I had a Pioneer Kuro plasma tv that I really loved. The picture was amazing and I was reluctant to upgrade to a newer tv. I’d thought about an OLED tv, but the prices weren’t very attractive. Then I saw this LG model. It was very close to the size of my Kuro, it had 4K resolution and the price… So, I finally decided to upgrade. I’m so glad I did. This tv is phenomenal. The blacks are so deep, the colors are bright and accurate and the design is simple and elegant. Best of all, the price for all this performance is amazing. I couldn’t be happier.

As others have stated the picture is very good. I have an older LG TV that I though the picture was very good until I got this.
Some complain about the sound level, I have mine in a fairly good size room and I have never needed the sound level over 40.
Some complain about the magic remote, I would be one of those. Maybe if I use it more I might find it OK, but until then I just use the remote from my older LG TV. I know where all the buttons are without looking and can get to some of the TV features that you can not get with the magic one.
I would buy this TV again.

This tv is an OLED. It has the inky blacks and bright scenes. The colors are deep. The images are crisp. I have a C2 55” and compared the two and seen very little between them. The C2 images were a little more detailed but if I didnt have the C2 I would never know that. The price they are selling this tv at is a no brainer for anyone that wants a OLED and not spend a lot of money. And on top of that. The tv has four 2.1 hdmi ports. All at 120hz. The input lag is another pro. Its very very low. I would recommend to anyone who doesnt mind a 48” screen. Its not as small as you may think.

I was looking for something bigger. I saw this tv on at Best Buy and I looked at the other pictures of tvs surrounding the LG 48 oled. It was super easy to plug in and watch. I moved my chair a tad closer to the tv and I couldn’t be happier. I like it so much I bought a 2nd exact same model. Thanks again Best Buy. I bought a Geek Squad membership and I didn’t need them for my LG tv.

Outstanding picture, great refresh rate, the perfect monitor if you are on a budget. I've read reviews saying it's not as bright as xyz, but seriously, from my admittedly short experience with it so far, it is more than bright enough to satisfy all of my viewing habits, and I have the brightness turned down fairly substantially to suit my darker room settings.
The sound is definitely flat panel levels of passable, but I would recommend using either a soundbar or an external receiver/speakers to get better sound, and it's pretty easy to do when you save so much getting the TV.
This is my first Oled, and I have become a believer, it's so much better than my previous LG Qned as a monitor, better contrast, better viewing angles, no motion smearing because the pixel response time is nigh on instant as far as I can tell.

We bought 3 TVs before keeping this, including samsung and some cheapo brands. This thing is amazing for the price, the color is insane. When the screen turns black during scenes I sometimes think I accidentally turned the TV off, thats how black it is. We got a 48 and just bought our inlaws a 55. 5 stars all the way. This is it dont spends thousands extra on other brands.

I’ve had this tv for about a month or two and I’m really glad I upgraded. I am by no means a picture wizard, but the quality is amazing for just about anything I watch/play. I use it mainly for gaming which it has a lot of gaming centric settings like ALLM, VRR, 144hz and some other options as well. It supports HDR which is great for PS5 Pro and Switch 2 and then Dolby Vision for Xbox Series X. The amount of stuff this TV can do and support is pretty crazy all around. I upgraded from a QLED and definitely notice a difference in the brightness, but the vibrant colors and all the gaming features definitely made me happy that I switched. It has plenty of picture modes and customization for watching shows and movies, but haven’t really messed too much with any of that. The speakers on the TV is one of the only downsides that comes to mind. It has some AI features that can help balance the sound, but the speaker output with that on or off leaves a lot to be desired. If you have a soundbar or wear headphones most of the time this won’t be an issue. Only thing I recommend before getting this TV is looking into getting premium HDMI 2.1 cables for your devices before swapping. If you use the HDMI 2.1 cables that come with consoles or most modern devices, the quality they can provide is like bare minimum and can make the picture quality very poor. I had to buy new high speed HDMI 2.1 cables from AudioQuest and that added like another $300 to the entire purchase with the TV. It’s a spendy upgrade, but if you have the money and value top quality of all modern gaming consoles and even PC this is definitely a good choice.

The tv was everything i expected out of an Oled. My issues with it were the size. For me personally it was too big to be a monitor and too small to be a main tv. Other than that, i hated the remote. I strongly suggest getting a better remote for it. The magic mouse is permanently on the screen with their lg remote. I would highly recommend this tv if you like the size, everything you watch on it will be absolutely gorgeous even older shows.

I'm truly blown away by this TV for the price. I've had a high-end Samsung that started endlessly power cycling after 15 years, so I thought I would try out a different brand and model and go for a lower-end replacement. This oled is just stunning... I can't believe I've been missing out on 4K OLED all these years, and the 48-inch model is the perfect size for my setup. I mostly use this TV for gaming, and it's a night and day difference from an LCD/LED. Even makes retro systems like the 360 look stellar. 48 inches is the perfect size for my gaming setup, and I'm happy to have this OLED as a part of my setup for a fraction of the cost.

This TV is a steal for the price!! Super clear and vibrant colors for streaming. There are different picture modes and audio modes you can customize. This TV is also great for gaming with 4k at 120hz refresh rate, it also supports VRR to reduce screen tearing. The LG webOS is very user friendly and customizable and with the LG thinQ app, you can seamlessly connect your phone to your TV. I highly recommended this TV for anyone on a budget!

a good tv overall. has a really good picture coming from my samsung mu8000 edge lit led lcd with local dimming. i think that tv has a good picture too but theres something special about an oleds picture over the other screen technologies out there. if youve ever went to the tv section at best buy the oleds always look the best
some reviews have mentioned the tv is not very bright but i think its plenty bright as long as you disable the eco settings that are on by default. i actually think the max pixel brightness setting is much too bright for me so no issue there. i dont use it in a brightly lit room so that could affect my perception. its not a dark room either so considering i only set the pixel brightness to 60/100 and contrast at 83/100 theres plenty of brightness headroom if i open the curtains on a sunny day
another thing mentioned in a lot of reviews is that lg is using an outdated, slower processor in the b4 [unless you buy the b4 in the biggest size. then you get the updated processor that comes in lg c series]. this issue i tend to agree with a bit because at times the menu can feel a bit laggy and not very smooth. its not really a big deal to me considering its a more budget friendly oled and its not really that bad. before i bought the tv i was thinking i could just use my apple tv device as my interface but its not even bad enough for me to feel like its necessary. i just think it could be better if im nitpicking
this is my first oled so naturally im concerned about the potential for burn in. i dont even have 100hrs on it yet but i cant speak for how itll hold up after a few years. all i can do is be conscious of static images and zoom movies with black bars like i used to do with my plasma. maybe im overthinking it. a lot of people say burn in is hardly an issue, especially with newer oleds, unless you heavily abuse the tv [whatever that means] so hopefully the likelihood of getting burn in is minimal. i mean after all i never did get burn in on my plasma and they say plasma was more prone to burn in than oleds.
i give it 5 stars overall. i didnt take a star away for the weaker processor because its not bad and considering how good the price was [got it on sale] you just cant beat it for such a good picture.

First OLED i dont know how to describe other than the best picture and sound ive ever had! Of course i have a dolby Atmos reciever. This tv is excellent for movies & games! Colors are deep! Blacks pop! Has AI inhanced picture and sound! Might take a while to figure out all the sertings to your liking. Also not sure why it reconizes my ps5 not my xbox. Actually lists the xbox as ps5??? That aside overall wonderful.. game settings are very awesome too! Its like a built in app tells you fps allm etc. This review is for the 48inch! Get it! Good price right now!

I purchased this TV for use as a large-screen computer monitor. While generally the TVs suffer from issues when used as a monitor, in my research, the OLED TVs have sufficient refresh rates. Indeed, this device provides excellent picture, and I would have been very happy with this set in my application, were it not for one (major) flaw. The issue is that this model (I am not sure about other LG OLED models) forces auto-dimming of the screen if the picture does not sufficiently change over time. So if you are reading a document on the screen, or even typing something, the TV perceives it as basically a static picture, and the screen starts dimming, ostensibly to protect the panel. Having paid for the set (and understanding the risk of the pixel burn-out) I want to be able to make a conscious decision to prioritize the current quality of the picture over the long-term longevity. However, there is NO WAY TO DISABLE THE AUTO-DIMMING. As a result, avery few minutes I have to move the window around with my mouse, in order for the screen brightness to be resotred. This is extremely annoying and impacts productivity. In doing research, it appears that there used to be a way to disable auto-dimming, but recent firmware updates have removed this option. While this set produces very good quality picture for full-screen TV images (and probably gaming), without auto-dimming, I mostly usethis large-screen for running business applications. so that the auto-dimming bug is a serious issue for me. I believe LG should not be preventing the users from modifying the settings of the TV they paid for to make it most suited to their application. This is not a car which, when modified incorrectly, may become dangerous, so taking away owner's ability to disable auto-dimming is plain wrong.

Picture is fantastic, the sound is clear. Excellent for console gaming. For the price I paid It was a great purchase. Sure their are marginaly better TV’s. However if your person looking for an OLED TV for the first time. This a wise choice & probably $400 cheaper at least than the top tiet.

What can I say? This TV is perfect for my gaming room!!!
The picture is absolutely stunning. I currently have my PC and PS5 hooked to it. My RTX 4070 super is playing everything pretty decent. The deep dark blacks mixed with the vibrant colors just are fantastic.
And the gaming features on this tv are great. 120hz, VRR, and HDR. Amazing.
My one recommendation is directly wire and Ethernet cable to it. The interface is a little slow over WiFi but once I direct connected it it was super responsive.

Got the 48” for the bedroom. $800, couldnt find any comparabe OLED at that price/size. Setup is easy and quick. Picture is great. Has pretty good and fast software built in. The remote is advanced compared to others. Use it to watch movies and maybe play games once in a while. Deep blacks and colors thay pop as expected. Nice to control the tv, Apple TV and soundbar with one remote. Not aure if this price is really as deep of a discount as they claim $700 off is alot. Happy with the TV and no interest financing helps to sweeten the deal.
