Customers appreciate the 48" Class B4 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2024) for its exceptional picture quality, amazing black levels, and smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it a great choice for gamers. The OLED quality and unbeatable price point are also well-received. However, some customers find the remote control takes some getting used to, and a few have noted concerns about the software and stand.

I recently purchased the LG 48” B4 OLED, and I have to say, it’s been an incredible upgrade! The picture quality is stunning, vibrant colors, and great contrast make everything look cinematic. I’ve been using it for both movies and gaming, and the 4K at 120Hz makes a noticeable difference, especially on my Xbox Series X. For the price especially if you can grab it on sale this is a great deal for an OLED. Highly recommend it.

Love the picture. First OLED tv and i don’t know if ill go back to LED. Hate the remote though. There is a little trackball that you can use to navigate but also HAVE to use as the selection button. Pushing down to select an app often activates the trackball and cursor on the tv, overlaying an annoying pointer on the screeen and dimming it. Awful design.

I've been waiting to get the last piece for my entertainment setup, for now. Finally pulled the trigger due to black friday pricing. Unpacking was interesting. I was scared I'd pull it out incorrectly so I just cut the side of the box open. I am currently connecting my PC to it. That way I can throw up movies, tv series or games. I am running into difficulty with gaming since I need to go into game settings and select it as "main monitor". It's not a big deal since I just need to walk over to my desk or remote into PC with my phone. Im going to try other avenues like bluetooth or casting software instead of using the hdmi cable. The picture is amazing. The settings that allow you to tweak it is amazing. Loving the true black and how the colors look. Before I was usint a 27 inch mini led, which is great, but this is next level. I understand the oled hype now. The speakers on this bad boy are prettt good. I choose them over my sound bar. Then again, the sound bar is from 2013. Once again, features for tweaking sound and such are great. The remote is wild. Being able to use it as a 'laser pointer' blew me away. It isnt perfect, but very usable and useful. Pretty cool how LG provides some free channels, shows and movies. I don't use cable, mostly stream things and different avenues, but it's nice. Plus, free is free. The ads arent bad, not that annoying.

After spending a few weeks with the LG 48-inch, I’ve realized that you don't always need to buy the most expensive "flagship" model to get a true premium experience. As someone who uses this for both late-night movies and heavy PS5 gaming, here is my honest take on what it’s actually like to live with. The first thing I noticed—and it never gets old—is the infinite contrast. Coming from a standard LED TV, seeing "true black" for the first time is a game-changer. When you’re watching a movie set in space or a dark thriller, there’s no gray "haze" or light leaking from the corners. t’s surprisingly perfect. It feels much more immersive than a 42-inch on a desk, but it’s not as overwhelming as a 55-inch in a smaller bedroom.

Best Buy delivered the TV on time even among a busy shopping weekend. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the notification and found the TV box sitting downstairs. We saw the TV at Best Buy before purchasing and as soon I saw it, I knew what I was going to get. The TV looks great. It’s like a giant OLED phone screen. The colors are vibrant and blacks are unbelievably deep. When there is dark screen, it looks like power is off. HDR support works flawlessly bringing additional punch. I only had HDMI that supported 60hz and has been good enough. 4k playback looks very detailed and smooth. 1080p up scaling works very well. But 4k is noticeably better. Webos is good. It has a ton of apps and there are LG channels which is a nice discovery. I have a dedicated one streaming device which finally has a tv that can push it to limits. WiFi works and speedy. No problem streaming 4k content at 60hz. The sound is crisp and clear. The AI processing makes sounds twice as good as it does to the picture. The motion smoothing is not jarring. Aesthetically, the TV looks streamlined and well designed. Even when it’s off, it looks pleasant with the included stand. Happy with the purchase and definitely recommend it and recommend buying from Best Buy.

Best decision I’ve made on a tv. Got Thai oled on sale was kinda hesitant on buying it based on the reviews. Tv is awesome and black level are inky and picture is bright enough. Xbox series x connects at 4K 120 and all boxes are checked.

LOVE this TV! Price was amazing on a 1 day special. AMAZING deal on this solid, entry level OLED. Superb picture quality (C series is supposed to be a bit better but is also $500 more!). The AI set up actually linked my TCL soundbar without me having to struggle with the audio settings myself! That's always a hassle if you don't have the same brand tech. WOW!!! After tweaking the picture settings, the colors are true to life, black levels are "inky", as they promised. We had to schedule an emergency Geek Squad visit as I underestimated the size and weight of the TV - too much and incompatible with my old wall mount. They got a team out here 2 days later. Mike and Zach were AMAZING!!! The mount I ordered wouldn't fit on my wall so they were able to get the right one from their truck. No stress. This TV replaced a 10 year old 42" Vizio that we had no problem with but I felt 10 years was about the life expectancy and these dumb tariffs will only increase the price moving forward. All in all, this was an exceptional purchasing experience. Bravo, Best Buy and oh yeah, LG makes an amazing OLED Television!

Amazing Quality for the price. Compared to the C3, main difference is that the C3 is a little brighter, for almost half the price, just buy this one. Gaming is exceptionally enjoyable. Colors jump while black is true black. Works well with ROKU Stick and Apple TV. Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision included with TV. Antenna works great as well, in 4K. Highly recommend.

Incredible picture quality and experience! I think the smart TV interface isn’t amazing but it’s better than many I have used before. The blacks are very inky and even when I have diffused light coming in, the TV still looks great. At night, it’s truly incredible!

I really enjoy the LG OLED B4. Coming from a Sony Bravia LED it’s a little darker than I expected so I will not give it 5 stars but as I get used to it the OLED quality shows, especially for gaming.

I bought this TV to use as a monitor for the new M4 Mac Mini. It worked straight out the box at 4K 120hz without any configuration. The colors are exactly as promised. Also was surprised that the tv goes into standby and comes out of standby when connected to the Mac. I can't say anything about the actual smart tv portion since I don't plan on using it.

Picture quality is unreal. This is a steal at 50% off. I wish it has the same stand as the C4 models. The middle stand looks so much better than these wide stands. I also expected the TV to be thinner. The wide part on the bottom half goes all the way to the edge. Overall I would say 4.5 stars. These cons may not bother some people. You are getting elite picture for the price.

I wish I could give this TV a 4.5 star review. It’s honestly a great TV for the price. The picture quality for gaming is perfect and it does support HDMI 2.1 as well. For watching movies is great too as well as sports

This TV has a gorgeous picture for Dolby Vision and HDR10 sources and does a very good job of upscaling lower resolution media. Physically, it fits well in a smaller living room for apartment living, but is large enough that you can feel immersed when watching an epic film. It's almost physically impossible to have good speakers in a TV this thin. But after connecting a soundbar via S/PDIF, movies and TV shows sound fine. webOS has a slick, responsive user interface but some annoying ads. Thankfully, there are many ways to turn off the majority of unsolicited recommendations on the home screen and screen saver. Also, some minor streaming services don't provide a webOS app (MGM+ and Kanopy at the time of writing) but you can use your mobile device to cast to the TV with either Airplay or Google Cast.

This is a solid TV. Picutre quality is upper end of good, not amazing blown away, but definately puts the 4K on the screen. Im not a huge tech person, so maybe they would have little complaints that I don't. The TV has met or succeeded everything we have asked of it. From upscaling 90s and 00s anime, to running the PS5 flawlessly, even on local multiplayer. I got a cheap ($120) sound bar thing with it. The native speakers had OK quality and sound. Enough to fill the room. The sounds v Bar i would recommend if youre jnto cinema or enjoy that immersion level. Other than the OK sound, the controllers' tracking can be a little jank. But its easily recalibrated, and only looses .5 of a star. Defineitly a TV that kind of is what it is. We got it on sale for about $800.00USD. The 48", Had it for about 3 months now and no issue with burn in, color drift, or dead oleds. Solid entry level OLED TV that didnt break the bank. More a test of concept to see what the hype was. It repalced our Samsung 720p that now haunts the guest bedroom. It was from the mid 2000s. Needless to say, I'm sold on the 4K OLED hype train. Next one will be a 75/77/83 for the wall and this one will be our bedroom TV. Oh, one final note. Doesnt bother me, but it may bofher some.... it takes a few seconds between clicking "ON" and the TV registering the command. It bothered the heck out of my one friend. Which made me like the TV more honestly. Final Score: -0.5 Sound -0.5 Controller +0.5 aggrivated friend 4.5/5 Not a bells and whistles space ship. Not expected to be. Great TV 3-4 months in!

Compared to the C1 (late model with Evo panel) that I now have in a bedroom, the B4 is more or less equal in terms of picture and audio quality. I find the built-in speakers to actually be quite serviceable on these TVs for regular, mid- to low-volume usage. Upscaling quality is substantially improved over the C1 I had and was surprising to see how well older DVDs and lower res sources were handled on this screen. It also has the same number of inputs as the older C series, which is great because that was a big drawback to the B3. Definitely would recommend this TV to anyone looking for an OLED at a good price and not needing the absolute maximum number of software bells and whistles. Giving 4 instead of 5 stars because I want to strongly encourage LG to bring back its black frame insertion feature at 120Hz as well as 60Hz. If you're a gamer and would enjoy the extra motion smoothness at the cost of some brightness, then BFI truly shines at 120Hz or higher refresh rates. LG has not had this high refresh implementation since the C1, which is very unfortunate.

This is my first OLED, I've had LG in the past and always had good luck with them. The color and sharpness is great without calibration. The apps are good and easy to use. I like the remote and find it easy to use. The sound was actually pretty good too. I got the B4 on Black Friday as a door buster and I thought the price was unbeatable. The sound was actually pretty good.

This TV captures all the basics and more for the OLED magic: perfect contrast, blacks, and color. Really good value for the price. Even the default speakers are surprisingly acceptable in audio quality.
