Great package
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV does everything we need for our living room and is about the right size for over our fire place. The picture is fantastic and the sound is far better than our bigger, more expensive TVs. As far as WebOS, I like it though we still generally run our Apple TV most of the time. As far as connectivity goes this is better than Samsung or other options I've encountered. The LG Gallery+ art feature is a bit confusing to get started, but once it does it looks just as good as the canvas TVs I've seen. Really solid TV for the price.

Amazing TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our 8 year old Samsung 4k tv died. Since it would live in our bedroom, I was planning on buying an entry level tv, but saw this one on a massive sale and decided to buy it (my wife definitely was not happy that I spent $300 more than budgeted). This is our first OLED TV and my god, the difference between LED and OLED is significant and I am glad that I purchased it. The TV isn't the brightest, but since it's for our bedroom, I prefer the lower brightness compared to the other LG models. If I was purchasing for our living room, or brighter area, I would look into purchasing the C5 at least. Anyway, while listening to my wife say her peace about me spending more than anticipated, I mounted the tv and set it all up. I turned on the TV, put on her novelas and she immediate stopped. She sat down and said, "I see why you bought it". Happy wife, happy life. She is enjoying watching her novelas on this beautiful OLED tv.

Highly-rated TV at GREAT price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Highly-rated TV at a GREAT price! Sharp, bright picture and clear sound. Just wish the remote had fewer confusing buttons. Plus wish that the TV width cited on box and in online specs was more accurate -- listed measurement is 42.1 inches wide, but TV is at least 2 inches bigger than this and doesn't fit inside the 43-inch wide built-in "TV nook" over my livingroom fireplace (meaning added, unexpected expenses to modify the "nook" to accommodate the TV...).

Amazing 48 inch tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm thrilled with it. If you want a TV that has an absolutely stunning picture, works amazingly for gaming, and fits in a smaller space, this is the one. It makes watching anything feel special. I keep finding excuses to turn it on.

Great Image quality for the money. UI OK.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so happy with image quality on my first, I went back for a 2nd. Caught it on sale, satisfied with purchase. My only issue is with the TV UI, There's still a lot of descriptions/text that feel like they were translated poorly from Korean. The Home page and voice control are not intuitive, I connect mine to an Apple TV so I don't care.

OLED, you get what you pay for.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a lot of TV's. From projection, 4K, to smart tv's. From 13" to 75". The LG OLED 48" is, by far, the best TV I have ever had. Easy to set up with a solid remote, an excellent picture from the moment I turned it on.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality on this TV is great! Very crisp, clear and excellent color definition. OLED is definitely the way to go!!! Was very easy to set up & download all of my apps that weren't already preloaded. The remote is fabulous! Great TV at an even greater price!

Amazing with the right settings and the right show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound, very happy about that! Picture is awful out of the box as it defaults to a setting that creates the dreaded Soap Opera Effect. Why would LG do that? I finally set up as Cinema or Film Maker Mode and things look great! Still, going from standard HD to 4K still makes some shows look a bit weird to my eye and in the Soap Opera realm, but that just might be a problem with the particular show. For example, most movies look incredible and cinematic, but there were times that Apple's Pluribus for example looked like a Soap Opera... Thoughts?

Better than looking out your window
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best picture quality that I have ever seen. The vibrant colors and sharp lines brings whatever you are watching to appear live in person. I was nervous spending so much for this size of screen that I had very high expectations. When I turned the TV on for the first time I was not disappointed at all. It is the level of quality that I was hoping for and more.iEvery time a visitor sees my TV screen for the first time they immediately notice and comment how clear and realistic the pictures are. What even tops the unbeatable screen quality is the sale price. The original price was about $1200.00 and it was selling for $650.00.. LG is a leader in the TV world and I promise you if you purchase this TV you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic picture
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Getting this TV for less than $600 is probably the best value in television that I’ve seen in years. First off, this is a 2025 LG OLED 48” TV. Dont let the size deceive you. After setting this up in my son’s room, we watched The Martian streamed thru Netflix. From the start, we were blown away with the picture, color and details that we saw. It didn’t matter we were watching on a 48” screen, watching a movie on this OLED is better than watching on our 3 yr old 75” TV. And thus was even on a movie being streamed. How much better would it have been if it were from blu ray? Also, we were wondering how the sound would be coming from a small TV. We asked the Best Buy rep and he said we probabky would need a separate soundbar as the TV would be lacking in sonic pleasure. Let me tell you, audition this TV at home first before getting an extra soubdbar. The sound coning from this TV belies it’s diminutive size! I’m not just saying it’s loud. The sound is detailed and expansive—another surprise that we had! If youre in the market for a bedroom TV, you better not let thus bargain pass abd run over to Best Buy and get thus right now! If you havent watched an OLED TV in your home before (in a darkened room, of course) you wil be blown away. My thoughts running in my mind while watching The Martian was all the wasted moments, watching all those hours, months, and years on an inferior TV. I really felt all those times were wasted missing the visual experience that an OLED TV could have given. So for sll of you young ones out there, do not waste your time watching TV on a lesser TV. You have the technology available now that wasn’t available 15 or so years ago, and what’s more important—it’s also affordable! By the way, I didn’t mention anything about gaming. I am not a gamer. But my son is! If you’re a gamer, you probably already know that an OLED screen is the only way to go if you want the best visual experience.

RICH and vivid colors
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have hemmed and hawed about trying out the OLED market for a long time and always went with the "more bang for the buck" of QLED. The discount on this model during the holidays was too much for me though. I was longing for the higher end Samsung OLEDs, but I wasn't sold on it being that much better. So I opted for this 2025 entry level model to just see how good the picture might be; color me impressed! The colors are just rich and saturated like I like them, and though I am not too picky anyway, even I can detect the difference. I use this as my monitor and had worries about burn in and going from a 55" QLED to a 48" OLED, but it works just about right. This is a small as I think I can reasonably go though, because of the readability with windowing and resolution issues. I would recommend this for anyone on the fence between OLED and options, the picture really is better and I have yet to see any issues. I DO take good care to turn off my display when not in use and set my screen timeout down tight just because that is how I have disciplined myself to be with my monitors of all types.
