right? WRONG. Saw the blue set-up screen from the JVC. But tried to play a tape recorded off-air. Had sound. But half second of video and then BLACK. No picture. Tried a different JVC S-VHS player. Same thing. Called LG. No idea why it would not work. Must be an compatibility problem. Fine. But a lot of us recorded our kids growing up and other important events on VHS tape. So VHS playback could be very important. Why would somebody (LG in this case) build and sell a current device that wasn't capable of playing older technology? Beats me. And the Best Buy Geek squad guy I spoke with? He didn't design and build the TV, but he has to make it work in people's houses. He had never heard of the problem but looked the problem up in his data base thingy. No dice. Neither of two JVC players showed video on the LG. Both showed video on the ancient Sony Direct View TV. So it's not the players. A friend suggested a $15 analog-to-HDMI adapter. That worked. But it took up one of the three HDMI inputs on the LG. So problem sorta solved. Just beware of the problem if you want to play a VHS tape on a LG TV. Might not work. Beware. Other than the analog/VHS problem, and the non-existent instruction manual (including on-line), the TV seems fine. For what it is. Good luck.
