So much to like!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am really enjoying this TV. My previous TV was 12 years old so you can guess it was a big upgrade. While this is a 2024 "B" Series product the viewing experience is exceptional. Plus, the $599.99 sales price fit my budget.

Very disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This rating is for this specific TV and Smart TV's in general. I am trying to replace my plasma TV and new TV's just don't seem to be of the same quality. Especially for sports. I can see where an OLED is great for watching movies from a disc or other high quality content for for an old man like who just wants to turn on my Xfinity box and watch the news it sucks. I assume the upscaling is not working properly so everything is blurry and I am not willing to fiddle with it. Therefore smart TV's are not smart. This TV is also too dim. My room is not very bright and this TV is supposed to be brighter than my old plasma TV but it is not. If you are replacing a cheap old LCD TV then this one is an upgrade. If you are replacing an old plasma tv you will be very disappointed. I am also disappointed in the very limited adjustments available since none of them worked to make my picture look better. I also changed the setting on my cable box to ensure I had the highest resolution and my HDMI cable is high quality and new. Sound quality is good.

Posted .Hi, John. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your concern about the LG TV (OLED48B4PUA) model, especially after transitioning from a plasma TV. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products and ensure a smooth and seamless viewing experience. For the blurry picture, it might help to adjust the “Picture Mode” to something like “Vivid” or “Sports” for better clarity, as those modes tend to enhance motion and brightness for content like sports. You might also want to check the "Picture Settings" and fine-tune features like "Sharpness" or "Motion Smoothing" to improve the overall viewing experience. As for the dimness, we suggest checking the "OLED Light" and adjusting it higher to increase brightness, and enabling "AI Picture Pro" can help optimize brightness based on the room lighting. Please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport with your details, and our team can assist you with further steps to improve your TV’s performance. We’re here to help and ensure you’re getting the most out of your OLED TV. ^Juvy

Fantastic picture; not a fan of webOS.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gorgeous picture and very sophisticated user interface with wonderful options like LG live. I've also found LG ThinQ to be a very powerful remote tool. The only disappointment is webOS. While I can access many basic internet sites (like e-mail), the system requires a Ph.D to install and use an external drive to download Chrome and password managers, web meeting platforms, etc.
