The OLED quality and unbeatable price point are also well-received. Very pleased with our purchase. The picture quality and the size are perfect for our space. We did add a sound bar, but the TV speaker was better than I expected. Price was great too!

The LG B4 I just bought from Best Buy has the most impressive image we have ever enjoyed at home. I read the reviews and made a value based decision. The B4 OLED won. And BB had a good markdown on our size for a few days that I got. We have ordered TVs from BB before; they come right to your home on the day they promise. Great!

If I could give this product zero stars I would because this LG TV has been a big disappointment from day one. Let me start out by saying that the picture quality this TV possesses is excellent but that is the only thing that was good about this product. Best Buys service and price is fine and I don't have any problems with Best Buy because they did what they could. To start, navigating all of the AI and all that is not easy and it was not a good experience. There should be a setting to turn all of that off and be done with it. Thats probably my fault because I'm an old school guy that is simply not accepting of all the new AI options and whatever. The issues with this TV started maybe a month after I bought it in August of 2024, which was only 14 months ago from when this review was written. The TV every 4 or 5 days wanted to run the clean pixels process which was a pain in the a.. to actually accomplish. A message would come up with instructions to click OK and it would perform the process. It didn't work because the next time I turned the set on it wanted to clean pixels again, and again, and again. I tried cleaning the pixels manually and on and on until eventually it decided to complete the process and the message went away. That is until it wanted to do the pixel cleaning again 4 or 5 days later and I had to go through the days long process again to get the message to disappear. There is no option to turn pixel cleaning off. Jump ahead to this week, November of 2025, 14 months almost to the day after I bought this TV. It stopped working and is now DOA, that is dead on arrival and it will no longer even power on and turn on. My next action will be to bring it to the dump and get rid of the thing as hazardous waste. I unfortunately did not get the extended warranty which would have covered the product and the Geek Squad would have come in to do a house call and see if it could be fixed. That's my second mistake with this TV with the first mistake being my purchasing it in the first place because I should have bought a new SONY. My old SONY Bravia that I was replacing was 17 years old and had no problems other than a few dead pixels, which is why I was replacing it. I called LG because that was my only recourse. I figured that it might be something that I was doing and I wanted to talk to a service person. The service person was nice and I went through her checks. Yes, the little red light on front was on and when the TV was turned on with the remote the red light blinked but no picture came on, it was dead. To end this sad review, the LG service person said she would elevate this issue to a higher service level and that she would call me back at 1 pm the next day and tell me what they said. LG never bothered to call me back and I waited all day. With that said. my opinion of LG is that they sell junk so make your purchase with that in mind. I bought this OLED TV 14 months ago and it only lasted 2 months past the warranty expiration date and it died and now I need to go out and buy a new set, which will be a SONY this time and I will get the extended service. One last thing, do not let let the AI on the TV log in to the LG web site to register the TV because that does not work either. My registration that I did from the tv was not showing up on my LG account. I had to convert the LG account from the TV to the Internet so I essentially never even registered it! But I was still getting ads from LG every single day because it appeared to have been registered when it wasn't. This LG experience was horrible and it turned out to be a horrible product so buyer beware. If it happened to me it could happen to you because LG seems to be very poor quality in my opinion. Their customer service are liars as well because they never bothered to call me back and tell me it wasn't registered and that the warranty had run out, which I already knew. Best Buy however is just fine, poor product quality isn't their fault and they will stand buy it if you have the Geek Squad coverage. So my last suggestion is to buy their 3 year Geek Squad warranty or whatever, especially if you chose to go the LG route. Good luck. My next TV will be a SONY because it lasted 17 years and will probably be bought at Best Buy because there really isn't any other place to purchase TVs these days.

Hi, Howiee. Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with the LG TV (OLED48B4PUA) model. We appreciate the time you took to explain what happened and want to provide some guidance.

For this model, the Pixel Cleaning process is an automatic maintenance feature designed to preserve picture quality. While it cannot be disabled, it should normally run in the background without repeated interruptions. If the TV continues to request pixel cleaning excessively, one step you can try is performing a full power reset: unplug the TV for at least 5 minutes, then plug it back in and attempt to power on again. This can sometimes clear persistent system prompts.

Since your unit is no longer powering on, and the red standby light blinks without displaying a picture, this indicates a hardware issue that requires service. We purchased this for our kids tv so it would match our 65in LG C1 on the same wall. The quality is top notch and comparatively as good as the C1. Only issue with 2 LGs side by side is remote related as they both tend to turn on and off no matter which one youre aiming at. That said, even changing the set ID doesn't do anything.

This TV is much better than I expected considering the price point! $550..... It also has surprisingly good sound, at least good enough for my bedroom TV. Easy set up. So far so good.

The B4 is a great TV. At $800 for the 48 inch that is a complete steal in my opinion. It may not have the fancy Evo panel the C series has but its still very good. If you were holding off on a good deal on an OLED TV the B series is it.

This tv has a great crisp picture. A good size for a bedroom. After following the onscreen promts repeatedly we werent able to program the channels. Since Im a Best Buy plan member I called them for support. I was told that there was no remote help and I would have to pay 199 for Geeks to come. Ridiculous. I called another company and they came out for 79.

Bright clear picture, good sound. The ideal tv for limited space and best picture quality. I had heard that OLED TVs were not very bright. I didn’t find that to be true, I replaced an LCD I I think this screen is brighter. For sure the picture quality and sound are better.
