Let's get the obvious out first: OLED gives you the bluest blues, the greenest greens, the reddest reds and the blackest blacks. Color rendition is important to me, since the days when we had our first color TV set, an early RCA "roundie" CRT, nearly 60 years ago. I'm only docking the LG by 1 star because of deficiencies in brightness and whiteness. We have our set in the bedroom where brightness is not an issue but I think OLED would not be the best choice for putting the set in a brightly lit room or near a window. Regarding whiteness, the LG produces perfect white lettering, but it tends to render large areas of white (like a sky) slightly off-white. This may be a protective measure against burn-in, but I'm not not an engineer so I can comment further. Regarding sound, it's funny that for the first couple days I mistakenly thought that the LG was attached to my audio system; it was that good. After I attached it correctly to my audio system (which has a subwoofer), the only real difference was in the bass. Otherwise, the stock LG without a sound bar is quite good.

Perfect TV for gaming. The crisp image quality of 4k resolution on OLED display is top notch on this TV. The TV offers support of 120 hz refresh rate and also has nvidia g-sync capabilities that brings my gaming experience on 4k TV to a whole new level. Highly recommend for OLED Gaming TV !!

this is 1 best TV for gaming with next gen console. It delivers 4K 120Hz with my xbox series X. It also has dolby vision + atmos for apple tv 4k for best streaming experience with movies + tv shows. highly recommend this C1 model. no need to purchase the more expensive model of C2.

Let me tell you. I’m not at an expert when it comes to choosing tvs for my overall setup. In the last 2 months, I returned 3 LED tv’s. You read that right…..THREE!! I was always worried about burn in with OLED panels and that was the only reason I drifted further away from OLEDs. But after many hours of research and returning those LED tvs, I decided to try my luck with the LG C1 48 inch. Setup took less than 30 minutes and after that, I was blown away (in a good way). The picture quality is nice and crisp. The sound is phenomenal and astounding. You can actually see the smallest of details with the right picture settings. I’m also a gamer and let me tell you this, even the xbox series s looks so vibrant and rich on it. With allm, vrr support and dolby vision on it, it was really hard to stay away from this. Now Im just waiting to get my hands on the xbox series x and my setup will be complete. Trust me, if you are in the market for a new tv, look no further than this. It will exceed your expectations and you won’t be disappointed.

My deepest regret is that I couldn’t go bigger! This tv is amazing! My first OLED, and those colors are so crisp, and the blacks are sooooo dark! 10/10 reccomend! 120hz 4K so if you have that 3080 gpu it also makes a hell of a monitor!

Fantastic picture quality with incredible responsiveness when used as a computer monitor, with a few notable caveats: · Initial setup is cumbersome for PC use -- changing an input icon to PC is unintuitive and not explained in any manner · Gamma/Color Space should be detailed in an Advanced users menu during initial setup · TV stand is poorly shaped as the back extends several inches, making it almost necessary to use a third party option · VRR + GSYNC can cause a strobing/flickering effect during some games. Even titles that hovered around the 120Hz Refresh rate caused flickering any time they'd dip to 119 · WebOS can be a bit intrusive until you disable all of the features and automatic processes

I was going for an upgrade on my tv for gaming, sports and entertainment. This tv is one of the best I have ever had the picture quality is amazing! It is very good for any die hard gamer like myself also sports look amazing on it. This Is an all around amazing product so far! I would recommend this tv to anyone!

Held on to a mid range Samsung 1080p LCD TV for a decade. Finally went for an upgrade even knowing in a couple years there may be something better than LG OLEDs. I think most video standards; HDR, HDMI, etc have been widely adopted so now is a good time to purchase. Been very happy with the picture quality. The only real thing I can still say is a negative on an OLED is the ABL (automatic brightness limiter). I watch a lot of anime and large areas of bright colors is common. You will occasionally see the screen to dim slightly where an LCD it would not. However, it is still way better than the ABL plasma TVs had though. But as far as the highest quality TV you can buy right now and for a great price, it's hard to beat LG's offerings. And support for VRR/Gsync is excellent.

Tv is wonderful. Playing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X with 120 FPS (Now with Dolby Vision). Picture quality for movies is great. The new web OS is a great upgrade over last year. If you want the best for gaming on new consoles this is the TV.

This is one of the best TV’s you can get for the next-gen consoles. Great picture quality and wonderful for gaming. I use it as my monitor at the moment and it’s amazing! Has all the game settings I needed and no input lag once u put it in boost mode. It’s pretty much a monitor at this point.

Wow, just a fabulous picture and sound! Love the LG OLED 48” tv - what a difference from our dinosaur and now our world and picture quality is expanded with Netflix etc. Best Buy is also to be commended for all the people from sales, in-home consulting and installation who were just fantastic! Two little tips: 1). Unless you are a techy person who knows a lot, have them install your tv because these are easily damaged. And spending $200 for a year of Total Tech membership gets you that install for free plus lots of other help and discounts so that it more than pays for itself. 2). At the beginning I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend extra money to hide wires inside the wall because I thought we might be selling the house relatively soon. Then decided later to add that on which somehow didn’t make it onto the order. It’s getting installed at no additional cost but much more efficient to get that done up front. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEST BUY and LG OLED!!!!!

I bought the product to serve as my computer monitor, having read a lot of reviews prior to making the decision, I was unduly concerned that it would be too large for use. I sit a few feet back from the screen, haven't had any issues with it. Text isn't perfectly clear, but it's a minor issue, and there is automatic brightness shifting while browsing. Generally speaking though, these are again minor, especially given the current costs versus quality of the device. Video games are beautiful, 120 hz @ 4k with my 3090. Watching TV on it also looks great, better than on any other TV I have ever used. For the $800 I bought it at, I have no regrets. The speakers in it are better than my sound bar.

nice tv. excellent picture. easy to set up and navigate. The 'mouse' feature of the arrow is a little annoying sometimes though.

Excellent OLED display. After waiting for OLED mature, I finally purchased this after the C2 was announced to take advantage of the discounted price and boy was it worth it. Gaming on this display with a 3080 is light-years better than a standard 60hz LCD.

Excellent TV - we bought our first OLED 3 years ago for our family room and absolutely love it. We needed a TV for our bedroom so we went back to Best Buy to see if they had a smaller version of the same TV . We went with the 48”. It also has a center console so it fits better on furniture.

We typically purchase Samsung TVs and purchased the LG 48" as Samsung does not make that size a d we needed it to fit into a former space. Thus far quite pleased with the LG smart TV Great picture Easy to navigate once get familiar with as is different than our Samsungs

This TV has an excellent picture and features. TV, Movies, and gaming look fantastic on this TV. Sound quality is also very good. Smart features seem fine, I use an Apple TV so I don't take full advantage of TV apps. Playing games on this TV great. I have no complaints.

Tremendous picture quality, you haven’t seen 4k quality picture clarity until you’ve seen it on this set. The colors and contrast is incredible and across a variety of formats like movies, sports, and videogames.

I love my new tv and I feel like in the pictures not just outside ready to step in. The color is vibrant and took a bit to get used to the laser option and new view on this model. Similar but different. Highly recommend, very happy with purchase.
