Read the reviews, did my research and chose this TV. All I can say, amazing picture, easy to set up. Basically, a plug & play TV. I popped the Fire Stick into HDMI 4 and away we went! Very pleased.

Perfect for my kids bedroom, easily mounted to a universal swivel wall mount. This TV has a great picture and my 6 year old easily navigates the remote to watch his favorite YouTube shows.

Superior picture quality. I found it difficult to navigate settings and, for me, too many small buttons on remote.

A Good Value 4K TV With No "Account" Necessary

There is no way [that I can find at least] to adjust the TV screen - no contrast, no brightness, no color provisions. On the other hand, the internal electronics seems to provide adequate automatic flesh tones for most stations. It is not like a Samsung. Also, no aspect ratio settings like your old TV may have. On the other hand, no "Account" needs to be set up. You don't have someone listening to every conversation and selling it to whomever wants it unless you choose to do so. Why mandatory "Accounts" are "necessary" for most of the better TVs is both an invasion of privacy, and could be, and should be, illegal. A real controller where you can just punch the number in to change stations, not serially scroll through the entire lineup, is provided. The tuner is just superb - stations which would just barely come up with the Samsung 7000 are crisp and CC is just fine. Given it's low end price, this is a very good value, especially for OTA viewers. We get over 100 stations with just a 4-bay bowtie, transmitters being about 35 miles away in Tampa. We use it with a Samsung 43" sound bar, and you can program the controller it to use the Samsung sound bar in an integrated manner.

The only good thing about this TV is the picture. The user interface seems to be designed to upsell the viewer on anything it can. There is no simple push-of-a-button way to simply select an HDMI input. It can be set to display what's on the nost recently selected input but if you change to something else in the eman time, you're in for selecting from a bunch of menus to get choose another input. It's also necessary to agree to the full scope data collection of the ste, which includes your what you're watching, when you watched it, your voice inputs, etc. Also specifically stated is that they can share that data (audio included) to whomever they choose. While the picture is nice, the interface is dismal. LG should be embarassed by that and their requirement for complete agreement with their data scarfing scheme before the interface becomes functional. I can't imagine how this UX made it into production. The system information gives a software release number but it seems like it wasn't released at all, it escaped.

Hello there, Frank. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the LG 43UT7000PUA TV. We understand how important a seamless user experience is when it comes to enjoying your entertainment setup. While this model offers a stunning picture with advanced features such as HDR10 and the α5 AI Processor Gen7, we recognize your concerns about the user interface and data requirements.

For easier navigation of inputs, the webOS platform does allow customization of quick access options. You can try setting up "Quick Settings" by pressing and holding the 'Settings' button on your remote, which allows for faster access to HDMI inputs and other frequently used functions. Regarding data collection, while agreeing to the terms is required to fully utilize the smart features, you may explore offline usage options if you prefer.

We value your feedback as it helps us enhance future designs. If you need additional guidance or support, feel free to contact us directly on social media at @LGUSSupport, and our team would be happy to assist you further.

Does what I need, and it is good enough for what I want to do or watch on it. Only thing missing is no Dolby Vision for around same price as other tvs with Dolby Vision. If something does happen to this tv, then I would go with one with Dolby Vision. It does not exactly upscale the 1080i on tv channels, like other tvs. It fits screen but can tell it is not close to 4k, same with basic tv channels. It is a cheap end tv but still others do it better, like HiSense, and I will go back to that one next time. Depends on how you want your tv to be for you but I recommend for those who do not care at all about Dolby Vision but if you do care, then get another brand since LG does not want to offer this on lower end tvs like other brands. You also, missing the magic remote too. Some kind of gimmick to pay more for the magic remote and not give with tv.

So far it fits well and works well in my daughter’s room. Very impressed with the features actually. Especially when she pulls her computer screen up on it for me to read her reports on a larger screen.

This is a huge upgrade to my hisense roku tv I bought second hand. The Hisense ended up with a black screen due to a bad motherboard. The picture on this was almost too good, meaning the frame rate made it seem too realistic when watching tv. So I found the "film maker mode" which made it great watching. Crisp and clear picture with excellent sound quality. Its a keeper and I hope will last years to come.

We purchased this tv for our kitchen. Already have two LG televisions that were bought at Best Buy. They are a very reliable product with a clear and crisp picture and a nice sound. The sales person was very knowledgeable and was very helpful in answering questions that we had. Was a good store experience.

Frustrating!! Must seek outside help just to do the simplest task. The remote takes home the reward for worst remote ever!! Most remotes have enough buttons to keep the controls easy to navigate even in the dark. The current remote has 46 buttons!! This 46 button remote is NOT user friendly making looking for certain shows, or pausing, or just wanting to see what’s coming on later an exercise in futility.

I was looking for a TV for my bedroom that is easy to use, WiFi ready and not too big but big enough - this tv is perfect! I've had it a few months now and I love it. I admittedly get buttons on the remotes confused on my living room TV but not on this one because it's easier, it seems more straightforward than the other one - like the buttons are in the right spot for my left handed brain or something. The only thing I have trouble with is the sound- like the volume - I have to turn it up on a higher number than my living room TV- but there is a little more background noise outside my window most days, like my bedroom is usually turned up on like 44 to hear well and the living room is a bigger TV on like 34 .. could be a lot of reasons.
