This LG OLED has excellent quality, but I returned it and bought a Samsung - 55" Class QN70F Series Neo QLED Mini LED 4K, fantastic too, because I use it on the computer and for a long time and unfortunately OLED TVs still run the risk of burn-in. More for normal use like TV, watching movies, I highly recommend it.

The TV picture quality and sound are excellent, but the remote needs to be more user friendly (and needs a better instruction booklet). Most importantly, LG needs to include a PBS app. The web OS can be a bit sluggish sometimes.

I heard good things about OLED, but never been one to wanna spend alot for things. But when this deal came about, I couldn't pass it up. Now I see why reviewers and experts recommend these type of TV's with their rich and true color reproduction & how the glass panel really lets it make colors pop more than just a regular tv panel. On top of that HDR is much better compared to my old Hisense LED. Only down side to me is the LG remote wants to do too much. I'm ok with clicking and scrolling with my d-pad. Their mouse ,gyroscope like scroll is just a tad too evasive.

I was surprised how good the packaging was despite getting an open box version of the product. Everything is intact as if it wasnt even opened at all. The product performed really well. The dolby vision and HDR looks good even if my room is kind of bright. Just make sure to turn ofd energy saving, that whats causing the darkness and its not that much difference to the power consumption anyway for the better overall picture brightness you get. The only gripe i Have is the setting up of an LG account to fully use the apps. Another account on top of myriads of accounts I already have. Setting it up is also not a sttaight up process. I couldnt set it up on an android phone, so I have to use a computer to do it. May e theres a better way to do that but ita not intuitove and straight that you have to do those extra steps. Overall a good product for the price.

This tv is a great addition for the bedroom. Once you tweak with the settings to your liking you’ll be happy. Only complaint is loading time to get into the settings. The delay is a bit annoying but watching movies and gaming looks great . Colors are vibrant and darks are how they supposed to be. Hopefully an update to boost the settings load up and it would almost perfect.

Really love this new TV. Picture is sharp and there is really clear definition. Color is beautiful. All the greys are gone. Black is black. Cannot really comment on the sound quality as we also purchased a sound bar.

The C series and G series LGs are clearly better and brighter, but this is still an incredible screen and incredible value. For less money, the B4 blows away non-OLED panels on color and contrast, and you’re getting four HDMI 2.1 ports with Dolby Vision support. This is the best entry-level OLED on the market, and for most people a fabulous TV. People with bright, sunlit rooms may be better served elsewhere. I have the 48” B4 in a bedroom and a 65” C4 in my living room. The latter is certainly bigger and brighter, but the B4 holds up very comparably and does the job well in the bedroom which has less direct sunlight to contend with.

A Disappointing Purchase from Best Buy

I recently purchased the LG OLED 48-inch TV, enticed by the promise of stunning picture quality. While the TV itself has some notable strengths, my overall experience has been significantly marred by Best Buy's misleading product labeling and subpar handling. Let's start with the TV itself. The black levels on this OLED are truly exceptional. The inky darkness provides incredible contrast, making movies and dark scenes look rich and immersive. However, I've found the color to be somewhat straining on the eyes after extended viewing. While vibrant, certain hues seem overly saturated and lack the natural subtlety I was hoping for. This might be a matter of personal preference and could potentially be adjusted with meticulous calibration, but out of the box, it's been a noticeable issue. The TV's port selection is disappointingly limited. For someone with multiple gaming consoles, a soundbar, and other peripherals, the lack of HDMI ports quickly becomes a juggling act. This is a significant drawback for a premium television in this day and age. The Magic Remote, LG's mouse-like controller, is a mixed bag. At times, it's incredibly intuitive for navigating menus and web browsing. The point-and-click functionality can be much faster than traditional directional pads. However, it can also be quite fiddly and difficult to use for precise adjustments within apps or when trying to quickly change settings during fast-paced content. It feels like a solution that's trying to do too much and doesn't always succeed. Now, for the truly frustrating part: my experience with Best Buy. I specifically ordered what was advertised as an "Excellent" condition new TV. What arrived was far from it. Upon unboxing, it was immediately apparent that this was not a brand-new, untouched product. * There were noticeable scratch marks on the back panel of the TV. While not visible from the front, this immediately raised concerns about the care taken with the product. * Several accessories were missing from the box. This included some of the standard cables and documentation that should have been included with a new television. * The protective films that are typically applied to a new screen and bezel were already peeled off and haphazardly stuffed back into the box. This strongly suggested that the TV had been previously opened and potentially used. The condition of the packaging itself was also questionable, further reinforcing the feeling that I had received a returned or refurbished unit misrepresented as "Excellent" new. There was no indication anywhere in the product description or during the ordering process that this was anything other than a pristine, brand-new item. This experience with Best Buy has been incredibly disappointing. To pay a premium price for an "Excellent" condition product and receive something that clearly falls short is unacceptable. While the LG OLED TV has some inherent qualities, the issues with the color and limited ports, coupled with Best Buy's misrepresentation of the product's condition, have left me with a sour taste. I would strongly advise potential buyers to thoroughly inspect any "new" electronics purchased from Best Buy upon arrival and be prepared for potential discrepancies in the advertised condition.

Tv great. Just as expected. 120 hz and Oled. Great for my PS5. I really like the 48 inch screen, much bigger than I expected. Feel no difference really from my previous 55 inch.

    48” Desktop monitor OLED B4

I was talked into purchasing a 43” backlit LED monitor years ago from a computer store and I am so thankful to replace THAT with a 178degree viewing angle OLED panel. It took some doing to get the mouse working correctly (disable clarity settings for LAG) AND the brightness color and saturation were so insane I had to disable every AI HDR Dolby setting in the monitor. Finally after disabling so many features AND finding a reasonable monitor profile I’m ready to get back to work as a photo retoucher. The contrast brightness and 178 degree viewing angle are the reason to purchase this amazing display as a desktop monitor. Strangely there is not a setting for “computer when defining the “HDMI input” so I think I’m having trouble getting the display to “sleep” and “wake” when I turn on my MacStudio but I hope to figure that out. I am am very happy with this purchase!

First OLED TV. I was driving myself nuts trying to decide which type of TV to buy. Coming from a 60hz LED TV, the LG G4 blows my mind. Amazing picture quality and sleek design. 120hz is simply fantastic for black ops 6 on PS5. Buy this TV right now for $649.00. You won’t regret it!!

Mid-tier price with top-tier performance. The sound is shockingly good, especially when the AI Tuning is enabled. You get a surround sound experience somehow. It's also nice that to have a model that was produced this very year. Several of the automated AI features make a considerable difference w/o me having to take any action. The Pixel Cleaning feature helps alleviate any concerns about OLED burn-in images. Similar to the fears people had with plasma tvs. When you factor in all the features, the sizes, and the hardware vs the price...it's the best value/performance deal I could find on a brand new tv. Guess those "only at best buy" deals are worth a look every now and then.
