This is our first purchase of a smart tv and it is wonderful. The picture quality is beautiful, its like the actors are in your living room, its almost 3 dimensional! We are very happy with our new tv. I recommend the OLED televisions.

Great TV for gaming in my man cave. I've never been one to say "bigger is better" as far as gaming TV's go. I had a 55" Sony and I hated it. I saw this 48" on sale and had to have it. It's a gamer's dream. Great picture, so so sound (I use headphones or a sound bar) and the AI features are great. I also love the one button configuration menu for setting up gaming specific features. I'll probably buy another one for my bedroom.

Bought this TV after reading that OLED was the best type of TV for viewing "dark" scenes so common in shows and movies we've been watching these past two years. Does have improved contrast and a great picture. Smart TV features make app and streaming more efficient once initial involved set up was completed. Very happy with purchase.

I picked this up on sale and it has a great picture, I like that it returns to last input on restart. I much prefer Google TV to Webos. The silliness the Magic pointer is just plain maddening. 4 HDMI ports including eARC, which works welll by the way. 48 inches is litle big for my space but price difference between this and the 42" made 48" oled a bargain. Ideally, I would have bought a 42" Sonly oled. I am a big fan of Google TV so I am running a Google TV streamer on HDMI 1; so I can live this one.

We came from a 55” LED tv to this…WOW. I had never seen an OLED but the colors and detail are outstanding! We don’t even care about the smaller size due to how much clearer everything is.

I bought it open boxed in excellent condition. The condition was perfect, and not a scratch or issue with it. With the product itself, I use it to game, watch tv, also as another PC monitor, and it looks amazing with everything I use it for.

Full transparency, I bought 3 of these for my racing rig. And they were too big to wrap around so I returned them. I wish the B4 was available in 42 inch. However, the image quality is top notch and they are awesome as gaming monitors. (Wish my GPY had 3 HDMI for VRR), but they actually worked extremely well without it and using HDMI to DPort.

I suffer from tremors so using this remote is near impossible. The pointer seems to be motion activated so it is constantly switching to that. Seems they would have thought of people with this issue when designing the remote. I can only use the it when it is sitting on a hard surface. The webOS system is cluttered and doesn't seem user friendly especially when trying to navigate with the remote issues. The picture and sound are great which is the only redeeming things about this TV which I suppose is the main purpose of a TV. I ended up installing my 4K FireStick to make things easier for me. As long as the remote stays the same, I don't see myself purchasing another LG TV.

    • Brand response from LG Digital Customer Care
      Posted .

Hi, Mike. Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with the LG TV (OLED48B4PUA) model. We’re glad you’re enjoying the exceptional picture and sound quality, but we understand how the Magic Remote and webOS system might be challenging to navigate, especially with tremors. We strive to provide a seamless and user-friendly experience with our products and ensure a smooth experience.

For an easier experience, you can disable the motion-activated pointer feature by navigating to Settings > All Settings > General > Accessibility > Pointer Options and adjusting or turning off the pointer speed or motion settings. Additionally, LG offers an optional Universal Remote or recommends pairing compatible third-party remotes that may better meet your needs.

We’re always looking to improve our designs, and your feedback is valuable to us. Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport if you’d like further assistance with settings or exploring alternate remote options. ^Juvy LG

Love the picture, I don't use the TV Speakers so I can't comment on them. The remote with it's pointer I hate. I wish I could turn it off. But if you use that arrow button it goes away till next time you go to change apps. But that being said - I'd guy again for the picture quality!

The LG OLED surpassed my expectations. Set up was easy and the picture is amazing. The screen is super thin and the TV is light. Many apps are directly available plus it plays nice with my Apple TV. LG makes great products at affordable prices. Would highly recommend.

So far, so good with this TV. Great picture, meh sound. Good connectivity except for audio output. Could not send audio to the stereo via HDMI/ARC port, had to go to optical, which worked (reason for 4⭐ instead of 5⭐). Switching to optical output for viewing streaming content disconnects the cable box audio, requires entering the setup menu to obtain audio output to stereo, should not do that.
