premium tv, must take care to prevent burn-in
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Beautiful picture, premium tv. I returned the tv because of the need to keep the picture moving to prevent burn-in. The manual advises to not watch pictures that leave a black space on top/bottom due to different aspect ratio. I did not want to be bothered with going into settings to stretch these pictures. Otherwise, excellent tv.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased open box. TV works as advertised, very rich depth of color and surprisingly decent sound. I’d recommend LG OLED TVs to anyone especially if you game. PS5 looks amazing with 120Hz support

Contender for best value/quality OLED of the year
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG C1 48 inch is by far the winner when it comes to OLED’s on a budget. The OLED panel is stunning and at the price point being over 1k less than the competition this is a “no brainer”. The panel is bright, the black is pure black, and it has a stunning warranty in the event of burn in. It is also perfect for gaming and even as a computer monitor. The four HDMI ports are 2.1 giving full bandwidth and the PS5, Xbox Series X both love it. It also does Dolby Vision which many of the competition units in all screen types opted not to include. I highly recommend this model at 48 inches; it truly blew me away in quality/cost and more. I do recommend you get higher end HDMI cables, that costs around $100 but this is worth it.

Incredible picture and pixel level dimming.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PC Monitor Use: At 3’ back this TV is still too big for desktop use at 4K but I found a solution, custom resolutions. You can set 3440 x 1440 or 3840 x 1600 for example and have black bars around the unused pixels. You get a crisp image as pixels are 1:1 with no scaling/stretching. A 34”/38” Ultra Wide OLED won’t exist for a few years but you can essentially use the custom resolutions to get that experience today. A better experience than the LG 34GP950 at the same price, but at 120hz instead of 144hz. If I want to sit further back on the couch for a third person game I can set it to 4K and use the full panel. Really interesting setup! Just make sure you disable resolution scaling on the panel as the TV likes to blow up 16:9 resolutions to use the full panel.

Best TV.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV out there. Gaming and as a computer monitor. Only complaint is that having two in the same room makes some functions on the remote control both TVs. Mostly the power button.

State of the Art in 48” OLED displays.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Superb television. Excellent color, black levels and a enormous range of customizable settings. Paired with an Apple TV 4K (2021), the LG 48C1 delivers the best home video experience I’ve ever owned. Could not be more pleased.

LG OLED class C tv's are top notch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had purchased the 65" version of this model for our living room a year ago and love it. So when it came time to upgrade the tv in the bedroom I knew it had to be this model. I wish it could have been in a 43" flavor but I was able to squeeze the 48" in. I really enjoy just how quickly the apps load and respond as well as the ability to download and install other apps. I also really enjoy the magic remote and its ability to be a cursor as well as navigate via arrow buttons. The price is a little higher than other tvs of the same size but to me it is worth it.

Best TV I ever bought
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What can I say about this TV, it really is ahead of its time. Absolutely no regrets making this purchase, which was out of my price range but I just went for it. Nothing compares to these OLED screens. Crisp, beautiful, brilliant colors and black blacks. The sound is also amazing. I mean, it would rival some sound bars out there, not even joking. I’m using a PC and a PS5 with this TV and absolutely no issues with it. If you’re looking for an OLED TV this is the one to get, trust me you will not regret it.

Best TV/Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been looking for a 4K monitor with HDMI2.1 but most of them were priced ridiculously high or just had bad service. Then came alone this OLED TV. I did my research and it did live up to all the hype. I’m currently using this as a monitor. I don’t believe you can get burn in with these new TV’s unless of course, your gonna leave it on all the time. If your still scared get on the Reddit forums, they have a lot of helpful tips to prevent burn in. Overall this TV is amazing! For people who want to know, I’m connected through a hdmi 2.1 with a RTX 3090. I get the full 120hz for PC gaming. PS5 does not support VRR yet which is disappointing but still looks amazing. Once you go OLED, you don’t go back.

LG Believer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV I ever owned. OLED is the way to go. LG costs less than the Sony Bravia and with the bad experiences I’ve had with my past Bravia’s this was a great purchase. Recommend!!

Great television - very hard to assemble base
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd LG 4K television. I decided to get this because I wanted a smaller screen and it also has the most applications without the need for Roku or Amazon Fire. One thing that ALMOST made me return it was this. There are absolutely no instructions to install the base. Called LG transferred twice and was told by person to watch a Youtube video. I had to watch it at least a dozen times to figure it out. Thankfully the guy stayed on the phone until I got it assembled. $1100 and they couldn't even include a URL for assembly instructions.

Best available 42 inch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed to replace our sharp Aquaos 42 and had to stick with a 42 inch in order to fit the custom entertainment center We are very pleased to find this LG …with a fabulous quality picture at a very reasonable price point (thousands less than the AQUOS was only about six or seven years ago) The pictures vivid and I especially appreciate its quality in watching live sports… both golf and Rangers hockey…even better than before. We added upgraded sound bar, So my review cannot address the sound out of the box but I’m very pleased with the installation overall in my rating of the sound is with the Sound bar.

Great Quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is fantastic. Though, I really wish LG offered a 43" model for a cheaper price. Would be my best monitor/TV. Nonetheless, happy to know that at-least a 48" model exists unlike the high end QLEDs.
